Hagberg’s Country Market

I have been going to Hagberg's since 1962. They are now i their third generation of ownership. Their service and products are top notch. Make sure you try them for their sandwiches at lunch, then go to the meat department to check out their wide variety of beef sticks and jerky. Their meats are also very good. You can fill up with gas 24 hours a day.

Hagberg's Country Market is wonderful! They have the BEST meats and a great selection of produce, homemade deli selections and a variety of everyday and unique products. They are family owned and extremely friendly and personable, yet still professional.

Friendly helpful service in a family business where you’re recognized and greeted, maybe even joked with, and can choose from a tempting selection of tasty cuts. Pick up a whole brisket, a few (already chined and ready to smoke) racks of ribs, a Picanha top sirloin, or something simple like a few chicken thighs or pork chops. Also good for a quick stop for groceries or lunch. Try the sage and onion bacon to wrap a chicken or a turkey breast.

Very much, a must shop market. Would be lost without their wonderful food, awesome team and of coarse, dog treats.

Billy was super helpful when it came to smoking my ribs. The cuts of meat are the best around. I get excited to buy meat to grill or smoke from Hagberg’s it always turn out delicious!

My favorite place for a Turkey Club in all of the Twin Cities area.

My 4 year old really wanted to order, and the butcher took her order, pointed to the brat in the case she wanted, took it out and showed it to her, weighed it, then handed it to her and thanked her. It made me so happy I got a little tearful. We love this store so very much.

Our personal favorites are the kebabs and double smoked bacon and brats, and they have a great deli with prepared foods.

Hagberg's Country Market is a small market with a clean Deli and meat department. My experience has been that the market is not only clean, but the food is fresh, the workers are friendly, and use good hygiene habits when handling food. Everything I have tried is delicious and fresh especially the Deli and meat departments. It is a bit out of the way, but I highly recommend this market for its value, cleanliness, and excellent service.

I love this place! They have an excellent selection of high quality foods! Everything that I've had from there has been awesome! The outside is a little deceiving as when you pass you'd think it's a gas station of sorts, but honestly when you get inside you're pleasantly surprised by all of the little niche food items. It's a perfect stop for a BBQ kind of night! Would totally recommend!!!

I am a amateur smoker, I really enjoy slow cooking meats. However it can be intimidating going to the butcher and making sure you’re getting the appropriate cuts for the number of people you’re serving.
Billy at the meat counter is super knowledgeable and super helpful. I mistakenly ordered far too much for the people I was cooking for. Billy took time out of his day to call me back and double check my order. He was absolutely right to do that. He saved me from having a lot of excess meat. I’m very grateful to have a caring butcher in the neighborhood. I would definitely recommend trying Hagbergs for your next BBQ

Best beef sticks in Minnesota, the beef sticks, spicy beef sticks and the pepperoni sticks are beyond AWESOME!
However, if they don't lower prices on them, or at least run some specials on them, people will get sick of paying $20+ a pound for them very soon.

Absolutely fantastic place. They have an excellent meat counter, delicious deli products, and an efficient friendly staff. It makes me happy just to walk in to such a well run establishment!

Great sandwiches, food is bomb

This place might as well have a statue of a grow man with a pacifier in his mouth because folks, this is a cooking man’s candy store. Great fresh meat, great smokehouse if you want to just start hammering it down before you get to the car. Lastly, their beef jerky is no joke. If regular jerkys size is equivalent to a yard stick, this stuff is a treated piece of 2” x 12”. One piece is a meal. Must visit!!!

Hagberg's Country Market is a wonderful store with an enormous selection of food and drinks. They have a phenomenal meat counter. They also have deli sandwiches made to order. Highly recommend stopping here if you are in the area.

Hagberg's never disappoints. They have niche food items that most grocery stores dont carry. And while small, they pack in a ton of those items into their limited space. They smoke their own meats (including a number of different types of bacon). If you want wood chips or anything else related to BBQ (Big Green Egg fans in the area should rejoice), then this is your place.

They have a deli with sandwiches (preset and custom) plus a sandwich of the day, which varies each day of the month. While a bit pricey, we keep coming back to pick up their niche items while also taking home their delicious cuts of meat. Their homemade meatballs are great. Actually everything is great.
