Kiteworld

Was in a bind on my travels and did not bring my large lifter pilot kite. Kiteworld came to the rescue and bailed me out with some special vintage stock. Very courteous and accommodating owners!

What a wonderful place for anybody that enjoys kites! We just moved to Sebastian and brought some of my favorite delta/fighter kites from Maine. All three needed parts and Lisa, the owner and packing two babies due in March, was amazing with her knowledge and "can do " attitude. Two out of three are ready to fly and she gave me contact info so I can get a lower spreader for my largest Delta. Call first but make the trip if you want to buy a kite or get parts. Thanks Lisa, you are a sweetheart!

Preface. Well, covid sucks. As you all know shipments all around the US are delayed putting a Huge strain on Ma and pop retail. The big corps can get ahead of the fiasco but ma pops struggle with Maintaining stock in 2021. 😔. With that said. I went to kiteworld to purchase a kite they showed “in stock” on their website. Fortunately and Unfortunately, Their stock is a little behind thanks to the covid and because they aren’t a major corporation so they didn’t really have what I was initially looking

The good.. and why they deserve 5 stars. Brian and Lisa made sure I walked out of their establishment with a somewhat vintage kite (not used, just vintage and boutique) that suited my needs (desires) at a great price. Poor Brian worked with me for two hours trying to piece together this kite with a smile on face the entire time. I felt terribly guilty yet impressed by his dedication and couldn’t leave without purchasing something. I’m more than happy with my purchase and the service. The kite flies great with after market fittings and I can’t wait to tune it to my liking. I will definitely be looking to Kiteworld for my next stunt kite purchase. Great people and service and this kite is F king cool. Thanks Brian and Lisa.

She cheerfully fielded the questions and conversations of my kids swarming through her shop as they picked out their kites. Sharing her enthusiasm for flying kites, she made that experience great for them!

I came in to her shop with a pretty strong idea of what I wanted to put up into the sky. I had been doing a lot of research online and had a good idea of what I needed and how much it would cost. I was thinking "I need a big parafoil lifter and a bunch of line laundry to get the movement and uniqueness that I want up in the air. In the course of our conversation, Lisa took my ideas and presented me with several solutions (at competitive prices) one of which was the parafoil, line and line laundry I was originally contemplating and another option was the beautiful, elegant spinning box kite that I eventually wound up buying. It is exactly what I wanted and needed for this trip!!

I am stilling going to buy the big para foil and line laundry from her because later I am going to want to lift up my gopro and I know she will work with me to make sure I have everything need to actually do what I want.

Amazing people. Super helpful and knowledgeable. Showed them a kite we were looking at and the owner said he had that kite at home and his wife brought it to the store and we bought it 10 minutes later. Amazing small business!

Haven't flown a kite since middle school, found kiteworld online and I feel like a kid again, bought 2 kites and the wife and myself had a blast, support your local family run business, definitely check them out

Great shop! The owner took time with my son find the right kite, set up his new sport kite and show him how to fly it. Great experience

I took over the shop and it is a self dog wash k9000 machine which is amazing.

Learn to care about the community's health and read some scientific journals. I’m tired of seeing people that don’t care about the well-being of everyone in this once beautiful city. Wearing a piece of cloth over your face isn’t a big deal and it is not a political stunt. Shop looks like a mess but I couldn’t check it out because they don’t know how to update a web page with their current hours. Happy holidays.

Had no inventory or equipment for kites only thing they had in supply was kiddie kites you can buy at walmart had plenty of yard socks though just a huge disappoint
