For a touch of nostalgia, we visited Shakey’s Pizza Parlor in Renton today. From the sign, to the pizza and mojo’s it reminded us of childhood visits long ago in our hometowns.

Service was friendly and the place was hopping! We ordered the Garden Veggie Pizza, a full size order of Mojo Potatoes and a 2 piece order of fried chicken. Everything was served hot, crispy and tasty.

It was fun seeing the retro games, full tables and families coming together to celebrate the day. Glad to see that Shakey’s is still a community gathering place!

Hello, I love the Renton location of Shakey’s Pizza ever since I ate there for the first time a few weeks ago. We called Shakey’s pizza to see if they offered gluten free crust before driving there. The person on the phone said yes they do. However, upon driving there we found out they only offer vegetarian pizza, not gluten free. I simply chose to look at things quite optimistically, and did get upset. Immediately began to look over the menu. Saw they had Jojo’s, and asked if they would be able to put pizza toppings over the Jojo’s. The manager said she thought, they would be able to do that. They would just charge us for whatever size pizza we wanted. Quite honestly the best pizza I have eaten in a long time. The friendliness, and great customer service of the staff here is outstanding. Truly quite a great place to eat absolutely great employees here. The pizza is always delicious, and pipping hot. Also if they do make a mistake they are quick to resolve the issues no questions asked. Everything I have typed is my own personal feelings I cannot speak for anyone else who has eaten here.

My wife grew up eating at shakes in the Bay area, I was stoked to find one still here in Washington State.

Love the pizza, the crust is awesome, would eat here often if we lived closer. They close at 830 which is a bummer, but I recommend you seek out this world famous pizza joint

And do some googling on the history of Shakey's Pizza .....it's a wild one

Shakey's has some of the best quality, fast, and relatively cheap pizza in the area. Old timey vibes, are completed with an arcade area for the kids. I ordered a Shakey's Signature pizza with no mushrooms or olives and it was fantastic.
The crust was crispy and perfectly cooked. The pizza was ready in about 10-15 minutes and they even have a dine-in option. Highly recommend!

Its just like I remember from my childhood. Crunchy crust zesty sauce spicy italian sausage black olives and pepperoni. This location is the last in the Seattle area. The staff are friendly and efficient. Like to go back to your childhood they will make it happen for you.

I used to go to the old Shakey's in Renton as a child, I haven't been in probably 30+ years, I got mojos, chicken, garlic cheese bread and a meat lovers pizza, it didn't disappoint!! All of it was fantastic!!! The only thing I missed was the viewing window, the old movies, the huge tables, but the food is fire !!!!

Feels like going to an old pizza place when I was little. I am happy that I can bring my kids to experience what I did. The pizza is also a really good but a little pricey, compared to other places. The place is clean and well maintained. The staff are friendly too.

Wonderful pizza! Really enjoyed our food, service was good, and atmosphere is as always at Shakey's. Nice and clean, too! We will be back once a month when in the area.

Shakey's boasts probably the darkest origin story for the name of a franchise. If you like crippling neurological disorders, then you'll love their pizza and mojos!

After living in Japan, I thought that Shakey's was a Japanese pizza chain. I was delighted to find out there are locations in the US, and that I live close to 1 of 2 locations that exist outside of California. It's also the oldest pizza chain in the US (1954).

The thin crust is great, flavorful sausage, classic Americana feel (it was heartwarming to see the community present after recreational sports, and for a birthday party).

Reasonably priced too. Wife and I split a small pizza (firehouse) with a half order of mojos, and quarter order of cheesy garlic bread. Left feeling full for only $25 sans-tip.

No real complaints on the pizza, appropriate amount of toppings and cheese.

Cheesy garlic bread could use a boost in the 'garlic' department...

The sauce alone is a bit on the mild and sweet side, but I suspect that makes it very appealing for kids. This wasn't an issue because of the basil, tomato, and sausage on our pizza, but I could see a plain pepperoni or cheese pizza landing a bit flat.

The mojos really were fantastic, I would suggest management lean into those a bit more offering some fun sauces for them. (Fry sauce, curry fry sauce, lemon garlic aioli, basil and black pepper = some recommendations). As it is, only ketchup and ranch seemed available.

Overall it is a place that seems to be doing right by the community, has a nostalgic atmosphere, and pretty great food too.

We love Shakeys Pizza. We stopped here on our way back to Astoria. The restaurant was VERY clean and all of the staff were following Covid safety guidelines..
The pizza was awesome and they have the best chicken ever. Not the chicken strips, the golden fried chicken. It tastes like broasted chicken to me which I love, love love. We highly recommend it!

Excellent salad bar, the pizza and wings were yummy and fresh, and the staff were very courteous. It is not the same Shakey's I used to go to as a little girl, but it's still worth going back.

Got the personal pizza combo for one the pizza was alright, the chicken was good with the dips, but the real star was the mojo fries. Crunchy exteriors with soft interiors

This is a blast from the past! I love the thin flaky crust! If this is your type of pizza or your in the mood for a thin crust this is for you. They still have chicken and jo jo’s which I haven’t had in decades, but they sure did smell great while I was there. And to top it all off they had friendly service and multiple 📺 to watch sports!

If you were born before 1989 or if you were born after, you'll enjoy this classic pizzeria. It harkens back to the era before the Internet and smartphones.

Family, fun, conversations and shared meal.

It's nice to know there is still a Shakey's around. Great pizza and if you're not in the mood for that, they have a solid salad bar. The only reason the food only got 4-stars is that my wife insisted on having anchovies on her half of the pizza.

The food here is always fantastic. The crew that runs this place, even though they are young, do an absolutely fabulous job. They are constantly courteous and a lot better cooks and servers than some big name establishments. I've been going here for a few years now and have excellent service every time. If you're looking for a good family-friendly pizzeria with an attached arcade for birthdays, get togethers, and the like, I can't recommend this place more.

They had free Santa pictures being offered the day we went in. Fun atmosphere. My favorite pizza parlor as a kid! Glad there's still one around for my kids.

We have been coming here for years as a family, this most recent visit was terrible, we had to clean our table off, all while a staff member sat at an adjacent table, chatting with another woman, who said the f word every other word. Very disappointed
