Pancakes were fluffy and lots of butter on them making them oh so delicious. Definitely worth the hype. Hot chocolate often lacks not being chocolaty enough but here it was creamy and had lots of chocolate. This is definitely a place we would come again.

We had the sweetest waitress. She brought us water right away and came back several times to check on us while we were eating.

The restaurant was very clean. The food was very fresh, delicious, all of the people. They were friendly. It's in a good location. It is very busy though, so if you go I would definitely go early early in the morning. They're only open from 7:00 a.m. To 3:00 p.m.

Very lively restaurant, come early and you will not have to wait that long. There is always a line in the morning. They were the first pancake house in Tennessee. Food and service is always great, have been here many times on family trips to the Smokies. Lunch is also great and worth stopping in for, I recommend their regular coffee, pancakes, and sandwiches.

Our first time here! We got there a few minutes before opening and beat the long line. Staff is very friendly. Clean and calm atmosphere. We sat at a table right. Near the cooks! We enjoyed watching them. I got the wild berry crepes and they were delicious! You have to try. My husband got the marvelous blintz crepes and they were just as good. They have a nice kids menu. The bears in snow are adorable! The m&ms pancakes camp with a delicious peanut butter syrup. The homemde butter and whipped cream were exquisite. Don’t let the long line discourage you. They move fast! Definitely worth a visit!

The food is really good, especially breakfast! They have a plethora of pancake and crepe dishes. They serve breakfast all day too! The atmosphere and decor is 1970’s vintage old world German. Fun place to eat!

10/10 breakfast!!
The line may look a little long, but it’s well worth it and moves fairly quickly!! We had amazing service, our waitress was on it filling our coffees! Food came out quick, and portions are big!! Absolutely love this place!

Excellent food and service!! Our breakfast go to whenever we're in town! I recommend the sweet potato pancakes if you're a fan of sweet potatoes. The Parisienne crepes are amazing as well! Actually anything you get you will not be disappointed!!

One of the best crepes I’ve ever tasted.. the Wildberry Crepes was truly WILD it was sooo good and well balanced!!! Definitely MUST TRY. Their fruit topping was not too sweet or sour, just the perfect balanced taste. Amazing. I also like their barley soup, it feels healthy and nutritious, with lots of fresh ingredients.. no wonder they get super busy. Unfortunately it was a bit hard to request/talk to the server because how crowded it was when I visited. Still a good restaurant and very recommended

The place to go for the best breakfast in Gatlinburg! We go at least once a trip sometimes 2 or 3 times if we can. The French toast is the absolute best but you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. The lunch options are also a hidden gem worth checking out.

My family of 6 went this morning for breakfast on our way out of Gatlinburg. There was a small wait with the line out front, but it moved efficiently. Most of our party ordered pancakes and some of us ordered traditional breakfasts. All of the food tasted good and pancakes were fluffy.

Everything was delicious from pancakes to crepes was well worth it the 45 min wait they make their own butter and is very good to i would recommend the peaches crepes. The blonde lady at the entrance It since to be aggravated and is understandable the amount of people they receive it reflects in the waitress to forgetting things.

This is a great place to get breakfast!!! It is always good!!! Service is great!!! Our servers have always been super attentive!!! Food is really good!!! Pancakes are just about the best that I have ever had, and really the closest to homemade that you can get!!! I would definitely check them out when you are in the area! One word of caution. It is packed out during peak times and on weekends. But, they still keep things moving!

A wonderful stop. Even with a "long line" we only waited 15 minutes to get in and get a table. Service was top notch and food was amazing. Crepes were filling (my husband will often order crepes elsewhere and leave hungry). When we take another vacation down here, we will definitely be back!

We went back to the Pancake Pantry for the second time during our recent trip to Gatlinburg. We had found this place years ago and were happy to see that it was just as amazing as we remembered! The pancakes were so fluffy, moist, and absolutely delicious. They still had a huge menu with lots of different flavor options to choose from. And let me tell you, the crepes were out of this world, and the portions were big too!

Last time we visited, they only accepted cash, but this time they had started accepting credit cards, which made things much more convenient. This place has become a tradition for us, and we'll always make it a point to visit whenever we're in the area. It's totally worth the trip, and we're already looking forward to our next visit!

This is a Gatlinburg staple, a must visit if in town. The staff are super friendly and the food is amazing, very nice deco on the inside. I’m not sure when they opened their doors, but I can remember coming in the 1980s and it still has the same country charm. Plan early to come because they close around 3pm, and early morning you will find a line wrapped around the building. Breakfast is their specialty, however, they do have a lunch menu. They have plenty of seating in the restaurant with a beautiful vaulted ceiling near the front area. I would recommend the crepes, it’s a very thin pancake that comes with your choice of toppings…very yummy. Don’t miss this place if your in town

Great little breakfast place. Best vacation pancake restaurant we been to, on par with Pocahontas Pancakes in VA Beach. Our server Erica was amazing and very friendly, she checked in with us regularly.

Due to its popularity, you may want to go earlier in the morning than later. We arrived at 10am and the restaurant was full. We waited about 20 to be seated, but the wait was well worth it.

Our favorite breakfast spot for 30+ years!
Try The Hayley Special, a secret menu item. Old fashioned pancakes + peanut butter syrup + bananas + crispy bacon. Assemble and enjoy!!

I also enjoy the Pecan Pancakes with their cinnamon syrup!
