We were out walking Marietta square looking for a good restaurant…We came across heaven!!! My husband enjoined a waffle and sausage which he said was delicious! I had the tomato basil soup, the chicken salad sandwich and a side of sliced apples! I can’t say enough about how delicious it was! FANTASTIC. The service was excellent and on point. This is my new favorite place. We even loved sitting outside. Thanks for a delightful meal.

GREAT FOOD and even BETTER service. Third time coming to eat breakfast here and second time being waited on by Michael. He is friendly and attentive. Food came out quick on a busy Sunday morning and was tasteful. Small restaurant but definitely worth the wait. More than just a pastry shop, great breakfast and lunch selection.

We love their French toast. Waffles are pretty good too. Love their chicken panini with fries. Hands down best fries!!!
They get super busy, so make sure to come early. Lunch gets very packed.

If you are thinking of a perfect place to go after a workout, before you go into the office or just a nice stroll through Marietta Square this place is where you want to be. And if the weather permits sit outside and enjoy the beautiful scenery that the square has to offer. The service was warm and friendly. I had the croissant with ham, egg & cheese, fresh fruit and potatoes. The croissant was nice and buttery and very delicious. Yummy!

Always a treat when visiting Sugar Cakes! Food never disappoints and the staff is always friendly. Got to try the Creme Brulee French toast 😋 with a side of eggs and bacon. Fruit wasn't fresh unfortunately, however I switched it out for the potatoes. My friend had a veggie omlette with cheese grits. Delicious and never felt rushed to leave, since they were so busy. Was also able to snap a picture of a super cute cake they made. Oh and I can't forget their butter croissants are so delicious. My daughter loves them. Stop in if ever in the area.

Their French classic breakfast is delicious. Worth every bite. Bacon, eggs, roasted tomato, potatoes, and a croissant. So yummy.

Had a marvelous breakfast here with the fiancée; fantastic food for a reasonable price!! Staff were attentive and personable, food exceeded expectations, coffee unique (in a good way!), and the 🥐 was to die for! Certainly we would consider doing breakfast here again!

Unlike most places you go for brunch on Sundays, we had no wait. We had a great server (Felicia). I had the Brioche breakfast sandwich and it was good, but my wife had the ham, egg, and cheese croissant, and she said it was amazing. Price was good. Downside was we traded a wait time for sitting in the hallway, near the bathrooms. Did I mention that Felicia, our server was great?? The view from our little corner of the world was not great, but it was still good enough to keep us entertained.

Went here for brunch on a Sunday at around 11:30. It actually wasn’t too crowded when we got there, probably because it was earlier and raining at the time. It got busier at around 12.

We sat at a duo table which was really small but most of their tables are square and larger. Service was fine, we didn’t get checked up on once after we ordered though but it was no biggie.

I ordered the waffles that came with a side of bacon, fruit, and syrup. In the picture you’ll see whipped cream but it doesn’t come with the waffles, I asked for it. The waffles themselves were AMAZING and soooo soft. My friend ordered a panini sandwich and fries that she thought was great.

Each person was about 15-17 dollars, not the most expensive but also not the cheapest considering the portions. However I would definitely come back here and the food was great!

Got great service here even though they were so busy. Loved the food, would love to go back and try out more things from the menu. I love seafood so they have a seafood omelette which will be my choice next time. I ordered French Toast and scrambled eggs. Both were really good. Loved the coffee as well however they have fancier coffees as well if that’s what you like.

Prices are reasonable as well. I didn’t get a chance to check if they offer free WiFi or not but will have to do that next time. Host and waiter both were awesome. Actually all the wait staff I noticed in there was nice and very energetic.

The creme brulee French toast is always a delight. A gentle crust with a unique flavor coupled with fresh fruit for less than $8!

Great little restaurant, we had the chicken salad, and mushroom quiche.
Coffee was fresh roast, even though it was busy, I think we had adequate service.
Seems most dishes come with a salad, but I like salad so that’s a plus.

We arrived at 1:15pm and did not realize they close at 2pm. The food was great, but we definitely felt rushed. We were finishing up our meal and at 2:13 pm we were told we’re closed now and essentially felt pushed out the door. I can understand not serving past 2pm, but customers should be allowed a few extra minutes to finish their meal once it is served. They have some outdoor seating available, but we are inside because it was raining. There is no parking available with the restaurant. You need to park anywhere along the square or in a paid parking garage or lot. The place was only half full, but it was still quite loud because of how sound bounces off the hard surfaces. I would recommend for the food, but caution on parking snd timing considerations.

The best chicken salad croissant! They bake the croissants in house and they are delicious, big and flaky and a big helping of chicken salad. What a sandwich. Super nice wait staff.

Really cute breakfast spot. Bit of a wait on a Saturday AM, but there was a cute farmers market to kill some time at. The sauce and potatoes were soooo good. A little surprised they didn't have turkey sausage or turkey bacon, but they do have grilled chicken and regular turkey as options.

I've only ever had the country breakfast, delivered to my house. It was delicious! The prices are fairly reasonable, for the amount of food you receive. The interactions I've had on the phone with employees have always been very pleasant. I look forward to experiencing dinning in with them.
