Great experience. Prices were very fair and comparable to the prices at home. Food was great. Margaritas were top notch. Ended up with eating here twice on vacation.

We had a great lunch today! We tried the Taco Flight—8 mini tacos with different meats. They were delicious! I added some salsa to them, just right. We are locals who eat here frequently—always friendly service, quick seating, and fresh food.

This was the second place we tried in the Outer Banks that fit our Mexican food, allows dogs requirements. The first one wouldn't seat our party of 7 after we arrived in their outdoor section, so we had to find another option. It's been surprisingly difficult to find and they didn't even show up on our Bring Fido app as being dog friendly. But they have a great outdoor seating area that's fantastic for dogs and kids.

The server was phenomenal! She was able to inquire with the chefs about our vegetarian and gluten free requirements and gave us some great options to choose from.

The food and drinks were delicious. My margarita actually tasted like a margarita, as opposed to just pre-made mix. If we're ever in the area again, we will definitely be back!

La Fogata is always fast and has great food! Another great meal today. They always have fresh made salsa and chips to start you off and the food is superb! I am still amazed at how fast they can get your meal to you! Awesome restaurant ran by the same family for years! UPDATE: Another great reason to visit La Fogata's is the dining rewards program connected to the Fuel Rewards/Shell app. For every $50 you spend you get an additional 20 cents off your next gas fill-up! That's why we choose La Fagota so often! We can all use money off gas to compliment a dinner we were going to have anyhow!

Delicious Mexican food located in OBX. Our waiter Sulma provided an excellent experience, bringing us our food in a timely fashion, and catering to all of our needs. The Tacos Al Pastor were INCREDIBLE. They marinated their pork overnight, and did not skimp on the pineapple. Don't miss out on the churros either.

Also, CHEAP LIQUOR - $11 for a HUGE margarita, 22oz of beer on draft for $6. Truly unbearable prices across the board, food too!

Anyway, go there and eat some tacos and get a marg, better than half the places in the area.

Best believe I'm here for taco tues... like 2 bucks each and you can't go wrong.....also one of the hottest waitresses on the beach can be found here. When she walks away it'll put a smile on your face

Best Quesadilla Del Mar! Excellent Margaritas! Unfortunately we didn't get the picture until our food was gone and so were are margaritas!

Cannot say enough GOOD about this place, the caring service and the tasty food! We live in TN and visit here twice yearly. We never miss out on dining at La Fogata and we are never disappointed in the tasty food and friendly, caring service.

best Mexican food in the Outer Banks... This is where the locals eat and the tourist who have been here for years and years... Great service, awesome fajitas and adult beverages... Family atmosphere where everyone works together to take care of the customer... I have eaten here many times and always look forward to coming back... Highly recommend!!

We visit here every year while on vacation. Salsa and Chips are very good and the food is delicious. Quick to take your order and the food comes out hot.

Been going here for 20+ years (since the smoking section was in the back behind where the bar is!!) And I've always had an enjoyable experience. Polite, happy servers, delicious food, and a wonderful ambient atmosphere. Also it's always cool in there and your girl loves not burning up while eating good, hot food.

Sulma was a very pleasant and kind waitress. Enjoy the tastes.

We love LaFogata (both locations). We always make a point of going every time we come down to OBX. It never disappoints and this year was no exception. Excellent margarita. Terrific food. High level of customer service. Tremendous value. You really can’t ask for anything more.

Very good Mexican restaurant. Food was delicious and got to our table very quickly. If you have a “hometown” favorite Mexican restaurant where you are from, La Fogata will be better than it is. Enjoy.

Food was great, service was great and quick. Everything was hot and tasty. They had a giant 16 or 18 top that they were handling at the same time and you would not have known it. Very attentive server. Servings were ample and price was right.

Let me start by saying that this wasn't my first experience here but this night I had an exceptional server, great food and a pretty fun time observing a drunk blonde trying so hard to get with a Latino dude at a table with his boys whom were celebrating his birthday. He just wasn't interested and anyone whom wasn't desperate could see why. Homegirl was just failing so hard and it was quite entertaining. Great experience at La Fogata!
