One of the best places in Oakland county to have your vehicle repaired. They are polite and very helpful no matter why you are there. The girls in the office stayed over an hour past closing just to make sure a young mother was able to drop off her wrecked xt5 and pick up a loaner car. They even helped me drop a car inside the building. Spotting my flatbed front and rear as I backed inside. No porter or mechanic has ever cared to help out. The ladies in the front office went above and beyond to make sure I was in and out quickly. BIG THANKS to all my Ladies @ Lafontiane Collision.

The workmanship on my truck is top-notch. I see why they are a preferred recommendation from my insurance company. The only drawback was timing. They said it would be done in a week. When I showed up that Friday for pick up, they hadn't even started on it. MUCH better than their service department operates.

Had a defective clear coat on the front bumper of my 2017 ATS. They covered the repair, provided a loaner, and finished the job early. There was an issue with my initial loaner having a strong odor and with one call they immediately had another loaner for me. The paint repair came out perfect and Sadie was an absolute joy to work with. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would.

I have been leasing from LaFontaine for 20 years and they have always been very honest and easy to work with. The LaFontaine family is amazing!!! I would never go anywhere else. Deanna Bloom is one of the best salesperson on staff and is always ready to help. She is kind and listens to the customer and she works very hard to get what you want. Recently, my SO, John had a problem with his leased vehicle. GM was not taking responsibility for this issue, and he spent countless hours trying to rectify it, without resolution. The LaFontaine group cared enough and worked hard to correct the issue. We are very grateful! Can’t beat the ❤!!

We just received our truck back it had a full replacement of my bumper and it looks amazing, not only that i was in the middle of detailing my interior which is a lengthy process when i had to bring her in. When my husband picked it up it was done they went above and beyond and made my to do list a lot shorter. So thank you for your amazing work.

My problem was relatively small - some kind of unusual paint issue/possible tree sap raised spot on door. Didn't look like typical tree sap, so I didn't want to mess with it without having a professional assess the issue in case it was a paint flaw. Lafontaine Collision agreed to take a look next day walk-in early. Nobody was exactly sure what the raised blob was, but they were able to clean & buff it out in about 30 minutes. It was worth the drive. The handled it nicely.

Had the best experience with this collision center! My car was only a few months old and I got into an accident with a deer. Which was an upsetting experience overall since I had a brand new car was turned around quickly due to the efficiency of this body shop. I was able to get my car into the shop the very next day and was updated weekly with the status of repairs. Felt very comfortable with my experience and I definitely have Sylvia to thank for that! Thank you for making the best out of a situation that was a nightmare for me!

Anthony helped me with a repair to my Jeep. He was great at communicating and letting me know how long it was going to take. My Jeep looks brand new after my accident. I highly recommend.

Came here after Progressive, my insurance company, had arguments with the prior dealership body shop, which resulted in them failing to come to an agreement on the repair. So I decided to take my car here and got a new adjuster. They seem to have a great relationship with their Progressive adjuster.

After the first attempt at my Pearl White Diamond Tri-coat paint, I looked at the car and wasn't happy with the match. If you're knowledgeable on paint, this is one of the most difficult paints to match so it's really no one's fault, especially after they did 6 different sprayouts for a match. The second attempt they used their paint camera to match it to the rear bumper and again, it was a no go and the paint was way off. Eventually they had a representative from PPG come out with some different equipment to see if they could get a match and tried a third time, with 3 new sprayout shades. Sharr at the shop and I both came to the same conclusion on a sprayout shade and decided to go with it.

This shop goes above and beyond to please the customer. If it's not right the first time, which can happen with tricky paints, they will make it right.

On a side note, as a detailer, I always have a do not wash sign for my vehicles because I don't need my 15 hours of work polishing the paint every year to be screwed up in a car wash. This shop called me on two separate occasions regarding either dust or some tree sap that came onto the vehicle from being exposed to the elements to confirm what they should do about it. Both times I obviously told them I'd take care of it and not to touch it, but it's the thought that counts. I'd be upset if they took your average cotton rag and tried to wipe something off my car and put scratches into my car's mirror finish. There's a process to properly remove contaminants on a vehicle and a body shop isn't informed on how to do such a thing so I really appreciate them following my wishes! It shows they genuinely care.

Great workmanship!! Got a quote for my non GM vehicle to have front damage repaired. Both body and mechanical repairs done and I can not tell the difference in drivability. The paint is flawless and everything sounds the same.

I was recommended to LaFontaine Collision by the insurance company of the gentleman that hit our van in a parking lot. The office staff connected me with Adam, our claims adjuster within minutes of my arrival. They were very courteous, polite and helpful. Adam did a very detailed inspection of the vehicle and noted ALL of the damage, and even pointed out some things that I hadn't noticed. As our vehicle was 12 years old, the parts were not very common but LaFontaine Collision doggedly pursued obtaining what was needed and made SURE that the replacement was in brand new condition.

I could not more strongly recommend this shop. They are one of the best I"ve experienced.

I have had a rough summer, been in 2 accidents ( not my fault) and they have been great! Quality workmanship, great girls in the front office. They understand how stressful it is and do a great job at keeping you updated on the progress and keep your spirits up!!
