We are from Michigan, however had vehicles we acquired unexpectedly in NC. Had a short visit to line things up. John's response time, communication and knowledge of formal paperwork was so efficient. Definitely knows his business and market. Went out of his way to get appropriate funds and documents to necessary people and places. Three very different vehicles, moved very quickly, sold close to asking we all felt good about. John was considerate with negotiations and non-pressure. Recently, I had the pleasure of buying another car from John at Street Smart Auto. I think this is the 8th vehicle that my family has purchased from John. Both my sons, my wife and even my sister from out of state drive a vehicle that were purchased there. John sells nothing but high quality cars and doesn't beat you up with all the hidden charges that just run the cost up. Above all, John is honest and I trust him, which usually isn't the case with car salesmen. I'll never buy a car from anyone else.

All of the cars on his lot were in great shape. Due to issues on my end, we weren't able to purchase this time, but I will check out his lot when our next automotive purchase comes up. We had an excellent experience with John. He was upfront and clear on all questions asked. He was thorough in his review of the vehicle with us. He didn’t rush us or try to fast talk us. He was even kind enough to take us to the DVM to have the paperwork processed before we left with the vehicle. John was great about helping my wife and I purchase a Subaru Forester in really excellent condition. He was quick to set up a test drive, and happy to drive the car to a mechanic for an independent inspection for us. He was also willing to trade-in our old high-mileage Subaru, which was a big help not having to stress about finding a buyer online. I couldn't be happier with my experience buying a new car and selling my old car to John. His inventory was terrific; I still can't believe the great condition and low mileage of our new-to-us Subaru! Though I'd been dreading the back and forth of negotiating a good price (the worst part of buying a car), John made the whole process easy, fair, and intelligible.
