Our 10 year old son went to another private Christian school in town for five years. We had considered CCA when he was 4, but went to the other school because it was larger and has a beautiful campus. When our daughter was kindergarten age, we began thinking again about CCA. After touring the school again and going to an enrollment event, we decided that we needed to try CCA for both of our children. AND WE ARE SO HAPPY THAT WE DID! We couldn't ask for a more challenging and nurturing environment for our children. Our son, who is in 4th grade, has learned so much - about subjects that he would not have learned about in his other school or in public school in 4th grade - subjects like Latin, medieval history, and chemistry. He has always loved reading, but now he reads with his class and gets to discuss the books, which he thoroughly enjoys. He is learning how to critically think about things. He's memorizing poetry and learning about art. The education he is receiving has such depth that it amazes us all the time. The same goes for our daughter who is in kindergarten. We love her teacher Ms. Baumann and are so appreciative of the foundation she is getting for her future education. She was reading when she started school, but her reading ability skyrocketed after learning her phonograms. The kindergarteners are also challenged, and they rise to the occasion. They have spelling tests and have to speak a great deal in front of their friends. Our daughter can now recite the Lord's Prayer in Latin. The children are taught that neatness counts and to take pride in their work. And they do! They are taught how important good character is. They are taught to be dignified and how to behave appropriately. They are taught respect for others. CCA is a place where kindness and encouragement between the students is commonplace. We have loved every day that our family has been a part of the school. It is an incredibly special place - a place we wish we would have started in sooner. We would recommend it to any parent who is looking for a challenging and rewarding educational experience for his or her child and a place where the child will grow both spiritually and emotionally.

I cannot begin to express how grateful I am to have my daughter at CCA. They have exceeded any expectation I may have had. The education is advanced and unparalleled. They incorporate Christ and scripture in every aspect of this school. The faculty, teachers and leadership are truly spirit led and love our children. In kindergarten my daughter memorized Luke chapter 2 for the Christmas play. God's Word is alive and active and our children are memorizing it daily. Her teachers even incorporate Christ in math! They pray for our children. My daughter is learning Latin in the first grade! They are taught the biblical world view in every single subject. My daughter is flourishing in this loving and healthy environment! I pray they go all the way to high school. CCA is priceless!

Being a single parent of 4 children and unable to homeschool as we did in earlier years, CCA is a school I trust my kids are safe and getting a rigorous education much like when I was able to homeschool. This is the fifth year at CCA with a hiatus in between when I was able to homeschool again as before for a few years. I am also confident that the Word of God and godly morals are taught alongside their academic education. The teachers and staff genuinely care about the well-being of my children along with their education. For all these reasons and more, CCA is the best school to meet the needs of my family.

Christ Classical Academy is a community that loves and supports our family. We are in our 5th year at CCA and we continue to be amazed and blessed by the teachers, administration, and families. The most important thing we were searching for in a school was a Christ centered environment. At CCA we know our children's hearts are being nurtured. What we didn't realize was how outstanding the classical method of teaching would be. Grammar school is filled with songs, recitation, and fun games to help memorize. We are blown away by their use of Latin and phonograms and how they so easily memorize poems and scriptures as part of the curriculum. We have LOVED every single teacher we have had. We know our children are being equipped spiritually and academically with the armor of God to be a light in the world. CCA has been a blessing to our family and we love to share what God has done in our lives through this school.

We love CCA! My children have been there since kindergarten. Such a warm, welcoming, family environment that shares the love of Christ with their students of all ages. They have been challenged academically in a loving and caring way. 5 stars!

Very loving environment. The teachers are great and very patient. Two of our kids go to this school and the third one, God's willing, will be going when is time. I have been amazed by the teaching methods and how much the kids love going to this school. Everyday, including weekends, they ask to go to school. We have been blessed with this school. The kids love it and they are learning a lot. The class size is small which makes it very conductive to learning. I can only say good things about this school.

