In working with Kelly, she was always extremely responsive and set up multiple showings with only a few hours of notice-- which is so important in this hot market! It being our first home purchase, she definitely educated us on a lot of things to help us make decisions, but was never pushy. After we put an offer in and through the inspection process, she kept us in the loop. We had a few things come up as part of the inspection, and she guided us through that process and never got frustrated (which -- which was extremely helpful.

My fiancé and I hired Kelly to help us purchase a house in the greater Twin Cities, MN area. We hired her in December of 2020, and had purchased a house by February of 2021. If we ever need to purchase (or sell) real estate again, Kelly will be our first and only call. She is the perfect realtor; responsive, extremely knowledgeable on both the market AND the process (she is a lawyer too), and knows exactly how to negotiate/communicate with opposing realtors/sellers. Local Knowledge:
Kelly knows most of the areas in the Twin Cities metro - to give you an idea of her capabilities, we looked at houses ranging from Andover and Rogers, down to Apple Valley, Shakopee, and Chanhassen, and everything in between. For each and every property we were interested in, she either knew the area already, or researched it and provided us with insight that was very helpful.

Process Expertise:
Kelly is a lawyer - she knows the real estate process (the language, the contracts, the regulations, and the commitments involved) like the back of her hand. For first time home buyers in particular, this was extremely helpful. We had also spoken to her references in advance; one of them sold properties through her, and she had routinely saved him thousands of dollars on taxes that he would otherwise have paid had he not followed her advice. Her skill on this particular quality is unmatched.

Responsiveness:
Kelly responded to every message we sent within 24 hours (usually within less then an hour) including requests to schedule showings. In this market--where houses sell in hours--that is incredibly important. To give you a sense of just how responsive she is, we had a last minute scare the night before closing (at 11:45pm). She texted us back, resolving the issue, at 12:45am. While we wouldn't ever demand or expect someone to do that in the usual course of business (people have their own lives, after all) that is the level of support Kelly provides. I genuinely cannot praise that enough. There was one instance where Kelly was unavailable for a showing; however, because she works with a team of people, she sent out one of her team members to help us out. That person was just as good. Please note; if you hire Kelly, you work WITH Kelly, barring a situation where she is unavailable. That was good for us; we didn't want to hire a realtor only to work with their associates. That's not to say associates aren't also good; we just wanted to work with the person we had researched.

Negotiation Skills:
Kelly was also great on negotiation skills. She had a good sense of market pricing, communicated well with opposing realtors/sellers and, perhaps most importantly, provided exceptional advice on what was a good offer/bad offer/bad terms. She also respected our particular wishes on offers; she would offer her advice on whether something seemed like a good or bad idea, but in the end, acknowledged that it was our decision and she was there to help.

In sum, Kelly helped us find the perfect home. She did so while remaining very responsive (through a pandemic no less), managing all the details, and making sure that we, as first-time home buyers, felt secure and informed through the whole process. Go with Kelly; you will not be disappointed.
