Madison Chophouse Grille

We had a girls' trip to Monticello and Madison visiting antique/ vintage stores and planned on having a little late at Chophouse. It wasn't busy that Saturday ( maybe because it was cold), got seated and served quickly. I had the grilled porchop with fried okra and fried green tomatoes. My 3 friends had fish and chips and 2 sides. The sweet potato fries was very good too. My meal was very tasty, delicious and good portion. We also asked for the rye bread with their yummy sweet butter. Our waitress was super attentive and cheerful. We will definitely go back!!

Very welcoming as soon as you arrive. Amazing staff, great environment, and this doesn't even begin to describe the food. I had the Fish and Chips, partner had the porkchop. We loved our meal, but there is one standout... The best fried green tomatoes you have ever had the privilege to eat can be found here. Thanks for an amazing meal. I also wish I was better with names but our waitress was amazing, even have us tips of things to photograph while in town. Can't recommend this place enough.

The steak was cooked perfectly. Green beans were soft and tendered and fried okra was battered nicely. Servers were prompt and cordial even when we were the only ones seated outside. Definitely a spot for comfort Southern flair if you're in the area.

Excellent meal. We got fried green tomatoes as an appetizer (pictured). Excellent choice! I got fried pork chops with asparagus. The asparagus was seasoned deliciously and charred, but not burnt, which really added to the flavor and texture. The pork chops were moist and flavorful. My wife got the blackened chicken Alfredo. Good but not great. The chicken was cooked perfectly but the pasta was a bit on the cool side which detracted from the enjoyability of the meal. Flavor was good though. Peach cobbler with ice cream for dessert. Excellent choice. Decaf coffee - freshly brewed. I had ordered sweet tea to drink and asked for a cup of decaf with dessert. I was a little disappointed when the bill came as I had ordered and paid for sweet tea but was also charged for the coffee in addition to the tea. Most restaurants will provide the cup of coffee with the drink already charged. The drinks are nearly $3.00 so that was disappointing. We dined on the patio which was very enjoyable. Great atmosphere and view. We’ll return but will remember the extra charge for the drink and avoid making that choice again. I highly recommend.

There aren't enough superlatives to give this restaurant, from food to waitresses, everything was 5 stars! Honestly, this place must've secretly made it for me and I was blessed enough to visit on a work trip. The house salad was crisp and refreshing and they have my favorite house/ranch dressing. Their bread and honey butter will ruin any diet, it's like outback bread, again my favorite. The blackened chicken with broccoli alfredo was to die for and will put you in an enjoyable food coma. Again, somehow, my favorite recipe!! I live almost 3 hours away but I will be driving back with the family just to eat here. I can't wait to try the other items on the menu and to possibly meet the owner/chef who clearly has the best taste in food.

Best Prime Rib I ever hate. Wife had Cod Fish and Chips.

Visited there after my uncle's funeral. We loved it.

The staff was extremely accommodating to our large party today. The food was great. The restaurant was clean. We will be back! 😊

Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in downtown Madison GA. The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in other mouths.

We started with spinach and
artichoke Dip, then onto the fresh salads with sweet onion dressing and steaks cooked to perfection. The fried green tomatoes and baked potato were excellent sides

Absolutely the best meal we have had in awhile. I Highly recommend having a meal soon at the Madison Chophouse.

I gave the Chophouse Grille a 5 star because everytime we dine there the food and service are consistently excellent.
Our dishes, Cashew Chicken Salad and Meat Loaf were so tasty and fresh. I loved the warm poppy seed dressing on my salad and the meat loaf was perfect for my husband.
The employees were attentive and polite. We wish we lived closer (visited 3/22/19 3:30pm.).

Great little place, amazing staff! The owner was onsite and super cool. Food was amazing and we didnt have any issues with our order, I was shocked because we were in a big group. We will be back, hopefully many times!

We had a great meal, burgers cooked to our liking. Salmon and bang bang shrimp were on point. Serve was fast , food was hot when served.

Even though they were very busy, we were seated immediately. Our waitress was very nice. The atmosphere was fun. The food was good! The meatloaves, fried green tomatoes, and broccoli and cheese were good. The bourbon glazed salmon didn't seem like it had any seasoning or glaze on it but it was cooked well. The nachos were really the best thing we had. Great place to catch a game on tv.

It's a great place to eat. Service is great. Not bad prices. What more could you want from a restaurant.

Great dinner the other night in Madison at the Chophouse Grille. We both enjoyed our dinners with the bourbon glazzed salmon and the no bun hamburger. Place was packed and service was still great.

No refill on tea. Lunch can with salad, but we were charged 2.00 more. Wasn't asked about dessert. With the class reunion on Wednesday

Was in town for the day visiting family and wanted to eat out and family suggested here. Didn't know what to expect. Upon entering (which was in a rush due to it storming outside and were soaked) staff was very helpful and inviting. Only waited a few minutes before being seating. Ordered food right away. It did take a little longer than we'd like to get our food but it was worth the wait. Awesome is an understatement. We'll definitely come here again when back in town and hopefully it won't be storming, lol.... sorry no pics

Let me tell you they had a power outage and were still all so nice and helpful. My friend was only able to get a salad and dessert but I imagine everyone was stressed out about it and I was impressed how awesome everyone was in spite of it. Definitely dedicated servers to the customer experience. I hope to go back when there's power and try what looks like great food.

I have the Ribeye at the Chophouse a couple of times a year. The staff is always focused on service and courteous. The cooks have 'diale-it- in'. My steak has been 'routinely' prepared just right. Thanks guys

Great food and service at reasonable prices. Recommended. Try the chili cheese fries. Also, know that all profits are donated to local schools.
