Highland Oaks County Park

Nice hidden gem to pier fish. Just be aware that it's about a half-mile walk from the parking lot to the pier...so you have to carry all your gear from your car to the pier and back. There are no seats or tables on the pier, so you might want to consider bringing chairs. And if you're lucky, you may see a beaver or two.

Great little hidden and peaceful gem! Walked the trails. Nice and quiet, not many bugs yet.

Beavers are active! Easily saw 7 trees they have been chewing on and saw 1 beaver swimming. Typically I only see birds while hiking here but saw his guy and was hoping that I'd see more. I didn't! But, I'll be back to hike again.

This was the property that I grew up on. I haven't been back to see it in almost 30 years but it is amazing to see how it has been turned into a nice, clean park that everyone gets to enjoy. I have such amazing childhood memories from this land and it makes me happy to know that other children will be able to experience the land as I did.

Peaceful, beautiful park! Great park to watch birds, take a hike and immerse yourself in nature. Portions of the trail can be wet or underwater after rains.

The portopotty is horrendous at the main parking lot. Please, for all that is good, do not use it!!!

Trails, archery open fields and even a portapotty. There's a PokeGym and 3 Pokestops you can get all from the parking lot. Parking lot is very bumpy pulling in, so go slow.

Nice place for a short walk or hike or jog. I would never call us apart and that there are no play structures are soccer fields, which frankly I prefer when I'm trying to take a peaceful walk.

Wide trails, well maintained. Fishing pier is a gem! I love coming here with my dog Minnie.

This is a rural undeveloped park with walking trails. Great for walking your dog, on leash, or joggers. You must have a current Oakland County sticker on your vehicle.

Very cool place! Lots of trails! Your one with nature here! Surrounded by trees and brush! Peaceful and quiet!
