Took my car in to replace an alternator, and the service was great, very pleased, will return for future service

Run from the guy...... He has been around for 25 plus years and I don't know how he has survived....... His shop is nasty and stuff just pilled everywhere.. I took a tractor starter to him to rebuild expecting it to be $80 to $100 to rebuild as typically paid at other shops for same bisch starter. I about flipped out when he charged $320.00 to rebuilt it..... A new starter is available everywhere for $160.00..... now here is where it gets good......the starter lasted 92 days, only used on a couple of occasions as this is a seldom used tractor on a small tract of land so it hadn't started the tractor more than 5 times..... It shorted out and bushing siezed from improper clearance...... Took it back and he offered nothing to help other than to do another $320 rebuild...... Left the start with him and bought a new one......... I would recommend that you find some else to rebuild your starter. Check out Auto Start in Lewisville, TX.
