We were blown away when we stepped into this magical little cotton candy shop! Whimsical, colorful, and amazing selection of sweets! The owner is so kind. We gave away her cotton candy as party favors for my sons birthday party and everyone, including the adults, loved her flavors! Especially lemonade, grape soda, and vanilla. We love Spun Sugar Detroit💖🤍

What am adorable shoppe. The kids absolutely loved the store. So many amazing cotton candy flavors. Just the few I've tried I've been so impressed. I've never had such flavorful cotton candy before. Really liking forward to trying their cotton candy cake soon. The staff is very friendly and helpful too. Thank you.
Update 5.28.22: still the best cotton candy I've ever had. Between the cotton candy cones, great variety of cotton candy flavors and all the other candy is a great place of you have a sweet tooth. I can't say enough good about this place. Thank you.

A fun candy shop with cotton candy and many more treats for the whole family!! This was such an exciting place for the kids to see and the Giant gumball machine was a hit! Three are so many flavors we bought four sour apple, orange soda, lemonade, and friuty pebbles! Amazing! There were many other chocolate and treats packaged ready to go. The staff's service was excellent look forward to returning.

Such an AMAZING experience for me and my daughter, the second we walked in we were welcomed and felt such niceness from the owner and worker. The place was a WONDERLAND my daughter was amazed and in awe, she loved the colors and designs (especially the unicorns) I loved the options and flavors. I really appreciated how the worker “wish I caught her name” chatted with my daughter and the owner giving us the cotton candy samples. I will honestly be back to get peoples Christmas gifts because they had amazing things at such great prices with such great customer service!

This store is Magical! You walk in and feel like a kid again from cotton candy (of course) lollipops, stuff animals, popcorn, cookies (yummy yummy cookies) to pop-its there is so much!!! And it's all so good!!!
The staff is very friendly and helpful the owner is out of this world her love for her products and making sure everything and everyone is taking care of. This shop needs 10 stars plus!!!

Today I took my daughter to this lovely little candy shop in town. I’m glad that I did! This small little shop is run with love. Within moments of walking in we were given a free sample. My child who didn’t like cotton candy discovered that she now does. While there we browsed through a variety of sweets and settled on today’s purchase. All the while the woman who ran the shop was very polite and engaging. I can say that this another little gem in our community. I’m certain I will be doing a lot of repeat business here.

This is the best mom and pop place for your homemade sugar fixes. They specialize in, and are petty much masters of cotton candy, but:
They also carry a delectable assortment of other candies. Most are from other eateries nearby so we get to taste stuff from other nearby sugar spots. I'm not a hard candy kinda person, however I will continue to come here and experiment with those parts of my taste buds!
Please keep it up and keep your hearts on the path you've chosen. I would believe it has worked well for them so far.

Inspiring!

The most delicious treats paired with the friendliest owner on record makes for a 5* review! I went for some of the namesake spun sugar (drool!), some cinnamon toothpicks (remember them?? Picture attached) and a smorgasbord of goodies. Big shout out to Shirley Temple and the merpeople. This isn't just a store, it's an experience - I will be returning!

Highly recommend! There were so many flavors of cotton candy - we tried sour apple, lemonade, orange sherbet, fruity pebbles, and cherry - all of them were delicious! There was a huge variety of candy, chocolates, and toys. A really fun place. The owner was so sweet and accommodating.

This was a great place to get a variety of different types of candies. Very delicious. If you like sour candies, try the sour blue raspberry belts. My favorite flavors of cotton candy are Blue Raspberry and Grape Soda. If you are nearby, I would definitely check it out.

Delicious flavors, but most importantly brought smiles to the faces of young and old alike at the graduation party. We had both ready-made containers and some live spinning. Great options for people to enjoy immediately and also take some home to share later. While spinning, there was such positive, fun and cheerful interaction with the kids at the party - it was like magic to them to see the cones go in and come out with puffy, cloud-like cotton candy. A dash of sparkling sprinkles and the look of joy and wonder would wash over their faces. A really special home-grown addition to the party that won't be forgotten.

This store has so many unique and yummy candies. The cotton candy is top notch flavors. Amazing staff and all around super cute store. A must visit.

In this day and age of online everything, with people trying to save a few pennies on soulless amazon, it's very refreshing to patronize a shop that restores your faith in brick and mortar stores. The owner actually cares about her customers, and it shows, unlike the phony good treatment that dumps like Walmart and far left Target offer. Upon entering, you are presented with a visually interesting and positive environment. As an adult, you will find it to be a VERY high quality establishment, and if you have young children, they will find it to be a nearly magical place. They have a great selection of treats that range from low cost to some higher end goods, all of them first quality though. There is even a giant gumball machine, gumdrop, and lollipop for those of you who want to get a fun picture of your kids for Instagram or Facebook. Its really very clever. If you want sad crying kids, take them to Walmart and buy them a candy bar. If you want a memorable, fun, and family friendly experience, go to Spun Sugar Detroit. 👍

Love this lovely little place! It is so cute. A kids dream come true. It’s a little off the beaten path but totally worth the trip. So much unique treats and the owner is wonderful. Glad we made the trip.

Great selection of candy to choose from. There are several different flavors of cotton candy to also choose from so great for the whole family. I have been to Spun Sugar a few times and the service is always amazing.

Very friendly owner, basically puts a spun sugar in your hand when you walk in! Kids loved it! I'm usually not a fan of spun sugar, but with the flavors it was actually quite good

So exciting to have a delicious candy store in South Lyon! The store is adorable and always so many yummy things to choose from. The Rock n’ Rye flavor is my favorite.
