The Audiology Center - Dr. Laura Brodsky

I am extremely pleased with Dr. Brodsky. She was prompt (as was I). She was thorough, gave simple directions, and gave me a good explanation of my hearing loss. Also, she took more time with me to answer questions than most doctors do now. I came out of there knowing what caused the hearing loss, the mechanics of it, and the prognosis. She also referred me to an ENT. I would definitely see her again if necessary.

I have discovered over the years that I didn't get very good service. Laura doesn't like to answer your questions without making you feel that you're wasting her time. She gave me a pair of hearing aids and when I asked why she thought this brand was the best for me, she didn't like that I asked. Then later, when I complained that I still can't hear, she said I chose a cheap pair and there wasn't much she could do for me. They also squeal when I listen to music, but all she said was "they shouldn't". Meaning what? That I'm wrong? I just went to another vendor and was amazed at the difference in how thorough the audiologist was and the differnce in the devices. I could finaly hear something.

If I could give a negative number rating I would . This business is unprofessional and not trustworthy.

I originally worked with this company for my 94 year old mother. She wanted an in the ear hearing aid. They said they couldn’t do it and my mom was confused and agreed to the over the ear. I called and cancelled immediately and spoke to the audiologist. She said to try the over the ear and if it didn’t work , then she could order the others. Red flag! They couldn’t order them? Then they could? Hmmm. Anyway. I called back and spoke to someone two weeks ago today . They told me that the audiologist would call back on Monday. They did not call ! Four messages later and still no phone call. Terrible customer service ! Do not use this group ever! Sad that they can’t return a phone call. Shame on them

I called today, here is how it went...”Hello, I would be interested in hearing and learning more about earplugs and monitors for musicians (it’s on your website).” I was placed on hold for about 5 minutes then, Receptionist: “you’ll have to come in and make an appointment.” “But, I just have a few questions....” “I can’t help you, you need to make an appointment...”

Really lady?

Dr. Brodsky sold my aging father his first pair of hearing aids in 2010. We recently found out that they were discontinued in 2007. No discount. Full price. He couldn't hear very well and he was taken advantage of.
