I Got Your Crabs Shellfish Market and Oyster Bar

I stopped here for the name and really enjoyed the place! I ordered the oysters with sweet potato fries and sweet tea, which was a great portion and combo. The service was attentive and friendly. I loved the seating arrangement that accommodates groups with tables/booths but also single parties with bar seating. They also have two happy hours where oysters are shucked and half off - which is great and all the reason to dine here. Overall, really enjoyed this place and food!

Best blue crabs ever!! Fresh and served to perfection. Blue crab tacos were delicious. Also got sides of sweet potato fries and waffle fries- atmosphere was cute - diner like. Service was great! Would highly recommend- place gets crowded shortly after opening- so plan accordingly!

This place is a gem to be found. Its all about the seafood and its done with no messing around. Quick turn around. Take out options and if your looking for some quality crab legs you found a great place to check out here. The place is small. Seating is a bit limited and a smell of fryer grease is in the air but don't let that stop you from the quality of the food served. If you're worried grab some take out. The service is efficient and friendly and helpful. Give this a shot. I bet you will be back. Crab dip and chips is good. Fried chips melt in your mouth. Crab legs were all top notch and corn dogs and hush puppies were a hit for the kids. Be ready for the brown sugar sauce on the hush puppies. Its different..not applesauce...and good if you give it a shot! If you don't like I'm sure butter could be substituted. The tacos are also of note. Many different options of meat in them. Chicken included so for anyone wanting to get away from seafood...you have a delicious option. The crab bisque...amazing.

Delicious food, amazing staff. Crab dip is best I have ever eaten! Sweet potato fries are an absolute favorite of mine. I had scallops, and my husband had oysters. Great portions and delicious! Every time we go to the outer banks, we make sure to eat here. Highly recommend!!

Sadly, they didn’t have my crabs since they were out of season. They did have my steamer clams and oyster stew though and lemme tell ya both those dishes don’t get any better than at I Got Your Crabs. Even though I only got takeout, service was really prompt and attentive as well.

TIMING is everything. We had a party of 11, and timed it just right because they only have 2 tables inside. The rest of the seating is bar stool. We had alternate plans but so glad we didn't need them. The food was amazing.

We ordered Soft shell plates, Snow crabs, Dungeness crabs, Blue crabs, oysters, and I'm not a seafood person so I got 6 shrimp. First place I've ever seen that you pay per shrimp.

Group consensus, everything was cooked perfect, full of flavor and awesome. My only warning, small place "hole in wall" not a lot of room for bigger groups.

Waited just 20 minutes on a busy day for a table for six. The crab nachos were outstanding-have never eaten anything like them! Light & delicious! Soft shell crabs & crab tacos also highly recommended. Staff is top notch. Go for lunch or dinner, you'll be pleasantly surprised, and you'll go back!!

My husband & I checked out this local spot on one of our day trips to OBX! My husband is a Marylander and always loves to get blue crabs anytime we can find them. We stopped by at 4:30 to get an early dinner, and I’m really glad we came at that time! By 5:30 the place was packed and now we know why! The food is amazing, the service is phenomenal, and the atmosphere was cozy. When we arrived they were currently out of fresh blue crab but within 20 minutes, Hunter had just arrived with fresh crabs from the boat! We ordered a dozen fresh blue crabs with heavy seasoning and they were delicious! We will definitely be visiting again the next time we are in OBX! Truly a hidden gem in Kitty Hawk!

the food was amazing, hot and tasty. The blue crab nachos was the start of the day and the crab legs were so fresh it snapped. You didn’t even have to use butter. The service was amazingly good. I give the service a 10 out of 10, all the waitresses work together for an amazing experience. I Got Your Crabs gave the best service in Kitty Hawk. It was worth the wait and we will be going back again this week.

Fun and delicious experience! This was a great chance for me to introduce some new seafood choices to my kids and neice. The tacos were filling and delicious, the fried oysters were rich and delicious, the fried clam strips were yummy and the soft crabs were great! Also great service and nice to support a family business.

The food here was lights out some of the best seafood I've had. The crab bisque was spicy and rich, softshell crab tacos and nachos were loaded up. They give you loads of perfectly cooked, delicious seafood. The wait staff was attentive and charming - we all really enjoyed everything about this place.

Our favorite place at the beach for fish tacos! They are the best! Lots of choices—2 for $16. The she crab soup is also devine. The crabs are coming in fresh each day now and they have oysters from the Rappahannock River year round. Limited seating, but there’s outside tables, too.

Fun diner-esque establishment with the BEST prices compared to other popular places. Got 3 pounds of snow crab in the picture with a pound of shrimp and hush puppies and fries. So good and very fresh. Seating is limited but they offer bar style with 3-4 tables for larger groups. Also offering to go orders but definitely fun to sit and watch then prepare everything. Oysters are shucked fresh to order and are also highly recommended.

Great experience! Soft shell crabs were some of the best I’ve had and the raw oysters were on point. My daughters said they had the best hush puppies. Atmosphere and service staff were amazing which made some out of towners feel like they were locals. Definitely will be back

The best place we’ve gone to dinner in the OBX. Super small hole in the wall but worth it if you have to wait. Crab bisque, fried shrimp, and snow crab legs all 10/10.

The food here is delish!! Staff is excellent too! We did to go orders two nights in a row. We've had a little bit of everything off of the menu and it is all delicious. The flounder fillet sandwich with the oyster stew and a crab stuffed with melted cheese mushroom is pictured below. I will definitely be eating here again when we come back in town for vacation.

Just amazing. They only do a select amount of carry out each day, but don’t let that stop you from getting some amazing eats. I decided to eat in and was not disappointed. Really a wonderful experience. The chips for the nachos were made fresh along with everything else. I got the nachos, steamed shrimp, and steamed blue crab. Definitely the place to grab some excellent fresh food when at the OBX.

I cannot start this review without saying that these are absolutely the best fish tacos I have ever had in my life! Ok, now that that's been established I can continue my review. The restaurant is very unassuming; a small, corner restaurant in a small strip mall with almost a diner type feel...which is not normally somewhere you would expect amazing seafood. I can say that I was so delightfully surprised by the quality of the food I received here. The restaurant is clean, service is very attentive and friendly, you can see the chefs through the window and they are very personable as well. I spoke with our waitress and she recommended the fried flounder and fried oyster tacos, which I ordered, while my wife ordered the fried flounder filet meal with a side of sweet potato fries. The portions that you are given are outstanding, so much so that I couldn't even contemplate sneaking sweet potato fries from my wife's plate after eating my 4 tacos. These tacos are literally overflowing with ingredients and you will need a fork to finish everything that fell out of them into the tray. The flavors of the batter they use and the sauce drizzled over the ingredients is spectacular. I really cannot compliment them enough. I was so happy with my meal that I was excited to pay! Yes, you read that correctly: I was excited to pay for my meal because it was so good. Stop in, order some fish tacos for yourself, and enjoy how fish tacos should be made everywhere. But, since this is the only place that makes this quality of food I will drive 1.5 hours down on the weekend to partake in some more of their delicious offerings.
