I was with Best Insurance Agency and they signed me up with Auto–Owners Insurance. I had my truck and several rentals with them. After 6+ yrs of paying their premiums my Shower Diverter started to leak IN THE WALL and leaked into the crawl space under the house. It was not visible until it reached the carpeted area. Nobody knows how long it leaked into the crawl area but they said it had to be more than a week so they would not cover the damage. What is insurance for if not to cover the unexpected things that might happen to your home. I will never use them nor will I ever recommend them to anyone. My agency knew they would not cover it, so I left them too. I would not recommend Best Insurance Agency or Auto-Owners Insurance to anyone.

They send out unlicensed adjusters to make coverage decisions that have no right being in the field they are in. The adjuster was sent out to look at a roof claim, has to borrow my ladder as a contractor there meeting with the adjuster for the homeowner. Dustin Taylor immediately referred to everything as mechanical, not having any basis for doing so

Talked more about his “critter catching days” than he did about his actual job. I’d give them a 0 if I could

Their insured client ran into me at an intersection and admitted it to the police officer. For three weeks I have been paying out of pocket for rentals. I received a letter today stating that they have been trying to reach me and I have a limited time to contact them about my claim. They never called. I had to have a lawyer contact them two weeks ago. They are shady and try to get out of paying. You have to stay on top of them. Send a letter certified mail, whatever you need to do.

This place gets 0 ZERO, NO stars from me, if I had my say. I have been thoroughly disappointed with the lack of action on my claim. I have left countless messages, including to the supervisor and have gotten NO responses in almost 2 weeks. Their insured client rear-ended me over a month ago, and got the ticket stating they are at fault. I have had pain, suffering and loss of time at work due to this accident and they are NOT stepping up as the responsible party. I would NEVER RECOMMEND this company. Pray you are never hit by someone with this insurance. This must be the lowest quality rated insurance available. I am calling corporate tomorrow. Hopefully, they will honor their responsibility and quit avoiding it. Next step is a lawsuit.

Claims adjuster Cassidy Shorkey gave a retail price when my vehicle was going to be repaired at 68% and then when additional items found she offered 2000 less at wholesale price, which the state insurance department allows them to do. But guess what, us folks can’t buy at wholesale price.

0 stars if I could my agent claimed I had to file a crash on my insurance making my rate go from 230 to 450 however the other driver was at fault as the police report stated they were on their phone! Terrible service would never recommend
