A friend of mine on the West Coast is a licensed Roofing specialist and helped guide me through finding a roofer to hire. I had all the big guys and a few smaller guys come out and give me quotes (6 total). Ethical was steps above the rest. Everyone else wanted to sell me, they didn’t listen to my concerns. My attic was not properly vented and my attic had mold in it. Ethical approached my roof…Ethically. They fixed the issues and replaced my roof with a top of the line shingle. They were on time and communication was great. Shingle warranties are meaningless (Singles have a lifespan) but Ethicals 10 year labor warranty with the Certainteed Shingle makes for a win. I would recommend them to friends and family. Oh - and the price…very fair.

Stay away from the sleazy hacks with pushy salespeople and call Ethical.

Ethical Exteriors did a full replacement of my flat roof with added insulation and exceeded my expectations. Nathan is very knowledgeable and communicative. Being in sales myself, I appreciated his straightforwardness. I could tell right away he ran his business with integrity but.. I did my due diligence and called several roofing companies and their pricing was better than competitors with a lesser product.(Is this too good to be true!?) NOPE.. The crew worked long hours, took pride in their work and were fantastic to deal with. Even the gentleman that picked up the dumpster used a blower to clear off my patio “in case there were any nails laying around”. It’s typically not fun having work done to your house but somehow this was a pleasurable experience. Thank you for doing such a great job!

We had a minor repair done on our roof but it was too steep for me to tackle. Mark and Dillon, however, made it look easy! Very nice young men! Would not hesitate to recommend Ethical Exteriors to our family and friends!

We had several issues with our siding on our home and we're frustrated looking for a company or contractor to come and help and kept getting no where due to the claim that the job was "too small". We found ethical exteriors and they were communicative and friendly and helped with multiple smaller issues around the house and were able to get us scheduled within a reasonable time. The contractors were helpful and also communicative, even willing to come back and help us clean new skylights that had manufacturer markings. We would use them again for any issues with the exterior of the home.

Only reason my husband and I are giving Ethical Exteriors 5 stars is because there isn't a 10 star rating available! They installed our roof several years ago, resolving several issues left from original construction. They were top notch on every level. Now, 9 years later we had a problem. Nathan stood behind the work, even though he didn't own the company at the time we purchased our roof. He's great to do business with and the company again is top notch at every level - from the helpful, courteous office staff promptly scheduling an appointment, to the straight-forward diagnosing the problem to the completion of the job. We'd recommend Ethical Exteriors to anyone.

Fantastic group of guys who replaced my whole roof in three days, and there was sure alot of work! Priced very reasonably, and went above and beyond to keep me informed of any issues encountered. I highly recommend them!

Nathan Wood and his company is exceptional on all levels including communication from pre-work to completion with quality work performed. Workers are professional and dependable. Status of job at end of everyday was provided. Spectacular clean up at end of job. Roof looks great!

It is rare that the name of a company reflects the company itself, but Ethical Exteriors sure does. We had a roof leak that needed to be found and fixed. I wasn't ready for a complete overhaul. After several tries I am pretty sure that they got it. Nathan and his crew kept looking and trying. They were determined to find it and fix the problem. The problem was in a rather flat section of the roof that went over our deck. Once they ripped off the shingles it was obvious that it had been leaking for a long time. Installation was poor. Unfortunately we did not notice the problem when we purchased the house. The pricing for the repair was very reasonable and no additional charge for any come back. My next step, in about 10 years, will be to replace the entire roof and Ethical Exteriors will be getting the job.

I am so pleased with this company. They replaced my roof and my gutters. The job was done very professionally. They used High quality materials. They left everything clean. The workers were very respectful and friendly.

Nathan, Kim, and the whole team were great! Had a small leak in my roof, indicated by water spots and cracking in the ceiling. Nathan came out within a day of my initial call to inspect, and someone (I didn't catch his name, but he was also great) came out within a week of signing the estimate. The portion of the roof where the leak was was fixed within a couple hours.

Team did a fantastic job, my flat roof project was one of kind and not easy. Even though we had to reschedule the roof a few times, the team was always responsive and kept me in the loop 100%. Kim and Nathan were so attentive to customer service and very trustworthy. I would highly recommend working with ethical exterior.

We had Ethical Exteriors replace our roof and gutters after a massive hail storm in June. Nathan was very prompt in his responsiveness to see our home, as well as the quote. He was incredibly reasonable on his quote, unlike many of the other "storm chasers" trying to get work. They began our roof on Tuesday and wrapped it on Thursday. The roof looks fantastic, and their workers were very polite and professional. At the end of the job, they had our yard and landscaping all cleaned up, as if they were not there. I would highly recommend Ethical Exteriors for any roofing/gutter projects.

Todd is a great man, honest and forthright. We got ourselves into trouble with other companies and masonry guys and we really were lost. We had water coming into our home around the chimney, and we could not find out why. Todd did not quit, he made a promise and stood by it. He follows up regularly to check if things are still in good shape. You can't go wrong with using this company and Todd whatever you need done.

My home’s roof was ready to be replaced and I solicited quotes from several companies both large and small. I wanted the existing shingles and underlayment removed and new roofing installed. The company’s owner, Nathan Wood came out and discussed the project with me. He later submitted an extremely comprehensive proposal that included detailed Aerial photos of the roof with overlying measurements. The crew that did my job was courteous, thorough and quick. At the end of workday day, all debris was removed from my yard and a worker ran a large magnet over the property to pick up any nails that came off of the roof. My new roof is beautiful and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Thank you Nathan, Kim and Crew!!!

Great experience with Ethical Exteriors! They put a large crew on the job and knock it out quickly. Everyone was very courteous and they did a great job with the cleanup. We love the new roof and gutters. We 100% recommend them!

Did an excellent job replacing ~75 square of roofing on our house, pole barn, and small outbuilding after the 2023 hailstorm in areas of Livingston County, MI. Very good communications and follow-up for several minor issues was quick and effective. Highly recommended.
