5 Stars: Blooms and Balloons with a Side of Giggles at Tom Thumb!

Just when I thought the Tom Thumb Floral Department couldn't get any brighter, Mitch strolled in and turned the place into a live-action cartoon. Clad in a Donald Duck costume, due to a lost bet, that was equal parts absurd and adorable, he was a spectacle of feathers and fun. The yellow leggings were as vivid as the sunflowers on display, and the big, fluffy bottom could rival the puffiest hydrangeas.

The staff at Tom Thumb were the perfect hosts for this fowl play, ensuring that Mitch's embarrassment was as full-blown as the balloons he was waiting to be filled. They were in no hurry, letting the anticipation (and the giggles of onlookers) build, as Mitch struck a series of poses that had everyone reaching for their cameras. The sight of Donald Duck amid the blooms was an instant classic.

But the pièce de résistance was the parade to the checkout counters, where Mitch, with his bouquet of balloons, had to waddle through the entire store. With every step, his oversized webbed feet flapped, his costume's tail feathers shook, and the joy spread. It was a masterclass in how to be the center of attention—whether he liked it or not.

The Tom Thumb Floral Department didn't just deliver on service; they provided a story to tell and a memory that will bloom in our hearts forever. So here's to Mitch, for wearing those tights with pride, and to the Tom Thumb staff, for reminding us that sometimes, life is just better with a side of laughter. You've truly made Coppell a happier place!

I haven't been able to get to the grocery store in a while but when I went in to Tom Thumb, it was remodeled! It looked really nice and clean. The meat and produce was really fresh (it always does). I was able to find everything with no problems and they had some great deals! The people that work there are very friendly and helpful.

Love shoppong Tom thumb. They alway have great sale which really helps me out.

Great store, always clean & well stocked. I always buy my rotisserie & baked chicken there because it's the best of any Tom Thumb in town that I've been to. Their bakery is also excellent. I have on occasion gone in and made purchases in the morning before work, and was greeted pleasantly and rung up quickly by the cashier on duty. This location is my favorite grocery store in the Coppell area, by far.

I had a terrible situation happen to me todsy i had a catered event set for tomorrow and Walmart woth whom i had placed my order with cancelled on me less than 26 hours prior ti the engagement.. i went to various locations to try to get tge order in atleast 24 hours prior to but not one of the 4 locations i went plus four other places all to pricey others not enough time to place the order while others simply just didnt couldn't or wouldn't fill my need. I was so frustrated and so deflated but i decided to on a whim try our friendly me neighborhood Tom Thumb.. i was reluctant to say the least already on my way home not sure what to do but i said.. sure why not.. well i was greeted by Miles and i have to say.. i was floored by his immediate response. He enthusiasticly informed me that he would be delighted to fill the order for me i was just speechless i asked if he had the product necessary and he also called his supervisor to make sure everything was copastetic after a short wait he returns and tells me all is a go!! I mean wow here i am frustrated on my last leg running around like a headless chicken tryna fill the order and avert a crisis and lo and behold this Gem of an employee saves the day!!! Miles was is a great asset to the company this man works at 1pm tomorrow and informed me he is the cook and he will ensure the order is filled by the time i need it at 6pm tomorrow!! I tried to pay upfront mostly to put them at ease about such a hefty order on such short notice but Miles again surprises me by saying its not necessary and that.. he got me! I just had to dab him lol what a Champ!! I went in search of a manager i needed to inform Somebody anybody of this exceptional character they have on their hands and was met by Antonnete who was as happy as i was of the outcome in my desperate time of need i was also greatly satisfied with her as well as Miles informing me that even of i had showed up an hour prior to my engagement they would have fille myy order with gusto!! I mean talk about above and beyond!!! What a pleasant experience to say the least im not so surprised though this store located in Coppell is our usual place to shop at but i wasnt expecting the level of commitment that Miles showed.. i mean.. wow.. just wow. Miles deserves special recognition for this and it is my mission to see to it he gets it. My words are but a kind gesture of appreciation for him i do hope he soon gets the recognition of his fellow employees his managers and the CEOs of Tom Thumb pls make sure Miles is recognized for the exceptional work he does and dare i say.. he gets promoted abd given a raise he clearly deserves that and more. Miles if you read this... Pls know i am humbled by your grace and i hope you know that your a Champion in my book!!

I had no idea what this was (I've only ever grocery shops in the North). At first blush, it looks to be an extremely standard grocery store. As we worked our way to the back and we're looking for some more specific items for baking and grilling, I was impressed with the selection and quality, particulary for the meats. The whole store seemed clean. Not too busy and generally seemed walkable from many surrounding neighborhoods.

This is a great grocery store, friendly employees, the app is easy to use and they have some really good deals. However I think management needs to be a bit more polite and professional with their staff. Young lady named Jayden was extremely condescending to the cashier checking me out when she had some issues with applying a coupon. It was difficult to watch and I thought very unprofessional. Management should treat staff with more patience, the cashier was sweet and friendly and I did not think it was appropriate how she was being treated by her own supervisor.

Great selection on all your grocery needs. Would highly recommend trying out their brand ground beef. Promise you won't buy from Kroger again.

This location is the cleanest Tom Thumb I've ever been to. Everything on my list was in stock and I had no problems finding anything. I even found some amazing deals on name brand 5 blade disposable razors for only $1.99 a package. Plus I saved 52% off my final subtotal by using the digital coupons and just for you coupons in the app!

It's a great store and meets all my needs. Usually always has what I'm looking for.

A lady named Jaden helped me at the deli and a guy named AJ helped me in the aisle. They both were very young and so polite, friendly, and helpful! I visited a location in Coppell that I did not know about. This location was much less crowded than the one in Irving.

When meat is in sale..it's greatness! Good prices in some things esp sale items compared to other places. Everyone seems friendly and professional so no complaints

I shop here ss well as work here. All the employees are friendly and always willing to assist customers and fellow teammates. Mason working the front end always make sure that customers are able to checkout in a timely manner. This is a great store to work or shop.

I put a review a yr ago and I couldn't put another.. but I wanted to give props to Miles in the deli.. Thank you for saving my daughters birthday party.. I went to 4 Walmarts.. other chicken places.. This place.. My naborhood Tom Thumb with Miles filled the order!! The chicken was sooo good people asked where it's from.. It's from my naborhood Tom Thumb! Thank You

Love the customer service at the Coppell Tom Thumb on Denton Tap! Most recently an amazing experience working with Ezra, the deli manager...We had a tight turn around on feeding our Distribution Center teams (300 employees) for our Christmas lunches. The Coppell Tom Thumb deli came to the rescue with just a few hours notice. Our plans had to change last minute and Ezra & her deli team made magic happen and they had our order ready within a few hours just in time for a great celebration with our teams. And the food was so good...We ordered fried & baked chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy & green beans. It was all really just so good...Ezra & her team saved the day for us!! So thankful for her gracious approach to helping us with our Christmas luncheon challenge!!

Great deli staff and selection, good prices.clean store.

There have been many Tom Thumbs to close recently, but I hope not this one. The gentleman at the butcher block (said his was Arlex) was beyond professional and courteous. The store was clean and fronted, checkout was painless. My family and I will be returning regularly

I've always enjoyed shopping at Albertsons grocery stores and Tom Thumb is no different. They have a good selection and reasonable prices with plenty of items on savings each week.
