Champa

On a visit to Hendersonville, NC, we stopped to have lunch at Champa. We had an excellent server and the food was delicious. The restaurant had a wonderful ambiance until a woman and her friend moved from the front of the restaurant to the back where we were sitting and proceeded to allow her toddler to scream bloody murder for thirty minutes. The restaurant had no control over that. We would definitely return!

No sushi this time. Their meals are soooooo freaking good. Sesame chicken spice level 4, Thai Basil Shrimp spice level 4. Chicken LoMein we purposely order to take home. Amazing!!

We had an excellent dinner at Champa's. My son has a gluten allergy and they were attentive and had plenty of options including hibachi.
Everyone's food was delicious, the service was excellent and we loved the atmosphere. I highly recommend Champa and look forward to coming back in the near future.

Have lived in Hendersonville only three years and met friends at the restaurant. My husband and I ordered the roast duck dinner together with two side salads. The food was excellent along with the service. Environment was very clean and quiet. Would recommend this restaurant.

Went to Champa one rainy Saturday Ordered the $50 sushi boat and Tempura Cheesecake Good times 😋

A nice unexpected stop on Christmas Day. Food was hot and tasty. The staff were very friendly. Will definitely stop here again!

Went here while visiting family. Got the Bonzai and Pork Gyosa appetizers, as well as we all had spring rolls. I got the Godzilla sushi roll (very good), had fried rice from my Grandpa, and finished off with sticky rice with mango for dessert. All tasted good, and I was quite full at the end. Nice place, calm/fine dining atmosphere.

Went here for dinner, they had a great menu with plenty of choices. Servers are polite and helpful and the bathrooms are pretty clean. Lots of sushi options and some that us sushi lovers had never seen/tried before. Definitely a place to try.

We have eaten here many many times over the years and it is always great but tonight we did something for the first time. My friend and I completed an item on our must do list to sit at the sushi bar and order distinctive items À la carte. No doubt the most unique and most delicious dining experience I’ve ever had. Watching the shear culinary artistry is mesmerizing but tasting each carefully crafted piece of fresh salmon and tuna is incredible. This was the first of many more times to indulge in Champa’s sushi and sashimi bar.

The best Thai food in Western North Carolina! I’ve been several times over the years and it’s always good. Great value too.

Great Sushi and Hibachi food! Large variety of food to pick from especially sushi! The Sushi boats are amazing! Staff are very friendly and very attentive. Restaurant is clean. We love to sit at the sushi bar!

Our favorite place to go for sushi. My daughter is a vegetarian and cannot get enough of the Green Dragon roll with inari, cream cheese and avocado. I have not found anything around that compares to this place for vegetarian options.

I highly recommend you “treat yo’ self” to the Godzilla Roll. It's my favorite! My daughter loves the Ribeye Teppanyaki. The Ginger Honey tea is delicious! I love the atmosphere, staff, and fantastic food.

Champa is our favorite sushi place in Hendersonville. The owner is always warm and welcoming. The staff is excellent and the food is great.

Best teriyaki ribeye I’ve ever eaten. The interior is nicely done and has cozy lighting. The most comfortable seats are the boots. Padding on both the seat and back. Why do so many restaurants have such uncomfortable seating? It’s like they copied seating schemes from prisons and other ugly institutions. I usually stay away from Thai and sushi places, but a local recommended this restaurant. I’m glad I visited. Despite all of the good things, there are a couple of nits. Close by parking is atrocious. It is located in the center of downtown. Also, there is a bit of a language barrier with some of the staff. However, pointing and gesturing seems to fill the communications gap. Highly recommend. Update: today’s visit included teriyaki beef over noodles. Fantastic!

I will diffently return. The amount of food you get for the price is well worth it. For three people it was about 120.00.
We had 3 sushi entreas, crab rangoon, soup, 2 chicken and shrimp hibachi meals, and 1 steak and shrimp hibachi meal. All food came out hot and , we ate it all up.

I regularly have a great experience eating here, the entire staff is pleasant and the sushi is consistently good.

The sushi was delicious I had 7 different rolled and ended up ordering a bottle of their lychee flavored sake. I will definitely be eating here again.
