I have never met a nice baker they always give you attitude when you ask to put HPDay this lady made my Night 12/24/23 at 7pm she even asked me what I will like to write in the cake she did beautiful thank you Lady I really appreciate Merry Christmas 🎄

The florist there was a great help in putting a bouquet together for my mom.

Went late to get last minute graduation flowers, and Samari was a great help with wrapping the flowers and being patient with my perfectionist mom. Hope Samari gets the respect and appreciation he deserves for being such a wonderful person and worker.

They were absolutely packed on Thanksgiving but the employees were super friendly and efficient. Managers were active and helping to ensure customers were getting sent to registers that were open and no one was waiting to long. The fresh desserts from the bakery were delicious. I thought the Boston cream pie was great, the strawberry shortcake was good but we added more strawberries! The prices, food, and service were all top notch even on the holiday.. I'd definitely do more shopping there if they were closer!

This store has the best Apple Fritters. Their Apple Fritters are as good as Winchell’s Donut House which are some of the best in the world. The fritter is crunchy on the outside. The edge comes out crisped for almost a quarter of an inch all the way around. The fritter is flat so there isn’t that cake texture in the middle. I go early to get them fresh. Any type of storage such as plastic containers softens them and makes them good, but not to die for.

I felt comfortable here. All the employees were wearing masks and cleaning surfaces. The aisles had arrows and there were spacing stickers in the high traffic areas. As I write this, I can see how much my criteria for awarding stars has changed in the past seven months! Stay safe y'all.

Safeway is my goto grocery store. They are always well stocked and plenty of cashiers or self-checkout registers open.

I live in the Fairfax area and one day I was out in Annandale and I happen to stop into this particular Safeway. Boy was I surprised when I walked in the store I felt like I was in a different country. It was so clean smelling and fresh the first thing I smelles when I walked in were flowers. The florist is right by the door when you walk in and it's a great idea because the flowers were beautiful and fresh and they made the store smell so good as I walked into the produce section all of the produce were bright and looked so clean and the vegetables and fruit looks so fresh. This was one of the largest Safeways I think I have ever been to. I drive out of my way 30 miles to visit this particular store. They even have a Starbucks as soon as you walk in and everybody in this store is so friendly and helpful. I even use the restroom and most of the restrooms at grocery stores are disgusting but this particular one was so clean as they take pride in having a clean store. Thank you very much Safeway a very happy customer

Friendly staff, they have whole watermelons that are good here in winter! Great variety of nuts. The produce is excellent and kept organized 😉

This Safeway has a brand new larger and more functional Starbucks Coffee bar! The store often has good selections of groceries, produce, wine, etc. Now more coffee choices too!

Modern and sleek... but no self checkout and bad, slow checkout

Update: Literally days after I left the original three star review they installed self checkout machines. Excellent!

Wonderful bakery! Asked them to put together two dozen donuts for a workplace gender reveal and they were done within half an hour of my call.

Very convenient and easy to navigate to and got a huge parking lot…

I am very glad to recommend safeway at Little River Turn pike. Their meat department is outstanding; the customer service of the employees is amazing; they know you by name and always provide you with the best. Niki, specially is always willing to help you in all your needs. My family members always ask me where I buy my meats; and I always recomend safeway.
