Edward Jones - Financial Advisor: Jordan Brown, CFP®

I have been working with Jordan over the past few months to start financial planning for me and my family. In all honesty I really had no clue about what all a financial planner does and if I ever would even need his assistance. I have met with Jordan multiple times to discuss our family’s financial plans, current situation and the goals that we have for the future. Jordan listened to me more than he spoke, he completely took into account every need and concern that I had, and provided me with practical courses of action to take in regards to our financial future. At no point have I ever sensed Jordan pushing his own agenda on me. At all times his reccomendations were clearly in my best interest as a client. I can’t tell you how thankful I am for his guidance at this pivotal point in my family’s life. I feel extremely confident about our financial future now that I am working with Jordan.

I know personally, that even though Jordan is younger than what you would expect from a financial advisor, his wisdom and knowledge goes beyond his years. He is extremely professional in every respect, considerate and forthright. I have been working with Jordan for over a year and a half now. I was a fresh doctor out of school with 200k debt to my name, with little to invest. He took his time to explain my options and investment opportunities given my circumstances, and has been very detailed with my portfolio even though I know for a fact I am not making him much money right now with the amount of money I can invest.

Doesn't matter if you are investing a lot of money or a little, you will still get the same attention from Jordan regardless. Really knows his stuff. Being young, in my opinion, is a good thing. Edward Jones manages our retirement accounts based on our expectation, and have exceeded our expectations.  Our channel of communication is through Jordan, who provides a personalize approach to select the best investment package that fit our needs.

Because we live overseas, it is especially critical we have a committed financial advisor who can service our needs, internationally.  We’ve set up a routine phone conference (usually once a quarter) or in urgent situation (market selloff as example) with Jordan, and in prep for those conversations he would proactively send news letters that outline Edward Jones inside prospectives and outcome projections.

In addition, Jordan analyzes our income and projected spending so we can allocate the investments accordingly. One example is when we need cash overseas, Jordan assisted us by:
1) Reserve cash for emergency use based on our spending pattern “proactively”, so we can sell funds at it’s peak as one way to maximize our investment.
2) Transfer the funds to our oversea bank in a timely manner, with his upper management on the phone conference, to ensure the money transfer is based on our quantity and timing of the money transfer.

We know we are in good hands with Jordan and Edward Jones, and trust their ability to manage our retirement accounts so that my wife and I can spend more time and efforts on other things, like traveling without having to worry about managing our retirement funds.
