Lucy's Fried Chicken

Making a run to Leander to pick up "Marketplace Finds" and we decided to stop and grab a late lunch Lucy's Fried Chicken in Cedar Park! Holy Cow yall...it was AMAZING and we highly recommend it!! My boys wanted fried chicken 🙄 but I didn't. Here they were able to get the most moist fried chicken ever and I got the most amazing friend chicken spaghetti that I've ever tasted!!! They had really good food for the prices and the service terrific! Everyone was so friendly!! We will definitely be going back next time we're in the area! And bonus points for being right behind Austin Steam Train Association 😉

Lucy's doesn't just have amazing fried chicken all the other foods are great. I've had their fried chicken spaghetti casserole before as well and it's amazing. Today I wanted to try their buffalo wings as well as their onion rings.

the buffalo wings are a little bit different than what your normal used to their barbecue smoke and then coated so they're not your typical fried crispy type Wing but they are amazingly delicious and it's the entire Wing from the shoulder out so definitely plenty to eat. Their onion rings are great it's a heavy beer batter type coating on it the slices of onions could have been a little bit thicker but outside of that everything was perfect and of course always wonderful service

This place absolutely knocked it outta the park. From the cleanliness of the entire establishment to the perfectly cooked chicken tenders. I ordered a chicken tender basket and some okra, a Dos Xx and waited. The bartender was very friendly and helpful. As soon as my order was in my beer hit the bartop ice cold and dressed perfectly. A couple of moments later a man I assume the Mgr or owner informed me it would be a little longer cause they were making a new batch of tenders. Man was it worth the wait. Perfectly fried to golden brown , crispy and most importantly still juicy. Yes this is way chicken was meant to be. The fried okra was also perfectly cooked and delicious. I will definitely be back to slam more yardbird here.

Just delicious! Diablo Oysters were wonderful and spicy fire. Chicken Fried Steak, Fried Chicken, and margaritas did not disappoint. One slice of the peanut butter (Elvis) pie ended up with us buying two whole pies to take home! Going to be out new favorite spot when we drive into town!

Food was very good. It is fantastic as a parent to have a playground and outdoor seating that is covered. It helps the kids get out of the sun when it is too hot. We went on a Tuesday and they were having a 1/2 of bottle of wine special. The kids were able to play around and the adults were able to get drinks and socialize without issue.

Friendly service and excellent food. It's been a while since I last was at a Lucy's restaurant and there were more options on the menu than I expected including a burger. There were 5 of us for dinner. Everyone got something different and enjoyed their meals. They had a couple options for oysters on the half shell and the fried chicken was excellent. Also there is a little play space outside that kept the kids occupied before dinner. We will be back to try some other things!

Hands down one of the best places in CP for a kid friendly happy hour...specifically on a Friday nights. Half of house drinks, great fried chicken but even more so, one of the best trout salads I’ve ever had! I definitely recommend this place, so far they haven’t let me down!

My wife and I had brunch here and loved it! The atmosphere is a mix of chic and country. Blues and country play over the speakers. Our waiter was helpful and very knowledgeable. I was impressed with the selection of specially cocktails available and the craft beer on tap. The menu is also pretty extensive for a fried chicken joint. They even have fresh raw oysters! We started with the jalapeno cornbread with garlic and chive butter. It's really flavorful! The mimosa my wife had was mixed with the right proportions (more champagne than o.j.). We had the chicken and waffles for or meal. The waffles are smaller, very dark, and taste like they're fried too! Very delicious with the syrup. The fried chicken is hot, fresh and comes a dark golden brown. The white breast meat is fresh and juicy and the batter is super crisp and crunchy without being too greasy. It was so good we were picking every crumb of batter and every morsel of chicken off the bone! This is the way fried chicken should be! The plate comes with 2 waffles and 2 chicken breast and is well worth the $11 each we paid for them. With food drinks and service like this Lucy's is the only place we're going for fried chicken from now on!

The Basket, comes with 4-pieces of chicken, is outstanding. The chicken is crunchy fried on the outside and super moist and tender on the inside. Fantastically tasty. Also try the fried devil eggs. Where else can you find these? Again, really tasty. Nice atmosphere and good service.

Each time I have visited this location I have been very pleasantly surprised by both the quality of the food and friendliness of the staff. So much so, that we decided to host my daughter’s birthday luncheon here! We had a wonderful time, special thanks to Lars who went above and beyond to accommodate and welcome our entire party. Thank you to Lars, to the friendly and helpful male bartender, and to the rest of the staff for making us feel at home. Kensie Rose LOVED her bday lunch!

The foods always really good! Last time we went on a Thursday they were out of Oysters (we really only come to destroy 4 plates of oysters and some apps)

But we had the Cesar salad, corn bread side, and the chicken fried steak.

They were all delicious! Except the corn bread was a little rough. Seemed like it was next to be turned into the croutons. It was delicious the next day after a quick toss in the microwave with a cup of water to rehydrate it. No complaints at all though because that was my original plan for whatever was left.

Their chicken fried steak is always killer! Massive portions as you would expect from a chicken joint. The potatoes are DELICIOUS! I could have ate $20 in taters and gravy alone.

The Cesar salad was good. Nothing special other than the cornbread croutons. Ask for a side of chicken to go ontop and it will kick it up to downtown flavor town for sure!

The staff is always friendly. We went on a Thursday rainy afternoon and they were dead. The waitress was wonderful and brought out a water bowl for our puppy. She also kept my tea full at all times, which is usually hard because I'll drink a pitcher every 30 mins.

All around we love going in and having lunch. I'm sure they're busy for dinner because everything we've had is always amazing.

This is the best fried chicken and service I've ever experienced, our server was Robert! He was quick friendly and funny offered amazing recommendations and made sure we had an amazing time. Lucy's never disappoints! And they have always knocked it out if the park. They have it all, the atmosphere, the service, and the food!

Great place for comfort food. We had the chicken spaghetti and Revival chicken sandwich. Both were delicious and freshly prepared. We topped off the evening with some banana pudding. Overall, a low-key, wonderful dining experience. With lots on the menu that looked good, definitely heading back soon.

So glad they moved to this location. Lucy’s has my favorite fried chicken and the staff here is wonderful!

Such a fun place to eat. From there outstanding drink menu to the perfectly cooked chicken and sides, its all very delicious.

Staff was very friendly, the service was great, and the food was fresh and delicious. We absolutely loved the sides (recommend their mashed sweet potatoes) and were so excited for great gluten free fried chicken!

How does the chicken fried steak and burger come from a chicken joint? Sorry, we got into the food when it dawned on us that we need to document the goodness.

Top notch food and service today! Went today after soccer with the kids and they enjoyed the play ground greatly! We were greater within seconds by Art the bar manager who was extremely friendly and polite. We seated our self on the patio after being told he was the only one on the floor plus running bar. We expected some wait but were impressed with his genuine attitude and prompt check backs. He took our order fairly quick and wrote not one thing down! Within minutes 4 other families had come to sit and order on the patio and several tables were occupied inside... Art rocked it along with the kitchen staff and we didn't have any issues with food or drinks. Will be back again! And again! Thanks for the excellent service and awesome attitude!
