Rudy's Redeye Grill

Very elegant atmosphere, and our waitress was super accommodating. Perfect place to go with my daughter and her friend. She told me about the duck wontons and they were fantastic. We also enjoyed the bruschetta and french onion soup.

Had dinner here again, this time for my oldest daughter’s birthday. Seven of us, including grandson and the service and food was excellent! It was a busy Friday night and they still nailed all of our meals, everything came out looking great and hot food was still hot. Great, atmosphere.

Excellent service, great food and an aesthetically pleasing interior. We came here during lunch. We got the Ribeye, Chicken Fried Chicken special, the Raw Oysters, and Alfredo. All of which were amazing.

The size of the ribeye was a VERY generous size, especially for the price. It was cooked to our liking and it was VERY delicious and juicy.

The lunch special, the chicken fried chicken with the side of mashed potatoes, gravy and green beans was very delicious. The fried chicken was juicy with a slight crunch. It was lightly bathed in a warm gravy that really elevated the fried chicken to another level as well. I really hope this dish stays because it was really good!

The pasta was very well made. It didn't make you feel bloated. The amount you got with the shrimp was very well balanced. The sauce was just the right amount of sauce and wasn't super overwhelming as well. Overall, a solid pasta dish!

Service was excellent. Our waiter was very helpful and friendly. We got our drinks and water refilled in a timely manner and they checked in when they could and answered our needs when we asked. 12/10 service!

Overall, an excellent place to eat for lunch. Very generous amount of food so come with empty stomachs. The drink menu is amazing. We can see why this place is always packed. Would highly recommend coming here.

Hard to beat the energy at Rudy's Redeye Grill in the heart of White Bear Lake. This upscale American restaurant offers a great atmosphere, fun rooftop patio dining, excellent service, food and drink. Looking for lighter fare on a beautiful day, we choose flavorful salads that hit the spot. Brittany is the best server ever! We will definitely be going back and request to sit in her section. My daughter loved her and she was so great with kids.

First time here. OMG the food was delicious. The green beans were delicous!! I ordered the Coconut Shrimp. It was awesome. They had a favorite drink my husband enjoys the "Grasshopper". My husband and I are coming back to try other menu items.

We just left after having breakfast with Santa 10/10! We have been to a lot of breakfast with Santa experiences with our kids and this was by far the best. The food was great, our waitress was amazing and so nice and attentive. The decorations were so gorgeous and Santa and Mrs Claus were absolutely phenomenal. They were so nice with the kids and warming. Had a very warm welcoming feeling in that restaurant and we will definitely return in the future.

First time there. Rudytinis are amazing and well worth the price. Ordered steak tenderloins. Delicious. Had carrot cake for dessert and it was amazing as well. Highly recommend. Hoping to do the rooftop next visit.

My new favorite restaurant. It's expensive but, you get what you pay for. Every single plate was amazing. We will be back for sure!

We also had Duck Wontons, coconut shrimp, ribs and broasted chicken and fish and chips. Every! EVERY single plate was worth the money!

The food was great all around. We started with the Sea-o-plenty appetizer. They were out of oysters but subbed in more of the other items. The walleye bites were really good. Ordered the Rudytini and it was delicious, it had a nice raspberry-cran flavor and a large quantity! The pan fried walleye was great. The ribs were excellent. The medallions were nice and tender and juicy. One person in our party ordered the sweet potato hash rows and raved about those.

The Thanksgiving buffet was wonderful! The staff were very friendly and accommodating! They even had a very nice kids selection of food. Not traditional food for kids but actual food they would eat! I gave the atmosphere only 4 stars because it was very cold outside and of course there was some waiting even though we had reservations. The main set of double automatic doors appeared not to be working correctly. The second set was stuck open. The wait before and even where we sat inside by the pool was cold. A five star Thanksgiving indeed!

Martini with the chocolate and frozen raspberry was delicious. My husband and I shared the cajun chicken pasta, and it was so good! There are many options for food and drinks. Great service!

Stayed in the hotel for work and had dinner each night at this restaurant. All of the staff are true professionals. It was very busy every night but the service was great. Every dish I ordered was delicious and was delivered considerably quicker than I expected especially given how busy they were. Sean and Alec helped me out while I was there and both of those guys are incredible at their jobs. Give this place a try if you’re around you won’t be disappointed!

Rudy's Redeye Grill is a must-stop in White Bear. Make it a point to visit! The food is fantastic, the service is superb and the atmosphere is lovely. The atmosphere makes me feel like I am in a Norman Rockwell painting or a Hallmark movie. It is a timeless experience. The service is attentive and prompt with caring staff. The owner, Bill makes it a point to say hi to his patrons and thanks the guest for dining. Bill is appreciative of every guest and wants to make certain the guest experience is memorable. Thank you Bill and your Rudy's team for making an impact in the hospitality industry.

The walleye tacos were excellent and hearty. The Rudytinis are always refreshing and delicious. Great atmosphere and service. Perfect for girls night or date night. Or just a causal drink at the bar.

This was during a power outage. Had no ways to cook or heat anything up at home. Since we're immune compromised, ordered Doordash with a restaurant that we've never tried before. Delivery was faster than the estimated time and the food was amazingly delicious! Husband can't stop talking about the prime rib. If it left that kind of an impression from delivery, I'm sure it would have tasted even better dining in! And it's so worth it to have it again. The fish sandwich was very tasty too. The bread bun was too small for the fish size, but besides the, it's still very tasty. This restaurant is on the higher end expense wise, but the portion size and flavors makes up for it. We totally recommend this restaurant and will have to come and experience a dine-in next time.

We went here to celebrate my mom's birthday. Andrea was our server and she was beyond fantastic! My husband and I had the large 16oz prime rib with augratin
potatoes and we subbed our teriyaki green beans for five cheese penne pasta ($2 up charge) The prime had a nice flavor and the au jus was awesome. The augratins were very good and the pasta was good, just needed some salt. My mom had the 16oz sirloin that was cooked to a perfect med rare and was marinated in a soy sauce. The flavor was outstanding and so tender! My step dad had the coconut shrimp dinner and he loved it! He also said that the teriyaki green beans were fabulous. Also the hard rolls they serve you right away were wonderful and warm and so tasty. The prices are a bit steep however, the quality and the quantity of the food is worth it.
Please go here! It's decorated so pretty for Christmas. And ask for Andrea. She was EXCELLENT!!!!!

July 19th 2023. Went here with my girlfriend today for lunch. We sat on the rooftop and had a wonderful time! I ordered the shrimp in garlic, butter and wine sauce with baguettes off of the appetizer menu. The shrimp were HUGE! And so tender and flavorful. My friend had the BLT and she said it's the best BLT she's ever had in her life! She also loved her fries and seasoned sour cream. Loved sitting on the rooftop on this perfect summer day ❤

Much better than we expected. We have been to the roof top multiple times over the last few summers, but have never went to the inside restaurant. The menu was very different, which we knew. Everything was really good. I had the pork chops which were prepared perfectly. My wife had the Prime Rib, which was also really good (it looked a bit over cooked, but it was still very tender). The service was also awesome. We left super stuffed and a TON of leftovers to enjoy later. Will definitely visit again.

Tried Rudy’s for the first time last night with a table of 6. Our server, Eddie, was GREAT!! Our food was outstanding and the atmosphere was cool as well. We’ll be back soon!!

Hello Rudy's - I must have been hacked. I wasn't at your restaurant 2 weeks ago and did not leave a 2 star review. I saw your response and edited the rating. I have been there in the past and it has always been wonderful. The Rudy-tini is incredible and so is your food and service.
