Algonac Waterfront Park

This is a late review. I used to visit this boardwalk in the 1980s and early 1990s. I visited again on 06-01-2019.

I get to live in this place.How great is that!!

Spent some time at the Art Fair, this boardwalk is awesome to get a glimpse of a freighter or two Going up or down river

Great place, great fun. Make sure you drop by the maritime museum on your visit!

Beautiful view to watch freighters go by, tons of fun events during the summertime. Lovely little city a must stop and see ❤

Nice point to cross the borders between Canada & America using a ferry.
It goes & back shortly, so you don't wait long for the ferry. You pay $12 per car no matter how many people are in the car.
Young need to wait long line for entering USA or Canada.

Algonac has a beautiful park which you can many times see freighters going by. The Dairy Queen and Jets Pizza are right across the street so you can stop and grab a snack and go to the park and enjoy the great view or go for a walk down the boardwalk.
Nice benches, picnic tables and Adirondack chairs for sitting also.
Lots of people fish here too. Outhouse and boat launch.

beautiful. clean not crowded. kinda of older crowd in area so it's nice and quiet. untainted with heavy bass stereo systems. family orientated. there is an aura of peaceful existence. The park is overall not a place to go if you want a small town community feel as the people I met are not super friendy. beautiful but flooded right noe

It's where I grew up. Born and raised. AHS class of 1978. I'm old enough to remember the old downtown waterfront. The current state of the river is jammed with ice. Coast Guard cutters are mooring up to the sea wall, and they are interesting to look at and study.

Nice view with plenty of seating. Fishing or walking on the real board walk is a relaxing way to spend some time along the waterway here. Do enjoy

No other place like it. Great place to walk or fish or sit on a bench and take it all in.

A beautiful place to have live entertainment by the Taylor Tucky Band. Lovely weather, scenery & amazing music!

I Love going here to see the Yearly Fireworks July 4th....
They are Awesome, with All the Amazing activities that they have PLUS a Carnival too.. Absolutely Amazing 💜💜

I will always love this place. I feel like home here. A feeling of "home at least" I do most of my thinking here on a daily. Beautiful scenery, amazing people & very freindly.

It was an exceptional evening for music in the park. Cool breeze off the water, good music, great conversation...what could be better on a Thursday evening!
