Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

We ate here one day for brunch and one night for supper. Everything was good.My daughter and I both used our birthday coupons to get the Coca Cola cake. It was delicious!

Really disappointed that they didn't have the Southern Fried Chicken and a big thank you to the manager for coming out and explaining that it was due to some faulty kitchen equipment. But hey, there was still plenty of good food to choose from. I ended up getting the Skillet Sirloin Steak Sampler which came with your choice of shrimp, fried or grilled chicken tenders and 2 country sides. I went with the fried chicken tenders , mashed potatoes and corn. My friend got the Grandma's Sampler Pancake Breakfast (with country ham...yum!!) And those Loaded Hashbrown Casserole Tots with ranch dressing that we had for an appetizer was good too. And we had to have some biscuits!!

This location was very busy at the time we came. Saturday evening. We waited about 30 minutes to be seated. Even with how busy it was and found out that they were short-staffed, service was 10/10 here. Our waitress was awesome. Our food came out in a timely manner, our drinks stayed full, and the table stayed clean. All of our food was hot, fresh, and delicious. Definitely on the list to stop at again if we pass back through one day.

Everything was good. The only thing I would do different next time is get my green beans in a bowl. The liquid from the green beans soaked into my fried okra. Soggy.

Love Cracker Barrel ! The food is very average, general comfort food. But the gift shop is amazing. The staff are wonderful. The bathrooms are clean and safe. Everywhere I travel and every time I travel, Cracker Barrel is on my MUST STOP HERE list

We love this Cracker BBL. We live near Athens, but it’s worth the modest drive to Maddison for this location.

One thing that you can normally say about Cracker Barrel is that no matter which store you visit, you know what to expect when you enter the door. That is friendly smiles, good food and friendly service. Today was no exception.

Our breakfast was delivered quickly, and everyone said that they enjoyed their plate. Our server Nancy R. was extremely pleasant, and she made sure our every need was addressed. She greatly enhanced our dining experience.

Everything was perfect.

I would not try to get in here with a camper or motorhome without first knowing the lay of the land. I did see a Tiffin large Class A motorhome pull in the parking lot and make a circle around the building. I was quite amazed that he made it out. There is a back road leading out of the parking lot that you can side park on, but without knowing where this road is in advance, I wouldn't try pulling in here. It's not worth the risk.

We ordered their holiday feast to pick up. This is a prepared feast to heat and serve for a thanksgiving meal. We were taking the easy route this year. We arrived on time for our scheduled curbside pick up, retrieved our order and drove home. Once home, we opened it realizing we had someone else’s order :( We called Cracker Barrel explaining how we have an incorrect order and we’re already home 35 min away. To our surprise, the manager, Brandi, offered to drive out of her way to deliver our correct order to us to make it all right. We appreciated her offer but didn’t want her to do that. So we drove back to Cracker Barrel, pulled up and Brandi immediately helped us check our new order, discounted us for our troubles and added extra sides just to add extra apologies. She was so kind and helpful and we appreciated her exceptional customer service! Thank you Brandi and happy thanksgiving to you and your family! I highly recommend eating at THIS Cracker Barrel :)

Our server, Trish, was friendly and attentive. The meal was good, as always. We love the RV parking offered.

Great place for s relaxing meal. Unlike most breakfast joints, I didn’t feel any pressure to leave as soon as possible. Food was excellent. Pancakes were fluffy, over medium eggs cooked to perfection and the hash brown casserole was excellent. Staff was very friendly and efficient. Come for a relaxing delicious meal. The photo shows a $20 breakfast for two. Also don’t forget the gift store that has old fashion candies and gifts. Entrance is a little hard to find off main road.

We recently enjoyed our company Thanksgiving lunch at Cracker Barrel in Madison. The manager, Michelle, took wonderful care of us, making sure that we had an area where all of us could be seated together to enjoy our time outside of the office. Our servers, Sommer, and McKenzie were very friendly and efficient; we couldn't have asked for better service. We will definitely be coming back to Cracker Barrel in Madison for our next company dinner!

Great service and great Chicken Pot Pie . I used to get the hamburger steak with mashed potatoes and green beans , but since you charge extra for the gravy now , I stopped getting it . Just isn't right to charge 1.00 for a spoonful of gravy . I also used to get the Catfish ,salad and sweet potato until you upcharged the sweet potato . No more . Overall CB does a great job .

Best Cracker Barrel ever! Such a warm, welcoming staff. Awesome food! We had Miss Lois as our server, and she was perfect. She made sure we had everything we needed, and was quick to refill our drinks. Will definitely go again!

Our waitress was fantastic. We were able to order what we wanted eventhough they had a limited menu due to the holiday. Even bought a stuffed Hershel for myself. Great visit.

The waiter was very sweet and didn't take long for her to get our order out and there was 8 of us, and she was very patient. The food was amazing. I'd so go back there

Had a great meal , the country fried steak and gravy is delicious . Our waitress was very nice to us , about the pictures on the wall we was wondering how Cracker Barrel gets them , maybe they can educate everyone about some history on the old pictures of people they have.

The staff was so sweet! Fast service and the managers were checking on every table to make sure we were all great. We will definitely be back!

Food was tasty, well presented and arrived surprisingly fast. Service was attentive and cordial. Will return soon.

What can I say. Good southern food and great service. We love all the servers but Taylor is amazing.
