Celina Star Cafe

Took a 45-min motorcycle ride to Celina for breakfast. The weather was great.

Had the omelet and side of French toast.

Service is fantastic
Every single person working here very nice.

I’ve been coming here since they opened their doors in Celina and I’m never disappointed when I leave. Just talking to the owners and wait staff is enough to bring me back, then, the food comes. Absolutely amazing food and service all the way around.

Absolutely sterling service and above top notch food. I had the Corned Beef Hash, hash browns, eggs over easy, and 2 pancakes. The coffee was fresh and delicious, and refills were easily performed by a smiling staff member.

These may have been the very best pancakes I've ever had in my life, and I'm not being hyperbolic. They were absolutely fantastic. Despite quite a few customers in the house the food came out VERY quickly and was cooked to order, nothing dry or cold.

When I think of a good breakfast spot in my head the service we got today is EXACTLY what I hope for. Excellent food, brought out quickly with a smile, and treated with respect and care. Please, take care of your staff and keep them doing what they're doing now. We tipped well, and they deserved it. We need more people and restaurants like this.

To the Staff: Thank y'all for being happy to be at work. It was absolutely a pleasure to be in your company and talk to you all. I cannot remember the last time I went into a business and saw so many smiling employees that cared enough to ask what we needed or how we were doing. I can't compliment the staff enough.

My first visit to Celina, and with a family member now living there, I will be visiting there and the Celina Star Cafe again. The food was absolutely delicious. I had an omelette with bacon, spinach and tomatoes that was so big and filling. The grits had great flavor. Everyone in my group seemed to enjoy their food, but I can only speak to how great mine was. The service was attentive and patient. Can't wait to go back.

Great place to have breakfast with your family or a friend. Breakfast came hot, fast and very delicious. The waitress's attention was very excellent, she answered all the questions and she was very attentive and that was her first day of work. We will return with it to enjoy it again. We recommend it!

I got the country skillet. Hash browns, biscuits, gravy, and eggs. This was so good, I only ate half so I could enjoy it the next day too. It was just as good the next morning. My wife got the Philly cheese steak. Since I only ate half of mine, I stole some of hers. It was also pretty good. Parking lot is a little tricky. It looks like you can pull out on the end but you can't.

We drive from Frisco (about 20min) to come here almost every Sunday lately & it’s always great.

Come before 9/9:30 to beat the crowd, they get busy & will have a wait (this is a good sign).

The owner is very welcoming & involved. The staff is friendly and all work very well together, as a team. Your drinks will always stay full. 👍🏼

So far we’ve had the Bacado, Gravy Train, French Toast, few of the Skillets, Chicken and Waffles, the All American….

Had the chicken & waffles today. The batter on the chicken is flaky & savory, the chicken was juicy. I like to drizzle honey & Buffalo sauce over the chicken (a little honey hot sauce).

We’ll be back, we always come back. 🤗

Stop by this Cafe if you find yourself in Celina, good food and friendly staff. I had the Irish Benedict and it was really good. The food came out quickly and the portions were large.

Haven’t had good breakfast and service from Deza my amazing waitress in a long time. I am glad I was driving by and saw it by coincidence.
Family owned, very traditional, yet good set up and good variety on menu for breakfast n lunch! Glad this is close to home I’ll be a new regular here.

Amazing experience here.. the ambience is cozy and welcoming..Food is absolutely delicious..hands down the best hashbrowns i had till now..Loved loved loved their freshly squeezed orange juice.. it does taste like freshly squeezed vs how other places call it freshly squeezed but serve the basic orange juice.. Would make it my go to brunch place now..

Outstanding food choice, coffee was nice and strong (my preference), and food was served with a smile. It was really crowded when we went there we were placed next to a table at 15, but everything was under control and we were able to enjoy our breakfast no problems.

Service was the best I have had in months. Our waitress was excellent, she never let our coffee get half empty, and made us feel like we were her only table (which we were far from being).

It was our first time in, but will be far from our last.

Everything we ordered was very good. I had a skillet, my wife had the Migas, and my youngest had their Oreo Pancakes, which looked very good.

If you haven't been, go. This is how the diners I grew up going to were, excellent service and food.

This was our breakfast go-to place for years. Service was always amazing and food fantastic! We have moved away and miss it, but will definitely go back if we’re in the area.

Awesome find!! The food is great and service even better. We had omelets, pancakes, skillets and breakfast burrito. Portions generous and food tastes great.

The homemade chicken noodle soup was delicious and the side salad was fresh and a large portion. Will definitely eat here again.

Always consistent. Servers are kind and efficient and the food is always up to par. Try the breakfast tacos!
