What an awesome grocery store! There was such a huge selection of Asian goods! The guy was extremely friendly and helpful. I will need to visit here again. I have many new things to cook at home from here now.

A wonderful selection of oriental foods, gifts, and goods. Great prices and a huge selection of gluten free options for my wife. Although I just found this store I am now back at least once a week. The gentleman behind the counter is always polite and helpful if I need a product translated.

This store is a gem that more people should discover. They have an amazing selection of snacks, sauces, drinks and so much more. The Ramen selection alone is beyond compare. Despite having hundreds of items displayed in a small area, everything is arranged so well that you don't ever feel overwhelmed when looking through a particular area. The gentleman that was there during my visit was extremely helpful and answered all of my many, so many, questions. I highly recommend this store to anyone who enjoys treats that you can't find in every single store. Some of the snacks are another take on something similar to our snacks while others vary from mildly to wildly exotic in contrasting flavor profiles and for me that is fascinating so I guess that's why I left this essay length review. Apologies for the lack of brevity but this store deserved every single word.

I was wanting to try making sushi rolls for the first time so I stopped in here for I wanted to get all I needed in one place. The gentleman behind the counter was very helpful in showing me what I was going to need. If it wasn't for him being an amazing help, I would probably still be standing there trying to figure it out. A week later, my California roll turned out amazing. This week I am trying to make one with eel and another with mango. Great variety and superb customer service.

Of the various Asian stores we have in Battle Creek, each one is just a bit different than the next. I really enjoyed the customer service at this particular store. My questions were easily answered and I didn't feel like it was a problem for me to browse as long as I wanted😊✌

This is an awesome, little shop with more inside than you would think. In just 1 stop, I found fresh Ginger root, Gyoza wrappers, Sesame Oil, Fish Sauce and a Chinese 5 spice powder. It was nice to find all the ingredients for Pork Dumplings in one place and the prices were great. I plan to shop here again in the near future.

The owner is a wonderful man and is always polite to us. He has a big selection and is affordable. I love this place.

We drove 45 minutes to see what the hype was all about...and it was well worth it!! The owner is an extremely nice person who was very helpful. He was able to suggest some items to us based off of our interests. He was also engaging and kind to our 2 year old son.

When I need a food item from an Asian food store, this is where I go. There's another store on my regular route, but the proprietor is so friendly here, I can't imagine shopping elsewhere. While I have yet to become proficient with Asian recipes, I know that when the time comes to try something new, I'll be able to get advice from the owner. He's helped me before. Today, I only went for fortune cookies, but a smile and good service are greatly appreciated. That and the excellent variety of food available make Battle Creek Oriental Store my first choice.

Staff was very helpful. I was looking for a special seasoning to bake a duck. The packages were not labeled in English. He listened to what I wanted and helped me choose the perfect seasoning. The store was clean and neatly arranged. Fresh produce was available as well as place settings, rice cookers, utensils.

My husband and I went for the first time today. It’s small but it has a very large selection. The owner was so nice with helping us pick everything we needed. Will definitely be returning in the near future!

Best store if you are looking for authentic Asian food, utensils, and cookware! The owner is very helpful and willing to assist you if you have questions. I have bought a variety of foods there and the best discovery was a mushroom I had never heard of, the trumpet mushroom. It is huge and tastes great in any dish! The kimchi is great and the location is easy to get to! Just go there and see for yourself!

This store is awesome. If you are looking for something specific or just checking things out, it's a cool place to find Asian foods, candy and more. Plus the owner is super sweet and helpful.

My wife is half Korean and we are new to the area. We have bought several items from the shop and plan to continue as our boys crave the Korean food made by their grandma. Very thankful for this store! They have a nice selection of food we are used to.

The man who runs this store is the nicest shop keeper I've ever met. Im quite literate in Japanese but when I cant read the Korean or Kanji he is especially helpful. This is my favorite place to go for Asian foods and cookware. Prices are good considering its imported and a locally owned. Some prices on dry good are better than big box stores. Even if they werent it would still be my #1 choice on service alone.

This is the best Asian food store in town (we have several). The owner is really nice, and they carry a decent selection of food, teas, and household items. They also have the best seaweed selection in town. Love it there!