We’ve been at CCA for 5 years and have LOVED being there! My oldest spent 2 years at the public school we were zoned for and we just weren’t happy there. If you are reading google reviews to determine if Christ Classical Academy would be a good option for your child(ren) then I would recommend stopping by the school office and asking for a tour. I’d also recommend talking with parents (usually before and after school you can catch parents) to get their opinion of the school and to ask questions that you have. CCA isn’t a school for everyone but honestly what school is?

The process of researching for a school for our 4 year-old daughter took quite some time as we had somewhat homeschooled her for the first years of her life and, as educators, we had very high expectations. After visiting various schools, we decided to enroll our daughter at Christ Classical Academy.

Our child’s time at Christ Classical Academy has been very positive and reaffirms that we made the right choice for her. This is her first year in Pre-K4 and her first experience in a classroom setting. She has thrived in the nurturing and caring environment that CCA offers. The small class sizes, engaged teachers and staff and individualized approach to the curriculum provide the best learning environment for our child.

The small class size allows our teacher to meet the students where they are and adapt portions of the day to aid each child in developing foundational skills and emotional control. Instruction is both group-based and individualized to support students’ transition to school and help them grow as young learners.

Our daughter’s teacher is such a blessing in our lives. She has helped our daughter to develop emotionally and cognitively this year. She has formed a wonderful bond with our daughter based on trust and respect. Her approach with our daughter is balanced: direct, firm and encouraging. She takes the same approach with each child in the class. The result is a structured learning environment that our child enjoys and excels in.

The teachers and staff at CCA supplement our teaching and discipline at home. They work closely with us – sending home daily communication about our daughter’s work progress and behavior. They’ve been so supportive of our family and daughter during this year of transition to school. Our daughter missing her teachers and friends during weekends and holidays is a testament to the environment fostered at CCA.

We have truly appreciated the teaching, structure and support provided by CCA for our child. We look forward to our future in this wonderful school.

This school used to be Seven Hills Academy. But when I was enrolled here, it used to be Atlantis Academy. My parents enrolled me in this school after Griffin Middle School proved to be too stressful for me.

I love the godly world view that is taught at this school. The classes are small so each child gets more individualized attention than at a public school.

Before enrolling your child at CCA, please be sure to think twice about the place. If your child is already in that school, pay very close attention to your child’s behavior, it may be telling you something. Our 4 year-old daughter who’s turning 5 in 2 months, was accused of lying several times, she was cornered to answer to things she did not do. During a meeting, her teacher actually said, “…and when cornered, she cried with remorse and I believed her then”. We took her out immediately. She was always terrified to go to school. We're still helping to get her confidence back. They hurt our baby emotionally. We’re constantly praying with her and reassure her that we love, believe and trust her. It's so bad that even if she happens to drop her food on the floor at home, she cries intensely and asks us to please believe that she didn't do it on purpose. Attending that school was the BIGGEST mistake we made. It was only a month and it felt like it was already half way through the year. There were many comments about our child that were unacceptable. There are things that were said that we did not put in this post. We’re leaving them in the hands of The Almighty God and we pray that no one else ever have to go through what our daughter endured. Imagine how many other parents walked away from CCA and didn't even leave a comment? Comments about real issues that happened there to cause them to leave. We wish someone had done that; it would have been very helpful. We hope this comment help you with your decision. Thanks.

Before making a decision on enrolling your child into this environment please check everything out. Justin Hughes, Head of School, by no means has the experience needed to run the school. Previous years Kindergarten always had graduation with cap and gown, but this year Justin Hughes said he never heard of Kindergarten having graduation. Justin Hughes was Head of School last year and YES there was a Kindergarten graduation. Is Justin Hughes starting to get dementia? Is Justin Hughes only there as Head of School to make things his way. Mark my word, if a high school is not started next year at CCA Justin Hughes will be gone back to Pensacola area where he came from since his child will not be in school here in Tallahassee. Justin Hughes doesn't back up students and parents needs. All Justin Hughes sees is $$$$$$$$ and anyone that doesn't have $$$$$$$$$$ he ignores and doesn't want at the school. Justin Hughes your best bet is to move back to Pensacola, many don't want you here at CCA!
