Shilla Bakery & Cafe - Annandale

Came here to get a cake for an event and I also got some pastries and drinks which are pretty good. The cakes are nicely presented and taste great. I especially like the sugary twist pastry.

Me and my girlfriend shared several pastries, and every single one of them was delicious. They all tasted as good as they looked.

I don't typically like hot coffee. So I ordered an iced pumpkin pie latte, which ended up coming out hot. I brought it to their attention and they made a new iced latte for us.

The iced latte was delicious, and it wasn't too sweet. It actually tasted like a coffee, rather than a sweet milk drink.

To my surprise, the hot latte was the best hot latte I've ever had before. It was genuinely delicious, and I unexpectedly finished it.

Good Korean bakery with tasty dessert breads and beautiful, delicious cakes. The coffee bun is my favorite and the mango mousse cake is a family favorite choice for birthday cakes. I recently got the mango mousse cake for a retirement party and everyone raved about how good it was and had second slices. Cakes come with complimentary cutting knife and decorative topper. Prices are a bit high and service is not amazing, but still a great bakery overall. Can order in advance online for efficient pickup.

I used to here 10 years ago closer to when it opened. It was so good then and a breath of fresh air. Now it’s even got new stuff that looks so cool! I wish I could have tried it all.

What an amazing bakery! They have so many different kinds of baked goods, cakes, coffee, and the taste is exceptional too. Can't wait to come back!

20230311 Haven't been to this location in awhile. Service was ok. Employees don't say much, a cultural thing. I got 3 red bean donuts and 3 goldfish, and that was $12.31. Add up fast! The goldfish was ok, dense, and dry. I expected it to be sifter and more moist. Never had it before.

From 4 years ago...Upon entering the bakery, I noticed how clean and organized the interior is. They carry Korean baked goods, cakes (sold in slices or whole cake), coffee drinks, babo tea, bingsoo, ice cream, breakfast items... Their prices are middle to higher. I bought 1 Bingsoo and 3 little pastrie, and the total was almost $13.

I never had Bingsoo before, but seen it on YouTube. It was pretty good, but not sure if I will get it again. This bakery is a nice little stop for a snack. It has tables where you can dine in. The ladies restroom is pretty clean. The staff isn't friendly. They appeared to be quiet or pre-occupied, but it wasn't busy. They were helpful when I asked for help. Breakfast looks good. I will definitely stop by again and have breakfast.

Updated: I bought a bunch of stuff today! They add up fast! $42! But so worth it. They have a larger selection of baked goods today then the last time I visited. Everything looked so good.

Updated: so disappointed that the Vanilla roll peeled when I was unwrapping it from the wrapper. Definitely not an ideal item to bring to a party. I bought 2 and the top layer on both peeled. Fortunately it was just a BBQ.

Glad I found this place food looks great and the taste is just as good. Ladies in there are very friendly

I had just come back from a trip to South Korea a few weeks before I visited Shilla and I was so excited to see some of my favorites! The bingsu was delicious, and the baked goods were amazing, especially the cream cheese bread. I can’t wait to go back!

Everything we tried was amazing. The worker also was dealing with a rude customer while helping us but continued being professional and kind towards checking us out. Would recommend if you are on the hunt for a delicious bakery.

The matcha bread and rainbow cake are so soft and yummy. Will try more different breads and cakes.

This little place is great! I got a small chocolate mousse cake with fruit on top and my friends got boba tea. All of it was delicious and not super expensive. The price was worth the quality. The place was very packed, yet it did not stop them from serving quickly and well. I recommend it to people who enjoy bakeries, cakes, bread, boba tea.

Just purchased and had delivered a fresh cream fruit cake. It was beautiful and tasty!! The fruit was fresh and the cake was so light and delicious. The outside is a fresh whipped cream consistency and not crazy sweet which was exactly what I was looking for so you could taste the fruit and vanilla cake. It was delivered in a really cool cake box which kept the whole cake in perfect condition. Our whole family loved it! I will purchase again!!

Great collection of cakes, the designs are always cute. The server helped us know which one has pork gelatine and which one dont, cause we wanted to avoid pork. My favourite is their Panda cake!

Yum yum! All of their pastries are delicious - our favorites are the Castellas, red bean doughnuts, Choux creme, mochi doughnuts, and now tanghulu too. Great boba too!

Come and try EVERYTHING! All of the baked goods are amazing as well as everything in the cases. You can't go wrong with whatever you try and you won't be disappointed with whatever you leave with. Guarantee you will be back to get more!

Definitely the best cakes, breads, and pastries around. I always get Shilla's birthday cakes for friends and co-workers. You can definitely tell they focus on the taste and freshness of their products.

We love the backed goods. They are not overly sweet. My son really enjoys the mango roll. Great job.

I am not a cake person but I will not go anywhere else but shilla bakery for cake . They have the best fresh cream cakes. And mango one is my favorite, I usually travel from Stanford to get this cake . But always worth it . By the way this cake is for my son’s first month birthday.

Very tasty cake. Highly recommended. Their mango mousse cake contains gelatin. I wish they would point out what's halal/non hala for muslims. If they point out what contain animal byproducts for vegans that would be helpful too.
