Edit:I have proof the head wasn't cracked from your text and you were as transparent as a brick wall on the price. You gave us no heads up on the price being doubled until after the job was "done". You agreed to what we paid which was more than we should have. You agreed ro finish the job yet you never showed up to do it so we had to hire an actual mechanic to finish it. I have proof of all of this through texts from you.

Contacted them to give us a written quote for a engine rebuild on a backhoe. He gave us a rough estimate of around 5k. We knew that parts could cost more just because of how the market is currently. After most of the work is done we get our final bill which totaled up to over 12k with only 1500 increase of parts. We first paid a total of 8k. 5k from the quote plus 1500 for parts and I added 1500 more for "labor". We ended paying a little over 10k and are stuck hiring someone else to finish the job. It had several major fuel leaks and we needed to replace the starter. Dakota would not come back to finish even after saying he would when he finally answered the phone. We now have found out that its out of timing due to Dakota not tightening up everything when he assembled the motor. I will update this review after we sue him for shotty work, more than double the quote and not finishing the job.
