Over The Top Quilting Studio

I joined the world of quilters in September of 2020. My husband gave me the rental certification class at Over the Top Quilting as a Christmas gift. I’ve been renting their APQS longarms since then and so could not speak more highly of the owners and staff. They are amazingly patient and kind. They are simply incredible at hand holding - and they do a LOT of it when I come in. 😂😂 They have a great selection of wide backs and batting. Their prices are extremely reasonable. If you aren’t sure how long a project is going to take - I would definitely suggest renting the whole day instead of a few hours as it’s a nice discount on the hourly rental price! Highly, highly recommend!

Loved my first class at Over The Top. I’ll be back for more. I took the Binding class and was quite nervous. The instructor calmed my fears as she explained vocabulary and shared the why’s behind her methods before explaining step by step guides. They had all the materials needed to learn (take your own machine) so no added costs. Great experience. I’ll take home my skills and be able to complete projects.

Chris and Susan operate the most heavenly quilting studio! The Longarms are well maintained, the studio is clean and organized but most importantly, everyone on the staff is so knowledgeable and helpful and PATIENT❤. It truly is my new happy place.

I had a fabulous experience quilting my first quilt at Over the Top. Susan gave me the 3 hour introductory course. And then amazing Theresa held my hand and guided me through the actual quilting process on my quilt. I'm going back for more. The support and expertise is wonderful.... NO frustrations on my part.... I had 4 memorial quilts made as Christmas gifts. They were absolutely amazing. I brought the clothes in early oct. and the quilts were done before thanksgiving. Chris made the process so easy and communicated with me the entire time. I definitely recommend doing business here.

Do you want to know what’s better than a Mom and Pop shop??? It’s a Sister-Sister shop. Chris and Susan have welcome me with open arms into the quilting world. I was so nervous to use a long arm machine. So I took the class and now I am in there about ever 6-8 weeks to quilt something. They are always willing to help and ensure you are confident in your project. They also have the best wide backing you’ll find in town!!!

Have been hand quilting and teaching hand quilting all my life. But arthritis has made hand quilting such a painful chore. The ladies and their long arms have brought back the joy of quilting! Being able to introduce my granddaughter to the method has also helped to turn her into a modern quilter. Tks

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this quilting studio!! I completed their rental certification class and have done longarm rental a handful of times now. Each time, the ladies at Over the Top are so kind and supportive in ensuring my quilt turns out just as I wanted! They're so patient with me, as a rookie quilter with all sorts of questions. Chris and Susan have both been fantastic and so welcoming! Theresa is the kindest teacher with so much knowledge to share and such a passion to share her knowledge. Jennifer is so calm and reassuring! She checks in while also encouraging some independent problem solving. Pat is also a wealth of information who always makes me feel better about having a million projects in my work in progress stack! I am so glad I found this studio and am always eager to go back for my next visit! See y'all soon!

Awesome experience at Over the Top. Owners and staff were amazing and so helpful. I love that they love that you are there and the experience I am getting is so much fun! I will continue to come here and buy fabric and longarm my quilts.

My friends and I rented the sewing room next door. We had the best time. Clean, organized, well lit! We were in Heaven. The best part, I was able to pick up 2 quilts, that they quilted for me. My quilts were perfect, and both completely exceeded my expectations. It’s my happy place! I can’t wait to go back!

Everyone is so helpful at Over the Top. My mind seems to go blank when I am there, even though I’ve done many quilting projects with them. They just jump right in for anything I need.

I love this place. It give me the chance to finish my quilts professionally and quickly and still technically be able to say I did them myself! I love the environment and hanging out with other quilters while I work on my own projects!

This is my happy place! It’s been a stressful week and I enjoyed myself so much. Always fun, light hearted and even though I work there, when I come in as customer they treat me like an A plus customer and help me when needed. I love this place.

The Over the Top crew is just that, Over the Top in customer service. They always know the just right quilting pattern for my project.

No need to be afraid to finish your quilt on one of the many longarm machines at Over the Top Quilting. After taking the class on how to load the quilt layers on the machine, getting familiar with the machine and setting up the quilting pattern, the staff continues to be helpful and is always right there when you need them. You are not expected to remember everything from time to time using the machines, which was a worry of mine. Each time I go in, I get the same great service from the staff!

Long Arm Rental: Susan and team are amazing! They all go out of their way to ensure you have everything you need to create your master piece. They have a superb understanding of their long arm machines and software. They are all talented quilters and the creative power among them and the other clients is priceless.

What a unique place! I took a longarm class with Chris and it was SO much fun! She and her business partner/sister Susan were welcoming and engaging, and the one-on-one class moved at a pace suitable for my skill level (beginner!) and aptitude. The longarm machines and software are a marvel! They are top of the line and well maintained. I look forward to renting time on them to put a final flourish to my quilt projects.

I had a very positive experience at Over The Top Quilting Studio recently. Susan taught me the Quilt Path 5 Zone program which is the latest update to my APQS quilting machine. Over The Top offers certification classes for the quilting machines and their store sells all the products that you might need to create your own quilts. I took my certification class 2 years ago and I can say quilting is rocking my world! Thank you Susan, Chris, Pat and Theresa for all the guidance you have given me since day one! This is the place to go to!
