Cute lil coffee shop with indoor and outdoor seating. Came in with the sweetie for an afternoon out of the house. Delicious breakfast burritos. Looks like some seasonal items in rotation. The apple cider is tasty! Plenty of non-coffee drinks and a good selection of bakery items. Excellent price to quality ratio.

The barista was very sweet and sold me on the wrapped cookies at the counter, after I found out they were vegan and hesitant to try them. It ended up being one of my favorites.

Love that we have an awesome, local coffee shop in Federal Way. Asensio is the best in the city. The coffee and treats are top-notch and exceptional service. The staff is incredibly kind and always goes the extra mile to make you feel welcome. They're especially wonderful with my kids, which is a huge plus for me as a parent. It's rare to find such a combination of great coffee, cozy ambiance, and genuine hospitality. I can't recommend this place enough!

Delicious! Went there for the first time and got a latte and bagel sandwich. Both awesome 👏 the atmosphere was very friendly and the customers hanging out were kind to each other. Definitely didn’t feel stressed or rushed. 10/10

Lovely owner operated neighborhood coffee shop that can always be relied upon for attentive and friendly service. The breakfast sandwiches are delicious. The pastries look good too although I’ve never given them a try.

Love this cozy cafe! The owners and baristas are always very welcoming and friendly. They make the absolute best almond milk latte! Very good quality coffee used. Also their breakfast sandwiches are delicious, you do need to wait a while for it to warm up in the toaster but its worth it.

This is by far my favorite little coffee shop in Federal Way. The staff are always so nice and the atmosphere is super chill. Their coffee is great, be it a black iced americano or a white coffee white mocha. It's all delicious. Their food is also really good. The avocado toast is bomb and so are the breakfast sandwiches and burritos. Love. This. Place.

Amazing coffee!! Great flavor. A little hot so had to take a couple minutes to cool it down a bit but worth it. Scone was super tasty. Love how it wasn't overly buttery or sweet. Everything was on point!! Baristas and everybody behind the counter were all super friendly and helpful as well!!

I love this little coffee shop. The coffee is good. The food is good. I love their avocado toast, it's super simple and delicious! The people are also super nice who work here. The only downside is that a little small so when it's busy it can feel crowded. But I come here often to study or do work cause there's many outlets to plug in along the window.

I have been coming here gor coffee for a few months now. I like it because there is plenty parking and it is easy to get in and out of.

This coffee shop has a good vibe to it, the staff are friendly, the coffee is really good, and there is a wide selection of food items. I appreciate that they offer vegan cookies, I have a allergy to eggs so I am delighted to find products that are egg free.. There are also a number of pastries, oatmeal,chips. They also carry non food items such as coffee mugs, books about coffee, and other stuff.

Because I have only stopped in on a Sunday while on my way to Church, I have not had the opportunity mingle in their seating area. I plan on doing so in the near future because this is a excellent place to visit with friends and loved ones. I recommend this coffee shop very highly

My friend encouraged me to try Asensio Coffee after raving about their white coffee. We went in for a quick drink before a day of adventure.

It’s funny because I feel like most coffee shops try to stick to a modern aesthetic that appeals to millennials and Gen Z, but this coffee shop had maintained the vibe of the early 2000’s coffee shop. The cafe was busy (in a good way) and the majority of customers were Gen X and older, which has never stood out to me as much as it did here. I truly think it is because they have maintained the familiar cafe feeling of the turn of the century.

Something cool is that the cafe is definitely environmentally and healthy living positive. There were lots of items, prepackaged, and fresh foods for sale, and they boasted of being ethically sourced, organic, compostable, etc. I felt better about my health just being here. As much as I love my sweet, sugary coffees, I felt like I was making a healthy choice being here!

The staff were all very friendly and working quickly. The staff were all moving like a well oiled machine and serving drinks efficiently.

The coffee shop had chalkboard menus and had a rotating seasonal menu.

I ordered an iced white latte with strawberry and vanilla. It was made with real strawberry juice and was so light and sweet! Their white espresso paired with the strawberry tasted more akin to a naturally sweetened pink drink than a syrupy strawberry coffee.

They also sell their coffee beans, which I will definitely have to return for.

Its a very nice place for enjoy whit your friends and family

Walking into Asensio coffee shop is like walking into a cozy livingroom. They are magic with coffee and tea. Their hemp chai tea tastes like velvet. The atmosphere is warm, the staff is amazing and they have a great selection of organic treats. Don't miss it.

This is my favorite local family owned coffee shop. They make excellent coffee at a great price and are very friendly and down to earth people. I’ve been coming here for 8 years and plan to continue in the foreseeable future.

My boyfriend and I love this place! The jalapeno breakfast bagel and scones are our favorite. Their dirty vanilla chai is the best I've had and the staff is always super friendly.

Came into town for a swim meet and this shop was the only place that opened pretty early. Will be back again!

I love this little coffee nook so much! I cannot begin to describe in words how amazing the staff, food, and coffee are but I will try to do it some justice. First, the coffee and food are local as their coffee brand is Poverty Bay coffee (shade grown coffee that is tasty, organic, and very good for you) grown in Washington and roasted in Seattle is as local as it gets. Their food comes from LaBrea Bakery which is also in Seattle and very fresh and tasty! The staff are always smiling and wonderful communicators, as well as providing a warm vibe and local crafted goods like hot pads made from corn with awesome designs. I will always be a loyal customer forever!! Thank you everyone for your high standard of service and dedication to great coffee and an even greater vibe.

This place has very, very good coffee (I always order a drip with no cream or sugar when I try a new coffee place so I can assess the flavor of the bean without alliteration). I also ordered a breakfast burrito, and while it had nowhere near the spices I'm accustomed to, it was packed with smoked bacon that gave it all the flavor I needed. If you live in the area, or are just passing by and haven't given the place a try. I highly recommend.

When my wife and I first moved to the PNW we were looking for a good small coffee shop. I know there aren't many coffee shops out here so we were surprised to find one so near our apartment! All joking aside we love Asensio, they take great care of their customers, they make delicious coffee, you can earn and redeem points on the Joe Coffee app, and did I mention the coffee is great? I would highly recommend the spiced double dirty chai latte but all of their drinks are wonderful! Please stop by and support their business! Bonus points: If you come in the late morning/early afternoon you can usually listen in to the group of regulars talking about interesting world events and theories!
