Was greeted and helped by the owner + staff immediately. They gave me a great recommendation at just the price point I'm looking for. I'd rather get my wine here than Total Wine ;)

Rodney's approach to ownership is more like an educational partnership. His staff are not only friendly, they know their stuff whether it be wine, beer, alcohol and mixers. This is a must visit location!

It's my wife's birthday today, she's pregnant, and she wanted a very specific, somewhat rare non-alcoholic mix with soda on the rocks for a warm summer night.

Somehow, Cedar Lake had it in every flavor.

I got home and immediately broke the bottle and spilled it all... 100% my fault.

Rodney and team are the best in the business simply put. They take the time and really get to know your needs and preferences and I'm often recommended things I wind up loving I would have never picked out for myself. I feel like a member of the family every time I shop here and even get greeted on a first name basis. When you experience service like this take my word you wont spend your money anywhere else. Side note my personal favorite is the Adictivo Añejo tequila if you plan on shopping here.

Highly recommend!! Incredibly friendly staff with a great selection. I've found some of my favorite wines based on their suggestions (the Mark Herold Collide was as good as they promised it would be!), but they're also wonderful about letting you browse without interruption if you prefer. There are a few liquor stores a little closer to my house, but I drive out of my way to come here.

I don't know a ton about wine, but I have a specific type that I like. I stopped in here for the first time tonight, and I adored it. The staff (both of them, I wish I had gotten their names) were SO friendly and helpful. I told them what I was looking for and instead of just suggesting a pricey option, they picked something very affordable. I just got home and cracked it open... I am in love! They took so little information and turned it into a new favorite. They know what they're doing and they're genuinely nice while doing it. This is officially my favorite wine shop. Loved it!

Rodney and his staff are the best! Great quality & pricing are teamed with a special knack of matching your individual palate with the finest wines, beers and spirits available. They take adult beverage service and selection to the top. Wish I could give more than five stars :- )

Cedar Lake has an excellent selection of wine spirits and beer without any fluff or filler on their shelves. You can tell that Rodney and the staff take great pride in every offering they have and believe in the quality and value of their products. Stop in here for a great shopping experience!

This place is great!

They have excellent selection and are a fun place to shop. I highly recommend their wine club, which is a great value. Additionally their new product which packages 6 bottles of wine from one country (this month is 🇫🇷) with an info sheet is really cool.

This was my first time here, at the suggestion of a few friends. Super helpful and wine-knowledgeable staff. Not a huge wine selection. While they do not have the huge stock of other big-box liquor stores, they make up for in quality. All you need is an idea of what you're looking for and you will be directed to clear, delicious choices. Will be back for sure!

Well, I've just heard the magic words, "Tawny port is somewhat of a specialty of ours." This compared to some liquor stores, asking, "How do you spell that?"

A somewhat unpretentious storefront is hiding an owner and staff of knowledgeable aficionados. The place isn't fully fleshed out, yet, but they certainly appear to have an unerring instinct for stocking the good stuff (ex: the often elusive Buffalo Trace bourbon was available). A limited selection of beers, but leaning towards mostly quality brands, along with the obligatory micro brewery offerings. Limited at the moment, I suspect the Belgium farmhouse ales will soon become better represented. I will drive out of my way to patronize this shop.

I highly recommend Cedar Lake Wine Company. I like wine, but am usually overwhelmed when picking out wine at the store. I don't have to worry about that at Cedar lake Wine Company because Rodney makes it easy. I don't think you'll find a friendlier, more knowledgable or helpful person in this field. Admittedly there are much closer shopping options for me, but I'll gladly go a little out of my way to get the great experience I do at Cedar Lake Wine Company.

These guys know their stuff and they have a more than decent selection of top shelf liquor, wine, and beer. Super friendly. Super helpful. Some of it you can't find at a lot of the chain liquor stores. Could have a larger beer selection but they have most of the greats...

This is the place to go when you want quality service and good selection. They don't stock bad wine or spirits.

Great wine shop. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. It's the kind of place where you find unique wines... not the same old big brands that the giant stores are promoting.
