Australian Bakery Cafe

Best word to describe this cafe is indeed: cute. Everything is lovely inside - interior and staff. Really good savory and rich breakfast/lunch choices. A lot of pies. And super reasonable prices.
Would def recommend for a breakfast in Marietta!

First time trying this place. Absolutely awesome! Bakery and little grocery story of Australian goods. They do lunch and breakfast. The food is amazing. Lots of pastries and goodies to choose from that it was hard to decide. It can get busy, so get there early for lunch! I got a breakfast wrap with potatoes. So, so good! My date loved his omelet. Prices are very reasonable. Very inviting, comfy, and happy atmosphere. Staff were super friendly. All the food is freshly made on site same day. So good! Highly recommend!

We've been here a few times and always walked away impressed, full, and happy. Our very picky kiddos love it too. The breakfast wraps are amazing. Make sure you get some hashbrowns!

What a cute and unique place!!! Very happy to have stumbled upon it. Staff was super friendly and lamb curry pie was yummy. The savory pastries come w fresh chips (crisps to you English lot). Lots of things to see inside the store and atmosphere is true to its name, very Aussie lol will be back for more pastries and need to take some sausage home to cook !

Uhm.. yumm!!! My only complaint was the staff was so friendly and chatty and I’m a bit antisocial, but that’s hardly a complaint!! 😂😂 The food was sooo good and honestly really well priced! Love this place, definitely would come again!

It's been several years since I've eaten here, but I loved my experience. The vast selection of meat pies and sweets to select from guarantees that you'll be making repeat visits. Buttery, flakey pie crust with warm, savory fillings make each bite a delight.

The food "feels" and tastes authentic, with a home-crafted purity that makes supporting the bakery a pleasure. (I just wish I lived closer so that I could take lunch here more often!)

This place is great! You will be going back once you have found this hidden treasure!! Nev the owner is such a quality, hard working guy!!

Wonderful lunch on the square in Marietta. Lovely day to sit outside and enjoy a pastie from this shop. My burgundy beef had a tender light crust with sesame seeds and poppy seeds on the top crust, great flavor. My husband had the steak, cheese and bacon pastie and it was also a great choice. Both served with homemade chips that were seasoned nicely, but would have been a knockout if they were fresh from the toaster.

Growing up in South Africa there were pie shops all over...having this bakery hits the spot..

Visited during the Christmas Tree lighting. I was so cold. They had the best hot chocolate ever. Very warm and inviting atmosphere. I loved how the daughter who seems about 12 was helping at the register with customers. Very family oriented. I will be back to try the pot Pies and pastries.

This Aussie bakery has my kiwi seal of approval. The Ned Kelly pie contains a whole entire egg and is absolutely hearty and delicious. 🇦🇺🇳🇿

Great food, fair prices, kind employees. One of them actually climbed up high and trapped a wasp that had flown in near our window table because she didn’t want it to sting someone. We hadn’t even seen it- she just proactively solved the problem. It made us feel like we were in good hands. :-)

Absolutely love this place. Neville is an absolute legend and the staff is so friendly. Yes it’s expensive but unfortunately so is everything else. Food is always great

This place is amazing. The customer service is great! You have to try the scrambled eggs are the best and those potatoes are out of the world.

Just delightful and delicious. Pastry on the steak and onion pie and the Cornish pasty was flaky and soft. Delicious seasonings and simple ingredients. YUM.

I have been coming to Australian bakery for years. I love the food, especially the meat pies. Today I had an Italian sandwich and potato soup, which were great. The service was great and friendly.

My Mom and I got Cornish and veggie pasties and they were delicious! Flaky pastry, good seasonings, filling meal. The atmosphere is fun, lots of Aussie pride, and a tiny "market" of good from down under. Not a lot of seating (or parking around the square, depending on what time you go). The service was super friendly. Definitely will be back!

Delicious savory Australian pies - we had the chicken pie and the lamb curry pies and they were both perfect with flaky crust and flavorful fillings. Their chips are homemade and amazing, they make them with a garlic Parmesan seasoning that is delicious.

They have an extensive dessert selection with some unique Australian baked goods, I recommend their Lamington cakes (light sponge cake coated with a hint of chocolate and dusted with coconut) and their Anzac cookies (kind of like an oatmeal cookie). They also had a dessert called a "Hedgehog" which is a bit like a brownie with fudge on top and cookie dough bits on the inside - delicious.

The shop itself is small and parking around the shop is difficult, but this unassuming restaurant is a real gem.

This is more of a bakery than a restaurant, but the fish and chips are surprisingly good, and the breakfast rolls are _amazing_. We also like to get trays of meat pies to reheat for the holidays.

The BEST meat pies and sausage rolls I’ve had in the U.S! Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a taste of Australia or if you’re an expat like myself and want a good pie / sausage roll. The lamingtons were also delicious. I’ll be coming back here whenever I’m in the Atlanta area!
