Victor's Wood Grill

All aspects of this restaurant are excellent. I couldn't have asked for a better experience from my server, Kevin. The goat cheese flatbread and pork milanese I took pictures of tasted superb.

Excellent on all fronts. Great service and a very warm, homey atmosphere. Don't be fooled by the unassuming menu. The food is so well done and there were some nice creative touches with ingredients that kept things very interesting. I had the shrimp cocktail; shrimp was the perfect texture & flavor. The cocktail sauce with extra chips on the side really put this dish over the top. The short rib was excellent as well; so tender and rich in flavor. The roasted root vegetables and mashed potatoes had the perfect consistency and flavor. This is definitely my go to for DFW when I'm in town now.

Outstanding food, great service. We were visiting the area and saw the reviews so decided to try Victor’s for dinner. Our party had the delicious flatbread and meatballs as starters. Then we had pan roasted chicken, catfish, salmon, trout, and meatloaf. All entrees were excellent and the crunchy crusted, tender inside bread was served warm. Wish we lived nearby so we could visit often. Great place!

Friends of mine took me to Victor's during my visit to Texas. We joked that I flew from Canada just to dine here, and after, it wouldn't be far fetched that I would. Amazing family owned quality restaurant, perfect for a lovely night with friends.

Our waiter, Kevin, was fantastic!! Every morsel of my goat cheese stuffed chicken breast with spinach...was delicious. Melt in your mouth delicious.
Our guests from Knoxville chose the smoked porkchop with grits & greens. If you've never treated yourself to Victor's Wood Grille..Make a reservation...you deserve it!! You'll be glad you did!!

Small restaurant in Coppell with a subtle elegant ambiance. Food was freshly prepared and the service was superb. Excellent selection of wines to choose from, great for a weekday dinner.

Their mussels and Arctic Char were excellent, beautifully cooked and the chocolate cake was so decadent. We will most certainly be back.

Had family in town and everything we ordered was spot on. Super flavorful and exceeded expectations. Happy to recommend to anyone. Quite possibly the best meatloaf I’ve had. Our server Westley was helpful, attentive and friendly. 👍👍

Based on the reviews we went for an early dinner.
Hostess was SO sharp, explained that they were booked up but could seat us if we were OK having only 90 minutes to dine! Once we were seated we met Kevin! Holy Cow! What a pro! Back before he was born I trained servers for Marriott - this young man was a professional!
He took the time to insure we knew about the day’s specials and the menu itself. Absolutely terrific service.
We opted to share a salad which they graciously split for us! Our meals were amazing. My “meatloaf” was NOT your Mammas meatloaf!! It was one of the best I’ve ever had!
My wife ordered the steak special = 5 stars.
The ambiance was old school charm with no pretentious vibe. Rather a comfortable welcome feel.
Enough said: go!

Order the artichoke and pork melanese. Both were exceptional. The artichoke could be a little larger as it was rather small but still really good.

Excellent service and food. Having lived in the area for 10+ years and just now discovering this place. I am glad we did. Seasonal menu. Salad and meatloaf were awesome. Also the bartender is excellent.

Incredible restaurant. Live it. Cocktails are amazing and every food item is outstanding. The atmosphere is very intimate and cozy. Not noisy so you can carry on a business conversation as we were here for a business meeting. Salmon is incredible. Service at the bar and the dining area is simply awesome. Will be back.

Love this place. A friend of mine told me about this restaurant and I went there, with low expectations of good food and service. I was soo wrong. Service was great, servers were tentative (without being bothersome), and the food was great (taste and presentation). Already went back twice. Highly recommend.

I’ve had some tasty food here in North Texas and wow! This place was amazing. Really enjoyed the ambiance, staff was top notch, food was colorful, fresh, flavorful and everything in between.

Kevin was our server, it was his first day. Had great conversation with him, he was very attentive and it was quite the “fine dining” experience. We never had to ask for anything, he noticed drinks were getting low, and he filled very promptly.

One of THE BEST experiences I have ever had at a restaurant! Not to mention this was my first time here and found this place off of a random Google Maps search.

Great dinner option if northwest of Dallas! Both the filet and the chocolate bag dessert were fantastic!

This was an amazing find! Kevin, our waiter, was fabulous. He was super knowledgeable about the menu, pleasant and enjoyed some witty banter with my family. He was attentive and not over bearing. He made menu suggestions for different courses. Most of all he was able to go toe to toe with my father in law 🤣

This place was absolutely amazing. It is tucked into a quiet strip mall area and easy to miss. I highly recommend taking the time to find it you will not be sorry. The service was top notch especially since we had a large group. The waiter was very knowledgeable about the food and drink menu. The appetizers came out quick and were delicious. Several people got the special which was to die for. For food this good it is reasonably priced. I will be making several trips back in the future to try everything!

Excellent locally owned restaurant. Friendly staff, outstanding food menu and open seating. Older building which gives it character. Small bar area off dining room allows for intimate socializing with friends. Can't wait to go back for more.

This place is a bit unassuming from the outside but, excellent food, service, staff, once you step inside. I had a well-made old-fashioned with a plate of scallops and sautéed spinach. I can’t complain one bit. Talk about an excellent dinner. I definitely recommend this place for anybody in the area whether visiting, or local, if you are looking for a solid dinner.
