Mona Lisa Restaurant

It is definitely a no frills restaurant and the decor is kind of odd, but the food is amazing. It’s mostly authentic and it has amazing flavor profiles, I was surprised to find it’s some of the best italian food I’ve eaten. The downside is there seems to be only one - very dedicated, very overworked - server, who is very sweet but obviously expect a wait with one server and a packed restaurant. I recommend the ravioli highly.

Authentic Italian entrees featuring home-made pasta. Small restaurant, currently with one server, but the wait time and service was still excellent. Dinner comes with warm bread and side salad. I ordered the chicken with mushrooms over angel hair pasta, my partner ordered the Zuppa seafood dish with clams, shrimp, scallops, and penne pasta. We both had a glass of the house Merlot. Excellent dinner!

Has a different name when you actually get to the location but don’t let that fool you…the food is absolutely phenomenal and delicious in every way. The gnocchi and the veal masala were delicious!

Second time in this wonderful truly Italian restaurant. I cannot get enough of this delicious food. They are the best if you are looking for truly Italian food. Highly recommend this restaurant. Did I mention the food is wonderful 😋 also the service is top notch. 👌

Great food, service is slow because of the lack of waiter's small menu but great tasting, good value and won't leave you spending too much. We got there at 5:30 on Friday night and able to get a table for 4 and by the time we left at 7:00 it was full with people waiting outside. Suggest making a reservation

The best Itailian restaurant in Hendersonville! Intimate setting with friendly and knowledgeable people. Sandy makes you feel right at home and every meal a special occasion. The angel hair pasta, lasagna, chicken Alfredo and parmagianas, all are incredible and their Florentine blackened steak is outstanding!
We had a very special dinner again at Mona Lisa again last night. Small, intimate atmosphere, delicious real Italian food with a bottle of wine capped with a Happy Anniversary confection and a demitasse espresso. Just Wonderful!
We are going out less and taking out more. The Chicken Alfredo and Rack of Lamb are so good and so far beyond my cooking skills that calling Sandy to place our order has become almost a weekly treat.

Limited seating - if you're not on your way already you could miss out. Go now! You'll be glad you did. Tina our server was terrific and our food...

Outstanding pasta dinner. One server for entire restaurant, but even so, superb service. Never seen someone work so hard. The Cheese Ravioli with walnuts was exceptional.

Excellent! Had the spaghetti with meat sauce. It was so good that I leaned back in my seat, closed my eyes, and savored the flavor. The best ever. Truly heaven on a fork. And, perfect service. What a discovery. Can't wait to return.

It was recommended to us by one of our B and B Cleaning Service customers and he was right, great service & delicious food. Love it!!!

Talking about food, the best flavor I tasted in long time, ask for veal Mona Lisa and ravioli butter walnut, let Tina to suggest about the wine, she is awesome, Good service, good flavors, good price! What else you looking for?

Such a great find! Loved the homey atmosphere and the waitress was amazingly efficient and friendly considering she was the only one. The meatballs with sauce over pasta was our favorite. The price for dinner and drinks (wine/beer) for two was very reasonable. Will come again when visiting the area.

The best Italian food I have ever eaten! There is one cook and one waitress. But they are efficient!! Absolutely the best food!!!

Delicious food and stellar service! We had a large group with lots of kids, and the staff was attentive and so helpful. Melissa was especially wonderful to our table. The pizza was some of the best we have ever had- reminded us of pizza in Venice!

My mom and I were there last night and I cant say enough good things about this place. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the special, tortellini and shrimp and she had the fettucine with scallops. The quality of the food was so good. If we weren't in Hendersonville for just the day, we would have gone back again. There was only one server but she had the process down to a T and we were very well taken care of.

Finally made it here and it was superb. We were hesitant due to other local favorites were raved about, but when we went turned out to be the worst Italian food (ianucci’s - now closed, & Nora’s - butt head chef). Now Mona Lisa’s ROCKS! They are spot on in service & food quality! Keep it up & when the new year rolls in we are coming back after the renovations!

Top tier Italian food with impeccable service from a minimum of dedicated staff that provide a fine dining experience via the high quality food. Not a fancy atmosphere, but you won't mind after you taste your first wonderful bite. Favoloso!

Authentic Italian, veal saltimbocca was very tender and well seasoned. Salad was fresh. Portions are good. Owner is engaged in his restaurant.
