Love this place! Great place to go anytime they're open, but if u want to beat the crowd, go on a Sunday after 1pm. Very private feeling at that time of week!
The wait staff are all top notch and fun, and the owner pokes around sometimes too making sure everything is better than satisfactory!

I wanted a more healthy option, and it did not disappoint. The chicken was tender and juicy and the vegetables were tasty. Everyone else got BBQ and it smelled and looked amazing. The wait staff was friendly and attentive.

First time here! Heard so many great things about this place and wish we came sooner! Upon pulling into the parking lot, I could immediately smell the BBQ. Greeted inside immediately by friendly staff. Our waitress, Sarah was nice, courteous and on point with our needs. Food came out quick. Jalepeno poppers were the best I have EVER had. Sauce was fantastic. I ordered the smoked meatloaf and white pizza. A ton of food, but worth the boxes home. Everything was FANTASTIC!!! 100% Recommend!

This place was a absolute delight! Staff was very helpful, the menu is HUGE so she told us a few of her favorites, there is something for everyone, down to the pickiest of eaters. Not to mention the atmosphere is great, all sorts of areas to choose from, customized booths so there is always something new to look at, definitely a place to check out. The food was truly delicious!!!

Absolutely love love love this place! If I could give it 100/100 stars I would! I have been here multiple times for both dine in, and take out. Perfection everytime! Amazing service, awesome atmosphere, and outstanding homestyle cooking! So happy to have Foxfire Fixin's in my neck of the woods!

Found this place one weekend. It's a gem. We went on a Saturday, they had a man playing guitar. I guess he's there every Friday and Saturday. Really nice to listen to live music while we eat.
Our waitress was Emily, she was amazing. Nice and polite.
The food was Amazing. Homemade potato soup, just like your granny would make.
I can't say enough about this place. If your up there way ,you so stop in and try the food.

Stopped in on a whim (even the parking lot is fun!) and loved it from the first moment. Fantastic food...we try something different with each visit (8 times so far) and it's great! Terrific people, especially like the table visits from the owner...great guy. And the decor...what fun! I recommend that you spend extra time just looking around. They have board games on the ceiling, "theme" booths, eclectic tableware, and memories from days past in every inch of the restaurant. There's so much to look at and smile about that I can't imagine anyone not leaving with a smile and a full belly! And if you visit on a Fri or Sat evening, you'll enjoy live entertainment from Kenny Lang. Maybe we'll see you there sometime!

Excellent food, attentive wait staff. Ate in the heated patio with our own personal fire pit. Fascinating place with a quirky ambiance. Each space has it's own feel. If you love good smoked meats, this is your place!

I absolutely adore this restaurant. The decor is so unique and each piece has it's own story. The waitress was funny and friendly, she made sure we were taken care of the entire time we were there. I got the mac and cheese and let me tell you it's the best stuff in the world. So creamy and cheesy, I would order it over and over again. Prices are normal for the food you are given. Restaurant was mostly clean and cozy.

Best restaurant I've ever been to! So unique & so much decor to look at! The food & drinks are so delicious! The owner & staff are super friendly. The live entertainment was wonderful! Definitely my new go-to!

The food here is hands down the best BBQ I've had. The owner is a super nice guy and I would highly recommend this place. I had the brisket and my wife had the rib tips. What we didn't eat there, we finished at home the next day for lunch!

We took a spur of the moment trip here, after a recommendation from a friend.

We were NOT disappointed. Despite being rather secluded, and having a very rustic appearance upon arrival, everything was clean and had a cool southern eclectic charm. Chairs didn’t match, decore was all over the place, but that’s half the fun.

I got the pork rinds and the potato skins for the apps. They did take a decent amount of time to come out of the kitchen, but it was definitely freshly cooked and homemade and very flavorful.

We shared the bbq sampler and it was plenty to share for 2. The food was freshly smoked and flavorful and melt in your mouth. We also got a side of mac and extra corn bread. The mac was made fresh and had real cheese, and was extra creamy.

We were so full after the food, but couldn’t pass up dessert. We got a few slices of pie to go too.

Overall, slightly slow service, but that’s expected give the overall feel of the southern kitchen and home cooked meal.

This is by far the BEST bbq in Michigan that I’ve ever had. A MUST recommended visit!

Get the jalapeño poppers, they are excellent! Also a favorite was the chicken fried steak and the Monte crisco sandwich! Highly recommend!

This place has quickly become part of our yułe log hunt tradition. The food is outstanding especially if you love brisket. Great prices and my kid loves to do the scavenger hunt they have.

Only my second time here, since moving from Texas almost two years ago! But, excellent food, prices and staff! And you can't help but love the atmosphere!! Reminds me a lot of places I went to, back home on south Texas!!

Love this place. The decor is unique, and every time I come, I notice something new. The staff is friendly and the owner came to check on us when he wasn't cooking. The food was delicious and plentiful! I never leave disappointed.

If you’re looking for something a little different from the ordinary chain restaurant. I was out of town and camped at Algonac State Park and this restaurant was only 2 miles down the road so I decided to give it a try. I got the olive burger and I was not disappointed. Half pound handmade patty just loaded with green olives and Swiss cheese. It was excellent. I also tried the fried cheese curds and they were the best I’ve ever had. The marinara that came with the curds made me wish I had stopped the night before as well. I can only assume their pizza is crazy good based on the flavor of the marinara. My only issue and it’s a small one is I ordered a margarita and it was very sweet. Almost tasted like they added granulated sugar to it. My server was awesome as well. Very attentive and the service was fast.

First time going to this place and I was impressed. The staff was very friendly and outgoing. The food was really good and as well as the drinks. Definitely will be back!
