B-thrifty - Annandale

Cleanest thrift store I've been to, with a wide selection of clothes and pictures. The staff is also really friendly and helpful. I hope they can add more home items in the future.

From other reviews, the experience seems to be hit and miss, no half ways. Mine was excellent, staff was polite and helpful, store was very clean with roomy aisles, merch and prices were good. I liked the prices be written with permanent markers, in other thrifty stores labels fall.
I will definitely return.

I've been going here at least once a week for a couple of years. I mostly purchase baby clothes, toys, and men's clothing. The sales are really solid and make shopping a bit more fun. The store is clean, and donations are easy too. There aren't any fitting rooms, but I'm there so often that I just exchange for credit if something doesn't work out. I've never once had a bad experience with customer service.

First, the downsides: no dressing rooms and no returns (exchanges for store credit only within 6 days on clothes with tags attached). It's a bit of a gamble to shop without being able to try on, but the prices are very good. I found nice items (some brand new) for $4-$20/item. Keep an eye out for the color of the week, noted by store tags, which is half off. The employees are also very nice and work hard to keep things organized.

I went to this store for the first time today. The manager and employees of this store were very kind and helped me a lot. Also, this store was very clean and tidy. I am very grateful for the good management of the store.

my new favorite thrift store! They had a lot of trendy, cute, brand name clothes that were priced fairly. The store was clean and inventory was well organized which made browsing around easy. I ended up spending around $30 (with discount) and left with two huge bags of stuff. Also, they offer different discounts depending on the day of the week. Wednesday’s nurses, police officers, teachers, fire fighters get 35% off with a work badge.

My favorite thrift shop. Former K-Mart location in Annandale. Clean, bright,, well organizard. Lots of kids clothes and stuff. Doesn't have the picked-over look of some shops.

I am obsessed with this store. You find very good things and good prices. The people who work at B-thrifty Annandale are very friendly and always give the best customer service and the store is very safe.

I am new to the area and so far this is my favorite thrift store. I like that the clothes are arranged by size as it makes it a lot easier to find things. I noticed that some reviews say that their prices are high, but I didn’t see that.

TLDR: I hate to see this amazing thrift store getting low ratings because people don’t understand the difference between the retail industry and the thrift store industry
Many thrift stories don’t have dressing rooms…dressing rooms are a bonus, not an expectation when seeking a thrift store home.

The fact that this store has a seven day exchange return policy is pretty standard in the thrift store industry, For the stores that actually have a return policy….

Most stores I would say offer no returns on at least a few categories of items.

Also thrift stores price things based on the value of the item that is donated…

The idea is to get the most value for the donation so that profit can be made, while also providing a product of good quality at a reduced price to the consumer.

They’re able to sell things below comparable market prices that you would see on Facebook marketplace or Poshmark, Which benefits me.

This is a for profit thrift store and it is the most organized thrift store I have ever seen which makes sense 🤷🏽‍♀ because when your goal is to make money you actually don’t waste the value of the items that you receive.

Overall, a really great place to thrift! I mainly come for curtains/sheets/fabric b/c I use the fabric to make clothes. The linens selection here is GREAT! It rivals 2nd Ave. However, I would agree w/ some reviews that some of the prices are a bit high (e.g. 1 pillow case was $.99, whereas at 2nd ave you would get both pillowcases for that price). Personally, the price isn't a huge deterrent as I have to drive 25+ min to 2nd ave vs. 12 min to B-Thrifty.
I also found some really cute dresses.
I would say the most chaotic section is the backpacks/bags - if you're looking for a bag, you likely are going to have to dig around (but hey, that's part of the thrift experience, right?).
The shoes are organized similarly to Goodwill - some in bins above clothes racks and some on shoe racks in a separate area of the store.
The home goods section also had a great selection.

Additionally, the staff was really pleasant and seemed to be having fun working together.

Just returned from my second trip to this store and I am trilled with what I found. Of couse thrift stores are hit and miss as far as what they have from day-to-day, but I left with 4 fleece tops and a Kitchenaid mixing bowl w/attachments, all for $23 (it was a 30% off day) The store is clean, well lit, and the employees pleasant. I can see myself stopping by on a regular basis.

Very cool distressed and used goods thrift store. Huge wide-ranging inventory. Unfortunately, as is usual in such stores some of the more complex products such as electronics or electrical appliances, parts are missing that render the product useless or less useful. Prices are fairly good. They have daily specials that discount the prices further.

I think it is a good place to buy, because there is always a discount on some color of clothing, and on Mondays and Thursdays we can get a 30% discount. "thursday if you are a member".

This is a beautiful and clean. The employee are very helpful and kind, happy and with a smile. My 1st visit was a joyful and I will surely go again and also recommend this store to my friends and family.

I always get high end items here, the store is super clean, the staff is great. Only down fall and it’s not the stores fault at all, the customers that do come in do not watch their children! That is my only complaint

My go to thrift store! It’s always stocked with items, never an empty rack. However, with there being so much stuff it takes longer to find the hidden gems. Definitely worth it

Much better than the other Thrifty outlet, this thrift store is really lovely. Although I wished for dressing rooms, nonetheless, I still find them to be enjoyable.

Been going here for years - Always has a wonderful selection of clothing and the employees are so sweet!
