Algonac Flaming Grill

Visited the Algonac Flaming Grill today for a late lunch. Their Double Bacon Cheeseburger is probably one of the best burgers I've ever had. Cooked to perfection as I ordered, two huge burgers each with bacon plus lettuce, tomato and onion. The fries were great too. The service was top notch and all the staff were super friendly. We will definitely eat here again when we visit. Algonac is a lovely town with a great boardwalk on the St.Clair river. Well worth a visit.

I have never had anything other than an excellent meal here with excellent service. Breakfast or lunch, reliably tasty & generous! Just had their patty melt: perfection! Even their fries are better than elsewhere. No one makes a special request corn-beef hash “crispy” like Flaming Grill. The grits portions are huge—as most everything. So much, it’s like getting a 2nd meal to go! Great variety from Greek to Mexican to All American & more. Interior is always immaculate & attractive. Lots of comfy Booths! Such pleasant wait staff…& whoever is working the kitchen sure does it well!!!

Very good place to eat.. my husband and I are from out of town, and we happen to stop here for breakfast, and we received great service, and great food. Definitely recommend 👌🏽

Nice, newly-renovated restrooms. The menu offers abundant choices. My friend got the quesadilla, which was delicious. Our other friend had the waffle, also impressive, as it looked EXACTLY like the photo in the menu! She loved it and I kinda wanted a bite but I was so full from eating almost all on my Michigan salad with chicken and dried cherries that I passed. It was excellent and the pita that came with it was crispy and warm, very fluffy and good! I will go back. Good prices.

The food is usually always cooked well and service is good. The staff are very nice, most soft spoken. And the scenery is great.

I came to this restaurant last week because I had one a gift certificate and decided to try out this restaurant. The menu looked really great everything that was on the menu it looked delicious to be honest it was hard to decide what I wanted so I made my husband make a decision for me.

I had gone into the restaurant and I was greeted as soon as I walked up the atmosphere was absolutely awesome it felt like I was at home right away. I walked up to the lady and she asked me if I was waiting for my order yet and I said no she said oh would you like to order for takeout or dine in I said take out please and can I just borrow a menu for 5 minutes so I can see what's on the menu? She said yeabsolutely, so after carefully reviewing the menu and all the delicious choices I went with the parmesan chicken and my husband went with the hot roast beast sandwich.

I went in and I paid and it was ready in less than 10 minutes.

We live in Canada so it took us a little longer to eat because we had to put away groceries and take care of other things.

When it was time to sit down I salt and peppered up my chicken parm and I went to town on it was absolutely massive I was only able to eat a tiny portion of the chicken and I was full.

I tried a bite of my husband's roast beast and it was sooo good. Even our little son who is a picky eater and he loved it as well.

Later on in the night I had woken up and started to puke my brains out. I kind of thought it could have potentially been from the chicken but I shared the rest with my other children and they didn't get sick I did have pizza the night before and I was feeling kind of queasy all day. So I do not think that I had food poisoning. Maybe it was from the pizza sauce NOT from the flaming grill.

If anybody is considering trying this place for the first time I would definitely go for it as soon as I walked in the girls who were working we're really nice. The only regret that I have is not taking a picture.

Love having Breakfast to go or Dine in here - the Gyros are really good to for lunch and sometimes for dinner too. Great food to count on when eating here.

Food was delicious, good service, and waitresses were so friendly! The place is very clean especially the bathroom 😁It was my first time in town and I really loved the area and the restaurant!

This was my first time in Algona Flaming Grill had breakfast with my son and granddaughter services was great everyone was pleasant the food was awesome first restaurant I have been to that actually knows how to butter toast 😋

We drive 45 minutes for the home cooking, hometown atmosphere and amazing view of Lake St Claire river. If you never had their grits they are amazing....they are creamy not watery like most places. Bacon is always perfect. One of our favorite spots

One of the few places in town that serves breakfast. Two people can split one breakfast skillet!

A gem of a diner. I can only speak to breakfast. We look forward to a breakfast here whenever we are in town. Friendly fun staff. Amazing breakfast at a great price.

Wonderful American style eats. Love their new York Reubens. Almost anything we get here is very good

We absolutely love coming here. The food is wonderful and the customer service is excellent. We have never had a bad experience and are so grateful to support this local business. We discovered this restaurant by chance over a year ago after a long day of fishing. It's very clear that all of the staff work very hard and always try their best to deliver a meaningful customer service experience. We've even received personalized notes on out takeout orders from the staff with very kind and caring words (picture included.) Thank you so much to the owners and entire staff for your dedication, hard work and sincerity in serving your community. You are appreciated so very much.

We are visiting from out of town and thought we would give this place a try for breakfast. The employees were extremely friendly, and they did was great. It was everything I was hoping to get from a small diner. I definitely recommend!
