Just enjoyed an amazing dinner. We are from Fayette county and we’re in the city here for something and decided to take a chance. And so glad we did. Very authentic and not generic Mexican food. So no Queso dip here. You get the real homemade authentic meal. Definitely give them a try!

Good authentic Mexican food.
I ordered just tacos of barbacoa and carne asada. The carne asada were good, the barbacoa are so so.
Chiles rellenos for my daughter and they were ok.
Menu is very limmited, that's why I ordered just tacos.
Overall a good place, menu needs a lot of improvement.
No diet drinks, that's a big fault.

I came after a friend recommended the food. I have to say, I am impressed! Great service, really well priced, and the food is delicious! The birria is truly authentic. I love the atmosphere as well. The jarritos for the drinks and the plates are beautiful and give the place the aesthetic that you want when eating Mexican food. Will definitely return soon!

Good food. My favorite is the shrimp hard shell taco 🌮. The melted cheese is gooey s f hot just how I love it.

Everything we had was flavorful and an amazing value. The quesadillas were gorgeous blue corn beauties filled with cheese and chorizo or squash.

The tortillas served with the melt-in-your-mouth barbacoa were light and pliable, and the salsas were diverse -- ranging from a mild chunky tomatillo, to an earthy dried chili salsa and a spicy habanero.

Everything was served on earthenware, which made everything feel incredibly authentic.

This is one of my new favorite places!

Great food! Purple corn tortillas. Prices are not off the charts. Spice level on salsas/sauces is not for those who can't handle spice.

Take it from this white guy, GO HERE! Don’t let the Spanish menu keep you from enjoying the most authentic Mexican street tacos this side of the Rio Grande. Fresh ingredients are the fuel of this simple menu. Do yourself a favor and choose what ever the special of the day is.

From someone who used to live in San Diego, CA for many years, this is some of the best Mexican food I have ever had. If you want texmex, this is not the place. The food is authentic. I felt like I was walking into my best friend's house (from Mexico). The food tasted just like hers and her mom's. I've never experienced such authentic Mexican food at any restaurant (even from CA). It was sad to see that the place was empty, which the only thing my husband and I could understand is that most ppl from the area are not used to authentic Mexican food. They also had the cleanest public high chair I've ever used for my daughter. Highly recommend!!

I really enjoy the food “Hidalgo style “ tortillas fresh made! Food perfect on temperature and Taste! The service was excellent my waitress was so patient because we couldn’t decided what to order, atmosphere was good. I recommend this place. 💯💯

This is the cleanest restaurant I have ever seen. The food was great. We ordered the chilaquiles and enchilada verdes. Best chilaquiles I've ever had. The enchiladas were delicious. Food is served on warm ceramic plates and drinks are served in clay cups. The restaurant is decorated wonderfully and quirky. Our toddler daughter kept asking for more.

There are a lot of puzzling reviews on this place speaking about bad food, a mean hostess, and high prices. If you think this place is overpriced, you're crazy. The hostess was very kind to us. And the food was great.

The borrego and steak was delicious, the tortillas were homemade and the salsa were delicious and the rice was as well!! We walked in at 7:30 they close at 8 but we're still pleasant and did not make us feel like a burden!

This was our first time dinning here. Everything was AMAZING food and service. We ordered several things to taste, 2 Gorditas- steak and Chicken, we also ordered steak,chicken,lamb and pork tacos. They make fresh blue corn tortillas yum! Everything tasted fresh and seasoned perfectly.

Loved it! Service was great! Staff was super friendly food tasted great.
