New Bern KOA Holiday

Very nice campground, sites were incredibly clean and nicely leveled. We wished they were a little larger as they were very close together. Not enough room to put out the awning! The kids area was top notch, bounce pad, Gaga ball pit and much much more. They even had a nice area for the kids to "mine" for gems. 😉So fun!

I started my NC living here, and it was a fantastic start! The amenities were PERFECT! I LOVE the shower and bathrooms, the river, and the services they provide are comforting. Everyone is friendly! I would stay over and over again!

We loved the New Bern KOA and the amazing, peaceful views from the waterfront. The sunset is beautiful from the campground. New Bern is a quaint, historic town with street after street of historical landmarks and preserved buildings. There are bear statues for you to find all over town, and the visitor center staff is happy to give you a map to all of them!
The unisex restrooms and showers at New Bern KOA were clean and modern.

We did have some confusion with the front desk about our site, but it was resolved immediately upon checking in. We had to choose a different site type than what we booked originally and had to pay the difference in price even though it was the site information that was listed incorrectly (length) and not an error on our part.

Supirb location, reasonable rates, great staff, quick and attentive. Lots of activities for the kids. New swimming pool coming in april!

Not usually a KOA fan but we really enjoyed our stay here in New Bern. Very well maintained campground, great staff, bath houses were extremely nice and very clean. We'll definitely be back!

Love this campground. Had so many issues with KOA Cherokee this summer (also management never reached out to me there!!). KOA New Bern is always so clean including restrooms & showers. All staff super friendly from front desk to the guys helping with kids activities. Stayed here twice this year.

KOA was awesome! Bit expensive!!! $35 to park is a bit much it’s not just the KOA it’s everywhere people are so greedy! I’m homeless and need to park at night, the police or sheriff harass me every night I stay on the street! They wait till 2-3 am to come pound on the car and make me move!! Camping is become as much as rent !! It’s ridiculous but the koa was very nice just cost to much for someone who just wants to sleep

This was our 1st trip to KOANewBern. Let's start with the folks working there. Absolutely, hands down the most stellar group of people I've ever encountered at a campground. Helpful. Kind. Always smiling. They were always busy keeping every part of the place pristine and clean. There was no drama. There was no attitudes. I've never been anywhere so pleasant. The facilities were cleaner than most houses I've been to. There was always something going on for the kiddos. The store is very stocked and easily accessible. Coffee was always fresh and hot. The food truck was there Saturday and Sunday. The food was outstanding and the folks working it were great fun. It's location is so close to all the events happening in the area, yet far enough away to allow for relaxation and unwinding. We will most definitely be back and would 100% recommend this campground to anyone.

We love the New Bern KOA. It's very well maintained with clean facilities. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We love sitting in the swings by the river. Downtown New Bern has a lot to offer plus it's just a short drive to Atlantic Beach.

We had a great time at this campground. It's small enough that bikes and scooters work well. The views are beautiful and the facilities are nice. They have great activities for the kids, a nice park and bounce house. The walk down to the pier is nice and quiet. They have great tent sites for those that prefer to tent camp. We rented a premium site and were impressed we had an actual CLEAN, gas grill to use. The concrete patio, along with provided chairs and tables kept us from having to use our own - which made set up and break down a breeze. Chino helped us find our spot and park our rig to provide us with the best fit in our spot for the views. Customer Service TOP NOTCH.
We've booked again for next year and Jennifer was so helpful when we need to make a few changes to our reservation. She was patient and kind. I can't say enough about this KOA. It's our favorite so far!.

Facilities were very nice, lots of kid’s activities. Has frontage on the Neuse river and a nice pier. Pool too small, very crowded.

I had a tent site and slept in my SUV. Good thing cause Mother Nature decided to flood the site I was on. The staff woke me from my nap,thankfully. I moved two spaces up. The rest of the trip was uneventful. The Staff and management was super helpful, knowledgeable. The park was clean, fun for the kids. The pictures were fantastic. I would stay here in a heartbeat. They even had a food truck with pulled pork sandwich that was out of this world!

My family loves KOA New Bern! This was our 5th year coming. Stayed over the 4th of July. Great view of the fireworks over the river. We loved the ice cream social. The layout of this campground is great. It's always clean,inviting and very relaxing. It's a safe family friendly place! It's our home away from home. New manager's and staff are doing a great job! They are guick to fix any issues, always out keeping grounds clean, friendly and helpful.

Absolutely lovely campground and staff! Everyone was very helpful, friendly, and responsive. Grounds are beautiful and everything kept in great condition. Great spot to bring our three young children. Thank you to everyone we met; we'll be back!

We love the KOA in New Bern, NC. It is so clean. There are so many activities and the river views are spectacular. Downtown is just a short ride. There are wonderful restaurants and great shopping. Can't wait to go again!

I love KOAs! The service and communication is always top knotch and New Bern is no exception. Site is roomy and full service.

We had an awesome 5 day stay at this KOA. The managers Chino & Leni and their staff JR & Anita and Michael & Megan are top notch. They were all so welcoming and so much fun.

My family and I recently had an excellent stay at this wonderful campground! This campground is beautifully situated on the river and has plenty to offer the whole family. We stayed on a patio site and it was a great site and plenty big. The site had patio furniture, a gas grill, light post, and of course full hook-ups. The staff were all super friendly and professional and all would take the time to speak to you. We felt very welcomed and really enjoyed our stay. When you're visiting New Bern or the surrounding area you can't go wrong here. We'll be back!
