Long John Silver's | A&W

I guess it's all in the timing. We got there about 1:30 pm on a Saturday. Took less than 5 minutes from us ordering our food until we were eating.
The food was good and the folks working there were super nice and efficient.
They had a girl constantly cleaning the dining area, and she was friendly also.
The place obviously is an older building but they kept it perfectly clean from what we saw.
Would I eat there again? Definitely!
Would I recommend it? Yes!

We dined in. I'm glad this location is open for dine in. The ocala one is not. It's nice to enjoy it while its fresh. The food was cooked well and tasted fresh. The A&W freeze shake was delicious. I would come back to this location again. I had a good experience

It was delicious. The smell was intoxicating and lured me in! I think the family meal with 8 fish planks would have been a better value though. (Next time springing for that!)

The cashier Billy was so nice and sweet. It takes a few to get food so it's fresh. Not like Mc'd or BK. The burger was juicy

AMAZING meal!! This place is so nostalgic-we were so sad they closed the one on US-19 in Port Richey, so we decided to try out this location in Spring Hill. We ordered a family platter, and it was SO fresh, hot, and DELISH!! Thank you to everyone working at this location and keeping the LJS name alive and well! :)

Food better than expected. Fast and helpful service. They seemed a bit grumpy for a store that really wasn't busy at all, but they were pleasant enough when talking to me so whatever

What a refreshing experience coming here today, it’s not everyday these days you receive Quality customer service especially with a smile and and kindness most of the time you go to a fast food restaurant they get irritated and they’re just plain rude to you but today my experience with Chris was unforgettable he was kind had a smile patient apologetic for the weight it genuinely was an amazing experience I will be sure to come back when I am up this way in the future and I would even drive just for that service as long as Chris was working thank you Chris for making our experience pleasant and cheerful you put a smile on my face

Ordered the COD Dinners and I'll tell you I was very impressed. Two large pieces of COD and lots of fries and a very healthy portion of coleslaw. Best tasting fish I have had in years! Came away full and happy! We will return :-)

LJS is a one of my guilty pleasures. This location has always been fresh and tasty. I don't live in the area but I make it a point to stop in when I am visiting. If I could critique one thing it'd be the miscommunication at the drive through window. The last 3 visits I told the first girl taking my money that I'd like malt vinegar and salt and pepper. A 2nd girl brings the food to the window without adding the vinegar and salt and pepper. I'll keep coming back regardless.

Fast service, these woman know how to cook the best Long John's food I've had in a long time. It's fresh, and with large portions as well.

The Long John's onion rings are the absolute best. I go there just for that.

I know what she of you are thinking. Why would anyone give this place a five star review? Well, I could easily complain that the lobby was closed, the line at the drive thru was ridiculously long, and the wait to get my food took a little bit longer than usual for a fast food joint. It was what they did right that gets them this review. First off, even though they were seriously understaffed, things steadily moved along. Additionally, when I did get my food, it was, in my opinion based on the heat coming off the bag, fresh out of the fryer. The last who took my order was very pleasant on the speaker, double checking what I had ordered. At the window, she was very courteous and cheerful. Even though only 2 people were working, and drive thru was slam packed. Hot food, accurate order, friendly attitude, and courteous staff. This, they get five stars, because frankly, I would have been snarling at people at that point.

This was our first visit to this location. I read the negative reviews and almost did not go. However, my husband stopped and and got a carry out order (Tuesday October 23, 2018). The young woman who took his order was efficient and pleasant and even helped with extra napkins. The 2 fish dinners were perfect AND delicious. Perfectly prepared fish - firm and delicious fish and crispy, flavorful crust! Not overdone as at other restaurants. Hush puppies cooked well and had great flavor - not bland. And I loved the slaw! So sorry for the bad reviews and those who had negative experience. We were VERY pleased and will return! On a fixed income, we don’t eat out a lot and this is an excellent change from burgers at a VERY affordable price. 👍👍👍👍👍 for food, price and service!

Love this place! I've always been a huge fan of the batter they use to fry their chicken, this location has very friendly staff which is refreshing! I might be spelling her name completely wrong but Audria or Andria was her name! She is always very sweet and bubbly! A delight to see when I go there!

Did drive through this time although we have gone in on several occasions we love Long John silver's their prices are good. But he's always very friendly the food comes out quickly.

We have always loved fish no matter where we go. Our local Long John's was top of our list for so many yrs., but eventually went downhill and fast in the last 10yrs. It was sold. Employees had really bad attitudes towards customers and were ALWAYS screwing up our orders. Many times we did not know that our order had been 'shorted' a couple of items...or even a whole platter on our order, until we got it all the way home, (12 miles away). So we were forced to go back in order to feed everyone. This is where the employees would turn rude, and snarky towards us. So we stopped going completely. Plus the food tasted really old as if it had been sitting around then reheated. Ugh!
ALL this to say, that a new Christian owner came along 2/3 yrs ago a bought it, and REALLY cleaned house. I had a long talk with him when he called me, about the decline of his store. He wanted as much information as he could get. He apologized all over the place for the employees bad attitudes, and assured me that he would be starting over with a new crew...and that's exactly what he did. All he asked in turn was to get our business again. So we have since returned as regular customers about every 7 to 10 days. And boy, what a difference. Service with a smile all the way. Food is 200% better...always fresh. Fish, chicken, fries/hush puppies are always piping hot. Restaurant is always clean. Now I can NOT say enough good things about our Spring Hill, FL store. GREAT FOOD, and EXCELLENT SERVICE !! ☆☆☆☆☆

I sometimes go here with my dad before boy scouts on Tuesday. And everybody is just so nice, I got a free root beer float for doing them a favor. I love this place!

I screwed up my order at the Drive thru during lunch hour, my fault, Well, When I got up the window, I was lucky enough to get Rena at the window. Rena was poliite, gracious, and quickly fixed my order in a timely manner. I mean they were busy and Rena's performance was nothing but great. Thanks Rena! Ps. Sorry for the confusion.
