What shines here is the atmosphere and the service. The menu is simple and the food is the same. My chicken was very dry but my daughter loved her Alfredo. Meals came with free trips to the salad bar. Prices are very fair. The "potion" drinks and the free dessert were photo worthy. Regardless of the food's simplicity this place was amazing, my daughter left with the biggest smile and it stayed that way for hours. Will definitely be back when we come this way again. My daughter's favorite characters were Spiderman, Coraline, Barbie, Macho Man Randy Savage, Bill Nye, Nacho Libre and Jesse from Toy Story.

Food is good alittle bit expensive for the adults but the service is amazing and they are so in character… we loved the bubble potion drinks. Nacho Libre was so funny and Jesse from Toy Story was amazing. Bill Nye, the science guy was so funny he comes around to the tables to take family photos for you, however there is a charge of 15.00. Would definitely go back again.

Great experience! Definable one for the books. Staff keeps it light and fun whilst indulging in their unique personalities. My kids were so excited to be recognized as friends by their favorite characters! We had Snow White as our server and she was phenomenal!! My family has been going for years, and its great to see familiar faces every time we arrive. Shout out to Thor, Bill Nye, White Rabbit, Ace Ventura, Velma!!

Our inaugural visit turned out to be a family affair filled with joy! The service was as welcoming as a family reunion, and the whimsically decorated booths added an extra layer of charm to the experience. The atmosphere was not just enjoyable; it was downright amazing. This spot is not only a feast for the taste buds but also a delight for the little ones. A great find for family fun and memorable meals!

This place was a blast. Saw it driving the highway, menu looked average, but friends convinced us to try it.

Food portions were huge, tasted great, and the staff is dressed up in a random assortment of characters. Kiddo loved it, had fun getting signatures from Bill Nye, Daphne, Lola Bunny, and more. Definitely get the potion drink! I got the Ugly Potion Drink (pic/clip added) because why not, really enjoyed it. Each table was semi-isolated in a "hut" or something of the sort, allowing for a less 'mass market' feel and much more personal experience.

Went last Saturday for my sister's graduation, got served by Macho Man 10/10 experience definitely recommend. Food was great, service was better approved for all ages

Food is always good, fun place to bring family, friends and special someone. I've enjoyed it every time I've come.

This place was awesome ,our waiter was Ace Ventura and Thor, those dudes were hilarious and they had great customer service, Ace was funny bro, dude had jokes he called me Ugly and he also called my son Edgar, because of his haircut 😂😂😂 overall if you're gonna eat at this place,make sure you have a great sense of humor, don't take anything seriously.

Great for families, kids, and the kid inside you! Loved it. All the wait staff is dressed and in character the whole time. Get the magic potion drinks for the kids! They also had balloon animals and face painting while waiting. Worth waiting! There's a small arcade too, so just look around and chill for a second. The whole restaurant has different decor and themes. Price was right. Get the burger. They're huge. And everything has a salad bar trip. Definitely try it! And TIP your wait staff! They're ENTERTAINING you!

Went to San Antonio for my birthday this past weekend, couldn’t figure out something to eat and ended up at The Magic Time Machine. We sat in Bruno’s section, and let me tell you , this was absolutely the best service we’ve ever had. We got a good laugh the whole night and some good food. Bruno was the best server and was great at his job and acting. Would highly recommend this place, as well as sitting with him! Will always remember this place, and will definitely be back. Bruno needs a raise or promotion!!!!

Every time we come we have a blast! Last time we came they didn’t have the salad bar but this time they did! We were super excited! Food is always delicious! The kids are going to have so much fun! I think I have more fun then them actually!

Had a great experience!! Great food, large portions. Salad bar was cool. Everything was juicy. Loved the face painting & balloon animals. Harley Quinn was also fun. It was our first time & we would definitely go back!!

We've come to Magic Time Machine since my kids were small and now my oldest is 17 and my youngest is 13 and they still love it. The servers are in character from beginning to end and are fun not rude. Great place to make memories, I would highly recommend going.

An honest review of Magic Time Machine... we went into it with subpar food expectations (cuz we'd been there before) but my son deserved a reward for good grades... and I didn't wanna hassle with downtown Rainforest Cafe. Yes it's dark and dank and my son asked "What's that smell? " when we entered🤣.
But the 45 min wait was really only 15 min... and we killed time playing arcade games. The service was loud and corny but fast and reliable. The salad bar was fresh. The food surpassed my expectations. My rare ribeye was flavorful and cooked well. We also got the chicken Alfredo and my son got pizza served on top of fries. There were face painters and balloon animal creators... that were both able to produce acceptable capybaras in my son's opinion😆. Definitely geared towards younger kids... but totally worth the memories made! ❤

14/15 STARS 🤑 Today was my stepdads birthday, and we had Loki as our server! We read the other reviews about the servers being rude and we were excited, Loki did not disappoint with the sass…… ABSOLUTELY 10/10 SERVICE 10/10 HUMOR AS WELL HIGHLY RECOMMEND! WHEN IM NOT BROKE IMMA TAKE MY FRIENDS HERE and yall better remember us 😡 or else…Thank yall for the over the top amazing experience unlike any other! My bf also got a pic wit Loki i thought that was fire ‼ Thanks again will be back soon 🗣🗣‼‼‼🔥🔥🔥🔥

Fun place for the entire family to experience. Plus the food is great also.

The food was good. The service was even better! We had Thor, Loki and Ace as our waiters and loved every minute of the service from these fun and attractive men.

I was a bit concerned after reading the mixed reviews about the service and food, but we had a wonderful, fun experience. Our server was Lady Gaga and she was phenomenal. Our food was great too, which was unexpected. I ordered shrimp Alfredo and the shrimp wasn't overcooked like it usually is in restaurants. It had a lot of flavor. My husband ordered the rib eye and it was cooked to perfection. This is a family friendly restaurant great for kids!

Super Cool Place! If you use the restroom, good luck finding your table...lol You'll see what I mean =)
