Woodland Church

Today was my first service. Pastor Devon was amazing. God is truly working through him. If you are looking for a great experience, and a smaller setting this is the place for you. I look forward to Sunday mornings spent with Pastor Devon and his message from God.

loved going! last sunday was my second time going to this church, i brought my best friend who believes in God but had never been to church before and she loved it too!! the live band was so fun and the sermon was perfect. i felt a connection to God like never before in that establishment and it was amazing to be surrounded by people who love Jesus just as much as i do. i will definitely be going again this sunday.

Our home church 🤟 Worship is so wonderful and love the word our pastor brings each week! Everyone there is super friendly and welcoming! They also have a huge heart for children and programs for them, from newborn all the way thru high school!

Amazing praise and worship, awesome sermon, wonderful kids program.
I am always craving to go there. My kids love it too.
God always speak to me through the message and I feel like the message is for me.

This is my church home. It is where I met my soul mate and wonderful husband. It is where I proudly serve on the Connections Team. The worship music touches my soul during every song. Pastor Shannon knows how to mix the precious word of God with an application for my life each week. He and all pastoral staff are fun and passionate for God and for the mission of helping the people who need Him the most. Because I have chosen to join a women's small group, I have met one of my best gal friends in this world and feel blessed to know so many others. I truly believe an experience, in whatever church one chooses to attend, is what that person makes up in his or her mind that he or she wants it to be. God lead me to First Wes - of that I am sure. For that I thank Him everyday.

What a great church! People are so kind and welcoming. They seem very genuine unlike people at some other churches I have attended. An awesome place to gather with other believers to worship and hear the Word.

This church was founded April 14, 1899 in Battle Creek, Michigan and has been in existence for almost 120 years here. The First Wesleyan Church has a rich history in the Battle Creek community. Like any church its had its ups and downs over the years, however it has survived, because God has his arms wrapped around this church as he always has from the very beginning. This church has consistently served the community by sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ and helping those in need in so many ways... more than any other church in the area, in my opinion! I love First Wes (First Wesleyan Church)... there just isn't another church that makes me feel like I'm home, like this church does.

Pastor Shannon has an honest heart to serve the Lord. Works hard to make all feel welcome, and to keep the church body correctly effective in our community

Seems funny that I could judge a church,,when I still have public speaking fears myself, ha hah, I say outstanding!
