Spring Restaurant

Got a last minute, late reservation for 4. It was my friend’s birthday - almost came here without him when I saw reservations open, but he really wanted to try this place out with us. We ordered and ate pretty much everything on menu. All 3 main course were nicely divided up and plated separately for each of us. The tables were wiped down after every plate was finished and removed, paired with a clean set of utensils for the next course. Truly exceptional service. The food was also a highlight to the evening - we cleaned off every plate!

We always have the best experience at Spring. Tonight was no exception. The food is amazing, beautiful presentation and wonderful flavors. Service was above and beyond. Spring is one of our favorite restaurants in the Atlanta area. We can’t wait to go back again.

Spring is a very special restaurant. If you eat at Spring, I HIGHLY recommend you do the wine pairing. The servers do and unbelievable job at presenting and explaining each wine and why they paired it with the dish. They even bring each bottle out for you to look at while you eat that dish. My wife and I have eaten all over Atlanta and I can truly say that no restaurant compares to the quality and experience of Spring (and they do it in the most non pretentious way possible). (Ahi, prawn, endive salad, mushroom and gnocchi, fluke (fish), braise beef short rib and flak steak, banana ice cream, sorbet, and pie)

I made a dessert reservation for my bf, Scott and he was treated like the VIP Scott truly is. 😉 Scott is in the middle of redesigning the restaurant and I'm so excited to see the final outcome. They just need a bit more room to handle the crazy amount of business they are getting. Ultra fine dining cuisine with deep understanding of wine and pairings. Overall, I'd say I'm a decent girlfriend for the surprise. 😇
Definitely make a trip when you want to experience one of the best on the square.

It was definitely a great experience! Food and service were almost perfect. I read previous reviews that complained about the food being bland. Not sure where that came from. Nothing was bland. The shrimp app was served hot with spices and then contrasted with cold and refreshing flavored sauce. Almost a FU to bland. Chef must have been reading reviews. We had grouper and chicken for the mains. They were very good and salted just right. I hate when dishes are not finish salted. I love fish, but I was thinking the chicken was the star. Don't skip desert. Especially if they have a dish with butter ice cream. It was fantastic. Only issues were that the place is small with no cocktails. But the beer selection was OK, and the wine was thoughtfully selected.

I was super excited to come here based on the reviews and some recommendations. I am very adventurous when it comes to trying new foods but I was initially intimidated by the limited menu. I eventually moved past that and had an unforgettable experience. The building was small but romantic and quaint. The service and food was outstanding. I would talk about the food but I will let the pictures do the talking. I will definitely be returning! A+A+A+

We had to reserve our table in advance, so took a little planning, but it was worth the wait.
We started off with the shrimp and steak tartare, perfected presented and so delicious.
My friend ordered the melon soup, which I wasn’t so keen on, but certainly different!
We also shared the foie gras which I loved!
We opted for the pairing wines with our meal which came with a story behind why that wine had been selected for their restaurant, where it was from in the world and the perfect match of the correct wine glass. Daniel, one of the owners personally came and spent some time educating us on the wines. He was so passionate about it and able to answer any questions we had.

I selected the frazzoletti for my main, but also tried the Grouper and Chicken.

The restaurant itself is tucked away at the back of the square. A hidden gem!
Although the meal was pricey, it was the perfect treat to celebrate our anniversary and get together with friends. If I could give 10 stars I would.

This place is magic! I went there expecting an exceptional dinner and this place absolutely exceeded those expectations. Our server was very sweet and attentive to our table. Daniel, the Sommelier added so much to the night walking us through a variety of different wines and the attributes and history behind those wines. The food was so amazing, we ordered the whole menu and shared and everything. The different dishes were so perfectly balanced. The chicken Liver & foie gras parfait was my favorite from the starters. If you want to have an out of body experience, I highly recommend you try the roasted chicken for your main course. I can’t even put into words how amazing that was. This quite possibly could have been the best meal I’ve ever had in my life. Shout out to the whole team at Spring, you guys are the absolute best!

I love love Spring Marietta. The food is top notch from appetizer to dessert. We had some great wines with our dinner tonight. The staff is so good! Our favorite is Zak C, so personable also he is a trained sommelier and talks about different wine options. He is so charismatic; he’s our all time favorite.

The best restaurant in Atlanta Metro Area. This hidden gem place in Mariettta is serving delicious, fine cuisine dishes that are real treat for a foodie like me. 😊Original and seasonal menu, surprising combinations and so delicious. They have very good wine list with wines we never tried anywhere else before. Nice ambience, cozy and upscale atmosphere. Very good service. The owner was very nice to accommodate the reschedule of our reservation. Overall 10/10, we can’t wait to try the spring menu!

My husband and I enjoyed dining here last weekend for our a rare date night. I got the fazzoletti and he got the grilled grouper. I was hesitant to try the melon and cucumber sorbet, but it was actually really yumm! I recommend it if you you like to try something new.

Never have we had a poor experience in all our times here. Every dish is well executed and delicious. The menu is always on point and carefully planned. Chef Brian always gets it right!
The wine list is so unique and classic. Sommelier Daniel is extremely knowledgeable and will always help find the right wine for your meal!
The ambiance is intimate and welcoming. The waitstaff are unparalleled.
We frequent Spring for every special occasion, anniversary, birthday, and sometimes just a random weeknight because we can’t stay away.
10/10 recommend!

We ordered the chicken liver pâté, the roasted broccoli salad, the pan-seared snapper, lobster garganelli and chocolate and beets for dessert. Every plate was beautiful and balanced. All of the flavors married well and complimented eachother perfectly. Service was impeccable. We will definitely be visiting again and I'd recommend eating here to all of my friends.

Wonderful meal, really enjoyed the atmosphere. Service was excellent, this small environment has a sweetness that encourages memory making. We tried all items on the menu 7/15/22 and found each delicious.

Only been here a couple or three times over the years, I suppose because it is so hard to get a table and Im a last minute type of guy. The food and service were absolutely amazing. I loved the oysters, the chicken pate/pistachio was to die for, the sunchoke soup stupendous, and the lobster with butternut squash and pasta was perfection. I will be making plans ahead of time to visit Spring more often. The small intimate space ensure the highest quality of food found anywhere in Atlanta.

Delightfully delicious appetizers and entrees at Spring! The ingredients are fresh and locally sourced, so the dishes will really pack a punch of flavor for any person who enjoys good food. Your tastebuds will be dancing at the end of your meal!

There are not enough stars for this restaurant. Chef Brian and Sommelier Daniel deliver an extraordinary experience time after time. The service here has no match. I enjoy a meal here at least two or three times a year on my birthday, anniversary, or just because I’m worth it. They always exceed expectations. Tonight we enjoyed every dish, but the some highlights were fried shrimp, wagyu picanha, gnocchi,and muscadine lime sorbet. Daniel was also kind enough to recommend a 2013 Terre Rouge California Muscat with my dessert that absolutely made it an amazing experience! Thank You again, We will return soon.

Very small intimate restaurant in downtown Merrietta that feels like it’s out of a movie or Gilmore girls. Almost forget that you’re only just outside the city of Atlanta. The food was great. Very interesting flavors. Had the duck which was the star of the show for me. Very tender amazing flavors. If you’re visiting Atlanta I highly recommend taking a break from the hussle and bussle of the city and spending some time out here at this wonderful restaurant .
