Classic diner food and atmosphere. They're quick with getting your food and coffee and service is great!

I gotta give this place five stars. It's a newer built, nicer establishment with plenty of seating and lighting. I think it is truly family owned and operated. For breakfast the servings were very generous and the price left nothing to complain about. Everything was cooked perfect, and there were like flowers at every table. Service was fine for my table, but I did notice one local walking to the front to ask for more coffee.. maybe just because he's a local? I'll be back until they prove me otherwise, and if they do I'll update this review.

Great little diner with superb food. Fries were cut and cooked fresh as ordered!!!

Stopped in for lunch. Had the vegetable beef soup and haddock sandwich with Mac and cheese. Wow!!!! The soup was absolutely delicious. The fish was nice and crisp and the Mac and cheese was so creamy. The pies looked to die for, but we were stuffed. Will definitely go back.

Stopped in for a late breakfast & we had our food in less than 5 minutes!!!! Hot & delicious, reasonably priced. The homemade bread is delicious. Loved it!

I just felt in love with this place, is just AMAZING. Food is absolutely delicious and the prices are incredible low. Service is wonderful, every single person at the place was welcomed like home. Best hot chocolate and pumpkin pie I've ever had. I'm definitely coming back.

Cook's diner is a great, friendly place to have a really great meal. We have had breakfast and lunch and dinner there and have never had a bad meal. The service is great, everyone is always super friendly. Highly recommend for a homestyle dining experience with a smile.

We are not local and stopped in for lunch based on google reviews. Lunch was quick, plentiful and delicious. Husband and I both had cheeseburger. The service was exceptional, all were attentive and kind. Place was clean. We will come again when traveling.

I love this diner. My family used to stop here when I was young (late 1970s and early 1980s) when we were driving from Malone to Syracuse to visit my grandparents. Food was great. Stopped a couple years ago and food was still very good. I love the small town diner atmosphere. I always wondered how long this restaurant has been here. Probably 1950s or 60s.

Great service. The waitress was quick to take our order and refill our drinks. The food was amazing. I had the turkey club and you can't get a real club like that in the south where I live now....they always put turkey and ham down there...smh

I want everyone to know what Cooks Family Diner, specifically the Waitress did this morning at 1015, on the 20th anniversary of 9/11.

I went to Cooks for the first time today for Breakfast and a little chocolate milk. The service and food were phenomenal. I asked for my bill and the waitress said, "No bill today."
Now I dont ever get emotional, but this was an act of kindness I did not expect. I was shocked. I left the diner and immediatly had to pull over to shed some tears, reflect on everything going on, and try to pull myself together.

I have been personally struggling with the recent issues in Afghanistan, the anniversary of 9/11, and a couple other personal events. Being a Soldier with almost 21 yrs in the Army, 3 combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan immediatly after 9/11, this is a tough time for myself and my fellow soldiers. I am also a police officer and that has been "fun" the last few years.

To the Waitress, I greatly appreciate your kindness. What you did will never be forgotten. I will be dining with you all again very soon.

Please support this Diner and the staff. You will not be disappointed. I cannot express how impressed I am with the Waitress and Diner staff.
