Taqueria Durango

Staff is very friendly. Smaller quaint spot but the food is on point. I ordered the guacamole salad and added grilled chicken. Very fresh and flavorful. My son had the Steak ACP. Portions are large and they were generous with the cheese! I’ve had the guacamole salad for take out as well and it was just as good order in. Check this place out, you won’t regret it.

Love this Mexican restaurant. The service is always great and food is amazing. We like to order to go and take home dinner. The portions are huge and the flavor is great. Definitely a must try place.

We are so glad we tried Taqueria Durango! Mr. Alejandro and his staff took great care of us :) probably the best salsa I’ve ever had. The meals were delicious and the sopapillas were fantastic. We will definitely be back!

Service was awesome. The lady (so sorry I can't remember her name) she was super nice. She constantly checked on us. Food was very delicious and came fast. It wasnt slam packed when we got there which is awesome. Dessert was the best! It seems like a family restaurant which I totally love! Would 100% reccomend and come back. Thanks!

Me and my wife love this place. They have the best steak chimichanga’s and their sweet tea is always good, unlike other restaurants we go to that are hit and miss. The service is great as well, definitely has that family feel. Very sweet nice people!

Me and my husband go to this restaurant quite regularly and we never have a bad experience. When we order our food it tastes fresh every time. We always have the best experience going here and it tastes the most authentic Mexican food around.

I don’t have enough good words to say about this place! My family is new to the Rocky Point area and this is one of 2 places to eat in our town and it is TO DIE FOR!!! It taste like a home cooked meal every time!! We’ve had takeout twice and it was ready very quickly and prepared correctly! Tonight we dined in for my birthday and it was absolutely delicious! The homemade salsa is a 10 out of 10, along with the homemade guacamole and queso dip!! It is a family owned establishment, I believe we met the owner and what I assumed is the patriarch of the family. He was so nice, very funny, and you can tell he really cares about his business and the patrons! Cannot wait to go back!!

We love coming to this place. Great service, friendly staff, great fresh food. We come at least once a week so the staff know us and our order. Highly recommend!

This place has gotten so much better. The new owners are fabulous and the food is soooo good and so much better. more flavor etc. Always kind friendly workers. Only wish they had bigger bowls of salsa when they bring out the chips and delicious salsa. The chimichangas are amazing too

Good food, nice atmosphere, great service! We came after 8pm when they were doing take out only, but we asked if we could still eat outside. I expected to just pick up our food at the counter, carry it out, and that be it. But the guy served us outside, brought us more chips, salsa, and napkins and repeatedly checked on us even as they began closing. Small place, but a gem.

The food and service at this fine establishment are amazing! I’ve been frequenting this hidden gem for several months since moving close by, and it rivals any Mexican Restarant in Wilmington and surrounding areas! You have to try it out next time you’re in the area. The owner and staff are above professional, genuine people, and great hosts! 5 stars all day, every day!

Beef cheek tacos delish, the tamales were moist, the verde sauce was my fav tamale. The guac was spot on

OH MY GOSH. My husband and I have been eating here since they opened a few years ago and I have NEVER had anything that’s tasted so authentic and delicious!!! Our favorite is the chicken fajita quesadilla but today we branched out and I tried the sopa on corn tortilla…it was amazing. This restaurant is a little hidden treasure out in Rocky Point yet their menu is still so diverse and the decor is perfectly done. They even have a bar now and next time I have to try a margarita with dinner. You have never had Hispanic/Mexican food like this before and you HAVE to try it. Homemade salsa, fresh ingredients and flavorful beyond measure. The foods always so good I forget to take a photo because I can’t wait to eat it haha! I am so pleased to continually support this local business and you can also tell the owners are very passionate about their restaurant. I love it. Seriously, keep it up ya’ll 😍😍❤❤

Great food! Don't let the location fool ya... great experience. Taste was great for a meal on the go. Awesome sweet tea & classic glass bottle sodas! We will return!

Im new in town and have been exploring places around here. I ordered some enchiladas and rice today and I have to say, they were the best enchiladas I've ever eaten. The lady that took my order was also very sweet with her customers. I'll definitely come back.

First off, they have a 100 for sanitation rating... Also, Excellent cuisine, prices were great, clean atmosphere and exceptional customer service! First time here and absolutely love it. Everything was so fresh and delicious!!!
