This unassuming market has the ABSOLUTE BEST 12-week aged steaks we have EVER tasted. Have Walid dress and season them, I promise you won't regret it! Besides the steak, the Lebanese deli is FIRE! Tabbouli, baba ganoush, pita, hummus and a garlic sauce TO DIE FOR! Ask for a sample and buy more than you think you'll need because they're all SO DELICIOUS. Don't EVEN let me start on the baklava...just get it and you'll know!

All of this on top of great customer service and (I believe he said) 47 years of knowledge. Do not pass by without experiencing this oldest grocery market in Michigan!

Why there isn’t a line out the door or he runs out of steaks is beyond me. These are seriously seriously the finest steaks around. Stopped in for One Steak and walked out with 5…aged 14 weeks and melt in your mouth

Heard about this place while camping in the area and picked up one of the best aged steaks I've ever eaten. The owner was funny and friendly and also makes delicious hummus and taboule

Stayed at an AirBnb right across the street and stopped in for some snacks. We got to sample the tabouli, hummus, garlic dip, and baba ghanoush. It was so good we ended up taking home a container of each. The next morning we came back and loaded up on some more to take to a party. Definitely recommend stopping in!

Drove past for 3 years but never stopped and finally did. OMG so many samples from the owner I left with a full tummy. Garlic paste, taboli, babaganu, pita purchased to feed out of town vistors. Darned good!!! Going back for sharwma tonight. Thank God I have my Lebanese fix close to home.

Omg. Fantastic ribeye steaks. Cut & seasoned to order. Owner of this meat market is really nice & helpful. Kind of pricey but most definitely you get what you pay for. Probably the best steaks I have ever eaten in my whole life. This is not an exaggeration. Highly recommend this business.

You got to not drive past this store. We are always on a drive along the St. Clair river and we stop most always. The table is really really great. I was asked if I tried the stake. Hum I had better get some 4 on the way home. The owner says to try it it's really the best. I will because he has NEVER. Been wrong.

Just went there for ice and it was our last night staying at the state park campground just a mile or two away. If I was staying a little longer I would have bought one of the steaks that he had in the display. 1-7/8" thick NEW YORK STRIP steaks!! I've never seen steaks cut that thick. You're going to pay for it at $20 per pound but I would have splurged on vacation if I didn't already have dinner plans for that night.

Very friendly man that was running the store with a good sense of humor too. One of these days I'll be back up there for the steak!

This place is a hidden gem! The steaks are extraordinary! The hummus, tubuli, garlic dip and pita is fresh and delicious! They are happy to let you sample as I did several items, all were very tasty. I highly recommend stopping in here.

One of the best chicken shawarma sandwiches I have ever had and I've had them in Israel! The owner is a Christian man from Lebanon and he is very friendly and helpful! I recommend you stop and check this place out just for the sandwiches and wraps. Very close to the algonac State Park campground. Other than that it's your typical party store.

My first visit was last Saturday when I bought a variety Mediterranean food from the deli counter.
The gentleman that waited on me said it is "the best", and he was right !!
I will be back.

The owner was very nice, welcoming, to our first time being there. He let us try all Lebanese food prepared by his wife, and he seasoned our steaks for later cooking..

I was lured in by the sign out front which says "Shawarma". Since it was my first time there, the lady gave samples of a few things. Their hummus, Tabbouleh and Baba Ghanoush are great. The garlic sauce is bangin'. They make that lentil dish I can never remember the name of, and it was good. The shawarma was great. I'm going to go back and try the kofta.

The best hummus and tabbouleh. He uses only organic ingredients, the result is incredible!

We just had one of the two steaks we bought today, one was enough for the two of us and it was wonderful. So far we love everything we buy there, thanks Walid!!

We're from the Northwest. Where ever you're from, go to to Azar's Market for fresh, delicious Lebanese food (oh, that garlic sauce--I HAD to take some home). Azar's is family-centered. Walid, Sr. his wife Maggie (also spelled Magi), Walid, Jr. and a gramma were there--and serving us! Great hospitality and a nice array of products, cured meats and sandwiches as well.
