Foster's Homemade Ice Cream

Had to come here to say how much I love this charming little ice cream place! We have been coming here for years and was pleasantly surprised that it has s been lovingly restored and still has that cozy nostalgic feeling! It is one of the only places I can get my soft serveive cream, and my daughter can get her scoop of colorful hard ice cream, and my hubby likes the homemade cookie ice cream sandwiches! This place has been part of our summers for decades and I am happy to see it not only survived covid shut downs but seems it is now thriving!! We need to support these hidden gems!! Thank you Fosters for being part of our summer memories!

They do not accept card so keep cash handy. Great chocolate ice cream and flurry with a really good quantity.

First time here!! We just saw a beautiful sunset and wanted to get top it off with a little ice cream. We were headed to a place near our home but didn’t think we would make it by 10pm. I googled ice cream and Fosters homemade ice cream popped up. What do you know? They’re opened until 11pm - Yea for us!! The staff was friendly and patient - it was tough making our selections! Everything tasted great and I’m sure we will stop in again👍🏼😊

Some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had! Can’t believe I’ve never been here! I got the black raspberry and the pistachio almond and my boyfriend got the cookie dough! Best was the black raspberry!

Great ice cream, that's a food group...right? I don't go for atmosphere, just ice cream. Picnic table & benches, but we sit in the car.

Foster's has absolutely wonderful homemade ice cream with very nice employees. Everyone in our group absolutely loved their choices. Mine was scrumptious chocolate chip! This little place is as good as it ever has been. What else could you ask for on a summer's day?

Great ice-cream! Amazing customer service! What really surprised me was that they have the best sugar free ice-cream flavor! Employees are always helpful with flavor selection and always happy to provide with a sample taste. Unfortunately the store does not have indoor seating but they provide benches outside.

Just visited yesterday for the first time based on the recommendation of a friend. I never would have known that the shop was there, I don't usually drive down the road they are on. So glad we went. The ice cream was good and it was a good portion size too. I like that it's not a corporate place and has a homey feel. I also was glad to see the rules in place for our current pandemic.

Foster’s is not only absolutely delicious, it is a family owned company that cares. New ownership has kept what made Foster’s a must stop on hot summer days and nights, and also gives back to the community that loves it. Donating money and goods to local charities like Connor’s Hope shows the heart is as strong and lovely as the homemade recipes! I love the fresh paint and the new boards that are easy to see and read! I hear Mrs. Foster is delighted about the updates and I’m so glad it is carrying on a loved family tradition. Thank you so much for your care and continued service! I’ll be back with Connor for his favorite of a chocolate malt and a scoop of mint chocolate chip for me!

Favorite ice cream stop since PrettyWife and I were dating way more than a few years ago- still some of the best ice cream in the area!

Always delicious! I love the spruce they did outside and inside. I had not realized the place had changed owners. I just assumed the current ones finally realized it was time for a spruce. You can tell they put a lot of thought in trying to keep the original charm. The new owner was outside picking up the remaining debris from a recently departed baseball team and introduced himself. I am glad to now know he and his wife are local to the area. I always respect an owner that will pick up trash and that “no job is too small” mindset. I have a feeling they’ll encounter some bumps this summer as they get their groove but you can tell they want to serve their community. We will be back way too many times.

Love Fosters!! From the friendly staff to the delicious homemade ice cream. Their soft serve is amazing, very rich and creamy. Plenty of flavors to choose from. I visit them at least once a week. Always delicious, always consistent.

Delicious. Good service. This is a medium pistachio almond in a waffle cone. Lots of almond chunks! Only eating outside, but it was a good summer night for it! Cash or check only, just FYI.

Best Ice cream around. I’ve been coming here since I was a child 25 years later and it still tastes exactly the same!!!! Maple nut is 💯

Loved it is an understatement. Homemade icecream with sip many flavors to choose from. They are cash only but expensive. One scoop was pretty hefty and they let you sample flavors. I'll definitely be back!

If you do not come to Foster's Homemade Ice Cream, you are hands down making the worst decision of your life. The customer service is outstanding and the ice cream is delicious. I would give six stars if I could. Do yourself a favor and try it -- you won't regret it!!!

I am in Ohio with my mama visiting her friends and family; she told me we have to go to Fosters for ice cream while we are here. I got the soft serve pineapple sundae and it was amazing!! The staff was super friendly and the shop was clean. I would highly recommend you check it out; can’t wait for my next trip from Illinois to Ohio!!

A perfect treat!
My friend Chiyoko and I stopped at Foster's for a scoop of ice cream. We wanted a treat after helping my sister Sheelah pack boxes. We were greeted by Ella. Ella has a warm smile and friendly personality. She encouraged us to take our time while making our selection. We ended up with Orange pineapple and the other choice was Black Cherry. The ice cream exceeded our expectations!!

We will drive 20 min to return to Foster's for another scoop of delicious "homemade " ice cream.

Ice cream is the best! You definitely get what you pay for. I only wish there was a dairy free option or sorbet.
