We ran into some electrical issues during a long drive and Lupient was able to fit us in. We discussed the problem and they were able to give me a couple solutions right there and sent me on my way. The whole team was kind and considerate of our 8 hour drive the next day and discussed the best course of action. The did a couple of quick fixes to give us the best chance of success. I am really grateful for their kindness and compassion.

I rwaly like this service department. I go there for oil change and they inform me of a few things that need fixed or repkace and tell me they are still under warranty so it will be no charge

The "no appointment" drive-in service for oil changes, rotations is good: I only had to wait about 50 minutes on a Friday afternoon to be completed. Service folks were friendly and attentive: even did some checking and followed up on question I had on Android Auto issue with myChevrolet app (unable to resolve immediately, but at least checked).

The service waiting area is a bit "tired" compared to many dealerships that have upscaled the service experience: small area, no real amenities (besides vending machines that ate $4 of some poor service tech's money), no TV, not the most comfortable furniture.

Price seemed about average and in line with other places: $80 for full synthetic change, which included tire rotation. Included quick car wash, which was nice!

I used to use this dealership pretty regularly for service. However, I once brought in my Silverado truck for a problem with ABS. I asked them if they knew if it was a common problem and they acted like they had no knowledge of such a thing. Cost me about $1,600. Turns out they broke the sensor that commonly gets corroded. There was a service Bulletin on it and a recall that affected most vehicles yet due to their ignorance and mishandling of the sensor, the entire wheel bearing needed to be replaced. The whole operation was much more expensive than it needed to be. According to the service bulletin, you could apply a little lubricant and then sand the area and reassemble. Total parts: None!, materials: Maybe $1 worth of lubricant and sandpaper. But I left there with a very expensive bill. They then completely forgot about the oil change they were supposed to do which was the original reason I stopped in.

First, I'll start with the positive. I knew my Volt needed an oil change, but I was unsure what other services might be needed, as I recently past the 90,000 mileage mark on my odometer. I really appreciated that they took the time to ask the Volt specialist what maintenance services we actually needed instead of upselling me on adding additional services. That was great.

Next, there are a few things that make paying the premium for routine maintenance worth it, and none of them were met. Here are my three misses from my visit:
1. After switching from three season to winter tires (at another tire company), the TPMS alert had been stuck on, even after resetting it. I brought it up when I arrived at Lupient for the oil change, and asked if they could reset the it and make sure that TPMS was working as needed (so no alert message/light). They mentioned that they would reset it, but when I got the car back, the message was still on and remains on. The service notes mention that they checked and set the tires to the proper air pressure, but it is disappointing that they didn't reset sensor so I don't have to keep seeing a faulty alert for my tire pressure.
2. No complimentary car wash after the service, which left me bummed. It is especially nice to get the car wash during the winters and salty roads.
3. This dealership has a level 2 charger, which I think they would use for customer Volts, as long as it's not being used. Here's the thing, either my luck is terrible, or the dealership doesn't make it a priority to let customers use it. Every time I have been there, there is a black Gen 2 Volt parked by the charger using the charger. That wouldn't be an issue, except that every time I have been there, I see that the Volt is setting there fully charged with the solid green indicator light. My guess is that there is an employee at Lupient who uses the charger each day, which I understand. However, it shows a lack of customer service that the black Volt is never moved after it finishes charging to make the space available for other Volts that get serviced at Lupient.

A "dealership" couldn't fix my problem.

I have had many various experiences with Lupient, and the last several have left a sour taste in my mouth. Had my brakes looked at many times, and they kept claiming nothing was wrong, until they failed big time and needed a very expensive repair. Last time I tried to bring my car in the service department was very rude to me over the phone. Sorry to post a negative review after a long history with this place, but I am tired of being treated with disrespect by the service department.

They never answer the phone or call back. Called 5 times in one week and no call back. Will never go back and use.
